Just one question, you always grew the pumpkin on a flat surface, so one side of the pumpkin is always flat, not rounded. Why not dig a semi-circular hole instead of a flat surface to keep the pumpkin in perfect shape
you could do something like that but you also have to transport it for a few hours to the weigh off, and would require some sort of specialty pallet, plus the scale is flat..... dont need it rolling off there either
@@MobyMikePumpkins you going to elaborate on what you meant? Just spray whatever? Trade secret? I was paying you a compliment bro. Least you can do is explain how right?
@andrewwhite1576 i use a product called eagle 20, although this product is becoming ineffective it does work well as a preventative, many growers are switching to a product called rhyme for pm. I also use daconil with mancozeb which also can help with pm although i use it for downey mildew. I also use junction which is copper based which i use for bacterial leaf spots but it also has some effect on pm
@@MobyMikePumpkins thank you for the information. I will remember this the next time I experience pm on my 🎃. I live in a wet cold climate and pm hits hard when it does. 👍
I don’t know how or why i ended up on pumpkintube but cool 😂
Better to learn how to grow this kind of giant pumpkin 😂 but either one works
I don't even garden but here we are.
Me neither, but I’m ok with it.
Oh. So dozens gotta die for the one giant to emerge. Epic.
Technically the others were never born or fertilized but yes no siblings allowed
Is that deadheaded or is that the main coming off the stem?
That pumpkin gonna be big I can tell
I came for my basic pumpkins and found this. I’m happy and my next plants will be giant guys
