Hope Pyurolgie will do 5800x3D vs 7800x3d and versus 9800x3D comparison in the future :) don't think much of zen 5 non 3D cpu's don't think it will outpace their own 7800x3D
just upgraded from 12400f to 7800x3d with 5200mhz ram and 3070 my god is it awesome running all maps with 100% performance(customs as example before 100-120 ish to 170-200fps)increase expect streets still trashy but better
congrats! awesome upgrade right? yeah unfortunately, this last patch really hurt streets performance again, it was running very nicely right before this one
you'll probably see around a 30% increase similar to this comparison.. 5950X vs 5800X3D: ua-cam.com/video/f3Ugn09pTWA/v-deo.html btw, a 5700X3D will perform just as well as 5800X3D in Tarkov and is found for a lot less 5700X3D vs 5800X3D Tarkov: ua-cam.com/video/5wKr3QSWbJs/v-deo.html
@@pyurologie haha, I just got finished watching your exact videos you linked on this already. Great work my man, thanks for doing what you do. I settled on the 5700x3D and pulled the trigger this morning. Got it for $200 on amazon
correct, and for AM4 owners, the best bang for the buck upgrade is 5700X3D, don't need to change RAM or motherboard and see generational leaps in performance. 7800X3D is best in class, though this requires new mobo and RAM since it's on DDR5.
got myself a 7800x3d just a week ago. Paired with rx6800 it really wrecks pretty much most games out there. I even get decent performance in star citizen, which is way more of an unoptimized mess compared to tarkov. Get yourself a 16gb gpu as well, and you'll be good in most games nowadays

yeah vanilla 9000 probably will not top 7800X3D in gaming.. i'm waiting for 9000X3Ds to do something special

My 5800x seems to be dying and struggles to utilize my 4070ti in Tarkov. Thinking about getting a 5800x3D pretty soon.

heck yeah awesome. great pickup, congrats!
I have a 780”x3d and a 4070 ti super. But somehow I’m getting an average fps of 80 in the streets(1440p). Is something wrong with the settings?
this is about normal right now between 80-120 depending on area. streets performance has been down with the latest patch
Is it normal to have microstutters in streets?
depends on your hardware, but streets this patch has been rough on pretty much every setup
So it seems your cpu is way more important in Tarkov than GPU. Goodbye 2700x
