Few things about this video. You do jot need to pay £50 for a licence, you can get free 3 month licences which you renew every 3 months if you need extended features, all diagnostic features are available on the standard non expiring licence. Almost any elm obd tool can be used and modified to have ms and hs can if you need it and a cheap Chinese adaptor can be used. The 2004 mk3 mondeo in this video does not use ms and hs can, an adaptor with ms and hs can does not offer any additional features for that vehicle.
Thanks for usefully video .Do you try with MAZDA car ?I want to buy it for my Mazda car , which seller said can be used for Mazda car .Did we buy a licence for software ?
Bought one my opinion is the only differences between my old standard cable and this one is the auto toggle switch and the expensive price. Money down the grid in my opinion.
Be aware, some of the older OBDLink EX will not work with USB3 computer ports. If you have the "Descriptor Error" when you plug it in, it means is not compatible and need to be replaced, contact the manudacturer directly.
Mine is limited to 70. Ive read it can be changed on forscan to a few different speeds. Have you found out how to do it? Ive downloaded the software and had it connected to the transit but cant find where to change it
@@1989Chrisc you have to go into bcm and find speed limiter and see if it is on also you might have to remap ecu as I have done a few that have it in both bcm and ecu
Thanks for the video man, well keen to listen to anymore wisdom about this software

Thanks for the info m8 do you if it can remove speed limiter on a transit fed up on sitting at 60
Cant say I've had one plugged in, but there's a good chance it will. For the price it's a great tool for any ford owner.

This thing is straight garbage. Red light, multiple firmware updates... port reconfigurations... windows updates, nothing works. Now I'm drinking...
No problems with mine, never had a problem on windows 10.
