None of the other stalkers are really direct references to actual killers- except maybe the Chopper's name, as a shoutout to the Aussie Chopper.

Loved your whole ClockTower rundown nitro, thank you!! I've been a big fan of these for ages and it was excellent to see your take on it! (also your transformation was truly spectacular and worthy of the Rooter line for sure ;3) May all your videos be Plus Ultra
I'm in the middle of a Nitro Rad binge, and a cool thing I want to highlight for anyone else returning here: The final boss has a version of your instant kill move that he can use on YOU. Whereas Alyssa shoots an arrow to the sky that punches a hole in the clouds and rains a giant lightning bolt onto the boss, he opens a hole for a big ass SKULL to peer out of and shoots a beam out of it's mouth down onto you. It's sick.
Know what kind of game would be an amazing remake with today's growing interest in psychological horror? I have no Mouth and I must Scream. Get on that juicy piece of retro goodness, my Rad boy.
I remember years ago finding you when I was on a platformer review binge. Loved your stuff. Then a bit later I “found you again” while on a survival horror review binge. Only a couple weeks ago did I look you up again and make the realization that it was the same channel/person both times lol. Love the variety, professionalism, and unbiased outlooks.
Would love to see you run through the Fatal Frame series! ...would also like your buddy to get an opening it a relaxing hammock and a nice drink after this. Wait, is that Kyle Hyde?
*@NitroRad* Excellent stuff, buddy! You’ve definitely earned a new subscriber. 👏🏼 But, as a kid… Clock Tower 3 scared the absolute shit out of me to the point I couldn’t get very far. I guess Clock Tower 3 has a “special place” in my heart, just like Silent Hill 4: The Room. 👨🏻🍳🤌🏼
I'm gonna second all the people recommending Blue Stinger and Illbleed. I'd really love to see your take on them. If you thought the story to this was silly...
@@theblocksays Oh yeah, the stories for those two are the best parts of the games. I'll stay quiet about why though. I hope Nitro Rad finds out for himself.
Oh, so THAT's why I got a ton of Nitro Rad videos on my feed all out of a sudden. You are a clever one, I'll give you that. Even so, I'm glad you did that, because now I got another reviewer that has garnered my attention. You earned a subscriber with your trickery. Be proud of that, man.
So honestly, this whole Halloween Special series is what introduced me to your channel (more specifically the Rule of Rose video, a game which personally I adore, but I know has flaws, and I'm just glad more people know about it now), and it's very very quickly become one of my favourite channels to watch. I went back and watched all the Siren videos too, loved them as well. I really love the way the scripts are written, and the tone Nitrorad gives each time, analytical with hints of anecdotes and personal touches, I really feel like I learn a lot about each game in such a short amount of time. Only thing I'm not super into are the little intro clips but, that's just me, plus I know it's harkoning back to Nitrorad's performance history so, not much of an issue. Honestly I'm really glad I found the channel, already a steadfast fan and can't wait to see more. Keep up the great work!!
This was a really nice serie to watch! I really don't like the horror genre so i normally wouldn't have watched but i knew a bit about this game so i was like "oh why not" while being ready to leave at any moment. I'm impressed you had the patience to finish all of these (specially ghost head), and you were really fair in your review, talking about the good, the bad, the goofy, and worth mentioning. The bit of acting there and there was really nice too!
I remember this game. Particularly the third boss, who was the guy with axes. I remember two major things. 1)being able to hide behind a large fish tank indefinitely until the guy went away. It took like an hour because he kept returning to the room. The guy was relentless. 2) the final fight with the guy. I had him tethered and hit him with the finisher, only for him to BLOCK it and I had to do it again!
That bit at the end is the best part! I am so glad I was recommended you channel. I've been bing watching your vids. Your review's are great and you focus on my favourite genre! Horror survival. I also really the love the effort you put into some of your thumbails, the cosplay ones are awesome!
Who needs trick-or-treating? This video is enough of a treat for me. In fact, these past 2 months have been packed with videos. All of them being of really high quality too. I hope you get some well-deserved rest after this. I started this month only knowing about the first Clock Tower game, so it has been really interesting learning about this spooky and convoluted series, along with its history. Probably not a series I'll ever consider trying out, considering horror is my cup of tea, but dang if they didn't make for some good Halloween specials. Happy Halloween!
I really dont get how people cant wrap their around tank controls. Its not that difficult to get used to them. I used to dislike them, but then I tried it out in REmake, took me 20 minutes and I was used to them. They ARE the superioir control scheme for games like this. Okay, I can understand for games like Haunting ground, you have to dodge quickly and such, tank controls would feel a bit clumsy for that game. But SH4 and Rule of Rose NEEDS tank controls.
Haunting Ground also had the "panic meter" included. It seems at this time that Capcom was experimenting with this hiding and panic thing. Glad to see you actually did mention Haunting Ground at the end of the video.
Haunting Ground is legit, I'm really excited for you to cover it next year. Definitely leans more into horror, still has a pretty ridiculous plot but I think it's executed in a darker and grounded way. The stalker themes too during chases is genuinely some freaky stuff, and I think it's a close comparison to how freaky and intense the final boss theme is from Silent Hill 1.
Hope you wind up covering the 2 Obscure games and the Alone in the Dark series in the future. Huge fan of yours, Brady's and your channel. Real glad you're doing this for a living instead of retail now. Those intros are too good.
16:30 I would love to know your thoughts on the game Mystery Case Files: (something something, forgot which one) Ravenhearst. I was too creeped out by the progression of her diary entries to finish the game. Well, I was a kid and it's usually at night when I played it.
Also thank you for doing the Clock Tower series! Super entertaining to watch, and those skits and costumes are bomb. Thank the omnipresent beings I subscribed!
There's no fear in this game? Try playing it on the highest difficulty level once you beat the game and we'll see if you don't feel the tension and the fear tied to the panic meter. It was a really good game for me, the story was well written even though the end went a little crazy but I was hooked for a good part of it. Great game.
It's not scary at all, just more challenging. Particularly , enemies are faster, Alyssa panics easier, boss attacks in battles are stronger and so and so , however the item set is the exact same as the normal game and so is the item amount , unlike Haunting Ground that has less healing items on hard mode. Doesn't help either that all the preset encounters and ''triggers'' for an enemy to appear are ALWAYS the same (Sledgehammer in appearing in the stairs room in the Music Hall, Corroder in the blind spot when you are gonna go upstairs in the Rand Houser, SccissorWoman behind the book shelf after you read that one note from Alyssa's Grandfather in the library, ALL the appearences of the Chopper in the Elevator during the sewer part ... and so and so and yes i have played the game waaay too many times) So yeah, since everything is essentially always the same you dont get a surprise factor after the very first playthrough, not even in hard mode , unlike once again HG, that has a select ''preset'' stalker appearences but they appear more randomly than in CT3.
Well. Now the twitter post about you with a bow and arrow makes sense. Nice acting! You really captured the spirit of the game, plus it further added to your point that the voice acting didn’t match the motion capture. It was quite a ride seeing the Clock Tower series and you’ve definitely piqued my interest!
Haunting Ground and Nightcry I hear are pretty good you also got Remothered which a lot of people are saying is a good successor to Clock Tower so you could try that out as well.

"HOW?! HOW CAN YOU STILL HAVE VISIONS?!"
This reference helped me track down the song, thank you!
Very good video, I've already seen it whole and I approve it
Your a magic man
Loved your whole ClockTower rundown nitro, thank you!! I've been a big fan of these for ages and it was excellent to see your take on it! (also your transformation was truly spectacular and worthy of the Rooter line for sure ;3) May all your videos be Plus Ultra
I swear I just finished watching the ghost head video like 10 minutes ago and then I saw this pop up in my notifications! Happy Halloween guys!
dunDunDUN
Dude your the best (I'm loving these movie esq intros they're top tier stuff).
You should check out Dreaming Mary!
Good game
I'm in the middle of a Nitro Rad binge, and a cool thing I want to highlight for anyone else returning here: The final boss has a version of your instant kill move that he can use on YOU. Whereas Alyssa shoots an arrow to the sky that punches a hole in the clouds and rains a giant lightning bolt onto the boss, he opens a hole for a big ass SKULL to peer out of and shoots a beam out of it's mouth down onto you. It's sick.
R.I.P Brady the cool black dude.
@LonelyLoser thanks
Where can I find this...
The motion capture in certain scenes of this game never failed to crack me up.
Know what kind of game would be an amazing remake with today's growing interest in psychological horror? I have no Mouth and I must Scream. Get on that juicy piece of retro goodness, my Rad boy.
Speaking of psychological horror, American Mcgee's Alice and its sequel are pretty good games for that genre
OBSCURED needs to be revived
I have no mouth and I must scream would be beyond creepy with the "yellow" level or that cut out content where you eat a baby whole somehow.
Honestly, I don't see why. Only a re-release would be more than enough.
It's been 20 years since Clock Tower 3 released. Come on, Capcom.
Would love to see you run through the Fatal Frame series! ...would also like your buddy to get an opening it a relaxing hammock and a nice drink after this.
Wait, is that Kyle Hyde?
I loved Clock Tower 3 ! Enemies appearing out of freaking nowhere when you changed camera angle always got me aha
I really hope we get a proper Clock Tower 4 one day. And not just another spiritual sequel.
I love love love Halloween
“And he also directed a movie called Battle Royale”
Damnit, NitroRad’s hopping on the Fortnite train now.
Hello There I think you mean bus...
With the exception that battle royal is a Japanese film from the year 2000
But hey, it's a fortnite joke
@@AkashiyaKimiko wouldn't be surprised if the entire battle royale game genre developed from that old movie
Kevin McGuin could be, the film had quiet a following when it came out back them. Maybe some developers were fans of it.
Please don’t ever stop reviewing older games. I love watching incredibly well done videos on games I grew up on!
From silent hill to madoka magica at the drop of a hat. everyone can stop trying now, we've achieved peak storytelling.
*@NitroRad*
Excellent stuff, buddy! You’ve definitely earned a new subscriber. 👏🏼
But, as a kid… Clock Tower 3 scared the absolute shit out of me to the point I couldn’t get very far.
Never finished Illbleed when I had my Dreamcast but I enjoyed it, awful voice acting n' all!
Oh yes, the one we've all been waiting for.
Bates is the ultimate badass, even when he's not in a clock tower game
I LOVE the sketch at the end and the seemless transition to you putting your shirt back on!
There's another clock tower game?!?!? You've gotta be kidding me. But hey awesome video none the less.
Loved Clock Tower 3. Think I rented it twice from Blockbuster back in the day.
22:16 welp, my hands are all gooey and white now...
That bit at the end is the best part! I am so glad I was recommended you channel. I've been bing watching your vids. Your review's are great and you focus on my favourite genre! Horror survival. I also really the love the effort you put into some of your thumbails, the cosplay ones are awesome!
But you gotta admit... the boss music was great
Who needs trick-or-treating?
Boi you really deliver, this series does make me shake and shiver.
Hell yeah my fav game on ps2 along with silent hill 3, mahou shoujo with horror 👀👌
also Kinji's Battle Royale movie rocks
I wasn't expecting the intro to be violent asmr but oke
My god damn favourite youtuber. I haven't even watched but bloody hell my day is already made.
Sunsoft and Capcom working together on a game?! That's epic!
I just freaking love your work! I need more of it!
There's no fear in this game? Try playing it on the highest difficulty level once you beat the game and we'll see if you don't feel the tension and the fear tied to the panic meter. It was a really good game for me, the story was well written even though the end went a little crazy but I was hooked for a good part of it. Great game.
Almost any game can be "scary" if you play it on a punishing difficulty level. That has little to do with the horror genre.
@@VisserZer0 Stressful is the word I'd use.
Happy Halloween. I wander if there be a obscure future horror video
love it ! so happy to see the clock tower series come to an end !! fantastic job my dude, funny as always
Haunting Ground and Nightcry I hear are pretty good you also got Remothered which a lot of people are saying is a good successor to Clock Tower so you could try that out as well.
