- In 2022 I grew the 6th heaviest pumpkin in the world. At times it was growing 50 pounds a day. I filmed the whole process.

wow, the pumpkin is so big ❤
I needed something to help me focus on something else, and this absolutely fit the bill, I was RIVETED!!
Glad you liked it!
Awesome. Would love to see this narrated or annotated with you describing the process, all the tools and materials youre using, your thoughts and intentions the whole time...fascinating stuff!
That's a good idea! Thanks!
@@NortheastGiantPumpkin Yeah excellent idea! Inside scoop from the mind of the grower of the biggest pumpkins! We'd all enjoy that! Blessings from Tennessee! Amazing! I used to visit Topsfield fair as a kid. I love what you guys do! So many memories!
I’m thinking you could add an Amazon store too… with things you buy from vermiculite to Felcos… and that plastic!!
I'm getting the feeling this guy has done this before.
He feeds them more than I have to feed my own kids.
I’d love to see a longer form video on your seed starting and early indoor growing. What’s that tent thing you have?? Thanks
Absolutly incredible, man , so much love from Germany.
I really enjoyed that video and picked up some good tips. Thanks for sharing!
Nice. Just love watching all the intricate steps of a master
Thank you!
Love the compilation of all your shorter videos! I grew your 2480 here in Oregon and got 1214.5 pounds that came in 15% heavy. I picked that one first and ended up wishing I had let it grow another 3 weeks.
That's so cool to hear!! Wow 15% heavy is awesome. Are you growing again next year?
. @NortheastGiantPumpkin Yep! Excited about next season. Looking forward to the seed auctions coming up. I did five plants last year. Not sure if I am up for that many again, but would like to take a run at 4300 pounds and a jacket. Are you growing next year? How many plants do you typically do?
Do you end up eating them a little? What's the difference with a regular pumpkin?
It's the great pumpkin Chunky Brown.
Well done
Anytime you weigh a pumpkin in your area bigger than Ron Wallace you know you’re doing good!
Love watching the video! Great job!🎉
I know right 😃
😃🎉 Excellent
I subscribed to your channel 🙏
verry nice video
nice 😊so relaxing
What delicious dessert can be made from this pumpkin?
Wow! Thanks for sharing your works!
I see love and patient and more ...
I will try giant pumpkin in my land next year for sure!
Great vid! I am a new fan and am going to be attempting my first giant pumpkin in 2024. Ever have an issue with too much water/ rainfall? New England here too.
Wow amazing vid I just Ed harvest my corn😮😊
Thanks for sharing your growing process. I learnt how to pin and bury the vines from your videos and used it for my first time watermelon patch. It's going very well. Do you cut the vine after the pumpkin forms for nutrient uptake or just so it's easy to access? God bless you. 😄
I would have liked it to have written instructions, even if it was something simple. Have you thought about writing a book or do you know of a book that literally explains how to plant a giant pumpkin? xD thanks for the video 🎃 🧡
Hi sir nice job ! What was all the amendments you put in the ground before you planted?
WOW!!!!!
Awesome. You should have taken a picture of yourself from inside the pumpkin saying "you'll never guess where I am" at the very beginning of your video.
Google says you'll get a thousand seeds from a giant pumpkin. It doesn't look correct.
I was just on ebay where people want $5 a seed for 1000 lb examples. I'm retired and always wanted to try it, not to your extent, of course. I was wondering about the amount of light per day on the seedlings. I should read a book about this but am taking the lazy route and watching youtube.
I was totally absorbed in your video. Great job.
I don't know how I forgot to ask you for a recommendation for seeds. Do you recommend anyone? I'm not going for a record.
BTW I used to work for a manufacture of industrial equipment that made pelletizers. As the lab manager I got all kinds of manure. You name it I had it. I tested them in the garden and worm casting beat everything except for one with a non disclosure agreement but I can say coal was part.
Worms produce a hormone that helps root growth.
Thank you! I would recommend finding "Atlantic Giant" seeds. They grow the big ones.
Greetings, one profession, I also have an account that likes agriculture, picking fresh fruit😊
Help!!! Where did you source your TKO phosphite from?
What city are you in? I want to start at the right time… the weathers been so whacky!
Hello, what size steel pipe are you using? 3 Inch?
Do those marigolds keep the critters away the whole time???
Do you sell seeds?
I love you 😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃
Any nutrition
Parabéns muito bonita a sua dedicação, consegue me enviar algumas sementes ?quero semear aqui no Brasil!.
What pumpkin seeds do you use?
Atlantic Giant variety.
Has anyone tried growing a giant pumpkin on the side of a hill so all the nutrients go to the pumpkin?
Donde consigo de esas semillas?
It's called Dill's Atlantic Giant and you can get the seeds from Park Seeds. Other seed companies, also.
Living in Southeast Texas disallows me from ever being able to achieve anything near this incredible result, not that living at a more northerly latitude makes this a mean feat by any stretch of the imagination.
That said, I do wonder what would be possible with those genetics.
Texas is definitely tough growing for these, but the state record is still pretty big: 745 pounds
@@NortheastGiantPumpkin I achieved 250+ inches the third/last time that I tried (2019), _theoretically_ placing me somewhere near half of that.
I really admire the effort that it takes, in addition to the great results that you have achieved.
@@John.Flower.Productions Thank you! That's impressive! I hope you try again
@@NortheastGiantPumpkin Just another _2,100ish pounds_ to go, before I can sit with you at the big-boy table.
you made soup?
1:02:02
Give me pumpkin seeds
Don’t do that the ether pumpkin still growing
Just wondering, is it nice to eat such a big one?
No.
Too much processes and procedures indeed......but good works
Umm yeah the amount of Chem fertilizer??? I'll stick to my naturally grown pumpkins.
Without any dialogue explaining what he's doing this video is useless.
A magician never reveals his secrets.
It's not a how to video, but if you turn on subtitles there is some information
I’m curious how you got this far into UA-cam without eyesight.
Not true.
Yu did not say what you added to the soil or explain what you were doing. I learned NOTHING. Time waisted!
Is it legal to grow a pumpkin that big? It seems unnecessarily dangerous and wasteful.
XD
It's only legal on Montana, that's the only state they don't have funding for the pumpkin police
