@TheOffNDer Actually the PS3 flopped at the very beginning of its market release because of the high price, small library of games and shitty controller. But then Sony did get rid of these drawbacks. And how about Pioneer Laseractive? It also dropped because of the high price and it lacked its own games library. It did have the games from SEGA CD and PC-Engine, but these things were also expensive as hell.
The Casio Loopy's startup looks and sound like its in the 70's-Early 80's.

No console projects the amount of "Yay! :D" energy that the NeoGeo Pocket does at 35:54.
It's the soundtrack in the mind of a child who was just told they can stay up an extra thirty minutes.
And also it’s summer break, and they have their favorite game and some pizza rolls.
Fun Fact: The Philips Interactive Media logo can be seen on Hanna Barbera's Cartoon Carnival for the Philips CD-I.
NOTE: I have a Magnavox CD-I and I have this game.

Ikr! And it's basically a rendition of the Space Harrier theme. Sega went all out on the boot up animation for their system even if it was only for the Japanese market.
I think it's there to exploit the system's onboard sound, the FM module does more, much like how the C64's SID Chip was used.

The Virtual Boy sounds like some circus music.
It's more of a slow Italian waltz dance for me. Circus music is a lot more upbeat.

Didn't really scare me when I was a kid. I was captivated by how sharp and sleek it was when I first saw it. I still got it. 😀
As a kid, it only got a little unnerving to me after I encountered a disc error screen, with its red blocks and dissonant sound. Even when I knew my disc was fine, the anxiety remained in the back of my mind that I could be caught off-guard by that screen again.

The Amiga was able to produce impressive graphics for a 16 bit system, and since the CDTV was technically based on the Amiga Advanced Graphics Architecture, the same architecture used for many Amiga systems, it was able to give computer users a better graphic set. Seeing that screen must have been really impressive for '91.
