Thanks for uploading this video! I was debating on whether my investment in to getting the Thrustmaster T818 originally for PC gaming was actually worth it when I found out it couldn't connect to the PS4 straight away to play GT7, I bought the DriveHub because of this video.

1. What mount are you using the attach the T818?
2. Have you tried it with Assetto Corsa. or Assetto Corsa Competizione and F1 games? Collective Minds list of supported games on their website seems very dated.

1: I just used the desk mount on my rig. Stuck the T818 on the mount and then on the rig. I didn't need to buy anything at all from Thrustmaster, so it was perfect.
2: I haven't tried that at all, i'm more of the Forza Horizon, The Crew Motorfest and Gran Turismo 7. The only thing i want them to do, is make it work for Need for Speed Heat.
Is the drivehub still working on xbox series x? I know Microsoft put a ban on third party stuff. The brook raslution 2 doesnt work anymore.
Hey mate, just one question: I haven’t understood if on ps4 when you go for a race on Gran Turismo the wheel continue to moving by his self whiteout the possibility to set a low level of force feedback and if is impossible to drive white one hand at low speed. Also can you tell me if the force feedback work on f1 23 and assetto corsa?
Hey mate! You can adjust the force feedback on GT7, yes it did because i think it's something from Drivehub itself due to it being Beta Firmware, so they will fix it soon. I cannot tell you about F1 2023 and AC because i don't have those games yet. I'll see if i can download them, if so, i'll update you today. I promise you go answer you about if within 5 hours today.

Can you connect TH8A shifter and potentially TSS handbrake to the wheel? Is there enough ports on the drivehub to do so?
Use a regular usb hub to connect that to the Accesoires hub and you can use the Handbrake and shifter. I got both Shifters and handbrake connected. I'll upload a video tomorrow to show everything i have from my "Budget Setup" :D

I was the one who got the email from Creative Minds that they finally made it compatible, I’m excited but still unsure. I have a thrustmaster TS-PC and I really want a T818 for my PS5 and PC.I’m just not sure does it lose quality or power when using the drive hub to the ps5? Or should I just wait till the pc and ps5 version that they said they are working on
So did i, they mailed me not too long ago and told me they have a beta firmware for this, so i directly bought this from Megekko and i can finally use it. Well, the question is, are you able to sell it quickly once the version of Console comes out? If yes, do it. Because here in the netherlands, i can do that.
@@MrCantRays I mean I could sell it and I’ve waited from wheel to wheel. I waited on fanatec then TM announced. I think I’ll just wait for the console pc since I’ve waited this long. Something about always waiting for a drive hub update in case something changed turns me off for longevity
@@MobeastGaming2 I agree with that, but once thrustmaster releases it, we do have to wait for drivehub to update again in case of the opposite console etc.
whats the controller you use for the drivehub, its it a ps4 normal wired controller or a PS3 ? does it disconnect after a while ?
It's a PS4 and i use a micro usb cable to connect it, and no it does not disconnect. Do you have that issue?
Hey brother, thank you for sharing your video wow. You appear to be very, very happy. I was put off purchasing the wheel because it wasn't console compatible but your evidence is quite remarkable that it does through DriveHub.
Out of interest have your tried any Need for Speed games?

Hey brother! Thank you for your response. I am indeed happy, always wanted a Direct Drive from Thrustmaster and i can finally use it on console. It works in Need for Speed and i can make a shorts for you, if you wish. Unfortunately it has no Force Feedback YET, but i believe if we contact Collectice Minds, we can ask them to and they will add it. They worked hard to get this working and i appreciate them for making this Possible. Let me know if you want a Shorts Video for that! Cheers bro!
@@MrCantRays Hey bruv and thank you for your reply and fantastic communication. Yes please ever since been a teenager I've loved the Need for Speed games, they go back over 25years now as you know. Yes we know they're not a sim as such but great arcade fun nevertheless, my favorite is NFS Hot Persuit but they all come in a close 2nd tbh. I know most of them if not all are not wheel compatible except for one I think but when I had a Logitech wheel several years ago I could play NFS through a cross hair convertor similar to a DriveHub box, only a slight rumble through the wheel though as it was only mimicking the hand-held controller. I'd love the use DriveHub on my new Thrustmaster set up now. Yes please NFS shorts would be fabulous and very much appreciated sir. Yes it would be perfect if collective minds could apply force feedback in 2024. I've subscribed to your channel so please keep in touch bro.
@@markweatherall7437 You probably had the Raesnow S1, am i right? I used that one with the T300 RS Last year. Need for speed is 1 of the best racing games i wholeheartedly agree. Just wondering if you have a video on how you would connect a wired headset or buttkicker to the Drive Hub Adapter? Headset doesn’t work in XBox Controller Headset Jack and thinking of buying a Buttkicker for the rig but can’t see how this would work either?

Hey bro, i'll let you know how to as soon as i get home. I think the wired headset should be connected to a usb that is connected to a hub that is in the accesories hub of the drivehub. Sounds like a lot but it's quite easy. That goes for the buttkicker as well.
@@MrCantRays Yes please let me know.. The headset wire cable has a 3.5mm jack and believe the buttkicker would be the same? Just curious how you would get this to work using the USB Accessories port on the adapter?

Hey man hope all is well.
I got the drive hub and have the t818 with the TLCM pedals. I’ve wired everything up properly, the t818 and wheel light up (all green lights on back of drive hub) except the wheel/pedals won’t do anything.
I’m using an Xbox Series X and Forza and F1 both recognize a Logitech controller.
Now here’s my questions:
I have the Ferrari SF1000 wheel would that cause a problem? (I doubt it)
And
The led display on my drive hub is showing the figure 8 pattern (for race mode) but I noticed yours is a solid 0 (play mode I believe). I’ve tried changing it by holding the P1 button on it when turning it on but nothing changes.
Is yours showing the 0 or the figure 8 pattern on the drive hub? And have you gotten it working with series X?

Hey brother! I'm doing fine, i hope you are too.
The drivehub should be updated, you need the firmware tool to upgrade the firmware to the latest Beta. Do not upgrade the firm automaticly, but manually. This will allow you to find the beta firmware Version 3 when you scroll upwards. And the SF1000 will not be a problem since the drivehub recognizes it. I do recommend using a regular Xbox controller for the drivehub, since that's the controller it needs, to recognize the console and allow it to work.
So by upgrading the firmware, your 8 figure will turn into a 0 for Playmode like mine. And i'm using it on my series X. Check out my video, you will see i have a Series X.

@@slimepig5667 Have you seen my video? It works for Xbox and Playstation now, you have to download the Betafirmware when connecting the DriveHub.
@@slimepig5667 My DriveHub arrived today and I can confirm, as long as you install the latest beta firmware, it works flawlessly on my T818 with my SF1000. Cheers @MrCantRays!

But how do you use the shifter and the hand, because I have tgt 2 completely and I don't know if the tmhub can be connected to abazis and will it work with it, because it's funny that tm didn't release the dd for ps5
You use the usb cable that with either your tssh or th8s to plug one into the drive hub and the other into the t-gt ii no tmhub needed.

You can just update it. I didn't see your reply in my comment section. My apologies for not being able to reply earlier. If you update the firmware to the 3rd betafirmware, it should work just fine. If you wish to get some help if you can't figure it out, send me a message.

@@Cnlne I don't experience any delay and the forcefeedback is INSANE! Yes ofcourse, i have the TLCM myself.
Looks good m8... Can you change the torque in game? I wanna get this for my Asetek Forte but don't wanna be stuck at full torque at 100%
Thank you mate. Yes you can do that, i have done it and made my Force Feedback a bit softer. Otherwise, i'll have bigger arms than Arnold Schwarzenegger xD. Forcefeedback is STRONG on this one.

@@MrCantRays no I don't. I was going to buy one, but thought better ask support if it supported my wheelbase as its wasn't listed and support told me it isn't supported. At that point there is no reason to get one unless they start supporting it.
@@timreeves6901 Aw that sucks bro. 18 Nm of torque and not being able to use it the way you want to should not make you happy. Did they give you an answer if it may come as a support or did they say it's not supported and that's it?

Bro, it is already confirmed. Check my livestreams, it works perfectly. As far as i know, you can upgrade the firmware and it will work just fine like any other console that uses it. I use the T818 with both GT7 and FH5. And if Drivehub fixed the issue with The Crew Motorfest, i'll start streaming that too.

Hey MrCantRays I finally got my sim setup with Thrustmaster T818 Wheelbase and T-LCM Pedals.. I purchase the Creative Minds DriveHub however can’t get it working on either PS5 or XBox console?? Ive updated the Drive Hub but it still doesn’t work?? Any suggestions my friend??
@@MDPCORP Hey Bro! What you need to get it to work is the Beta Firmware. You updated the Drivehub but you did not choose Manual installation, to scroll upwards to get the BetaFirmWare 3. If you don't know how to do it, let me know. I'll upload a Tutorial Video.

I was about to invest in a T818 until I heard that happened in the last day or so
Unfortunatly i figured that out yesterday the hard way. It connects but the wheel does not respond. So, we need to contact Collective Minds from Drivehub again and i will do that today. I'll even record that tonight before i'll stream. No worries bro, it will be fixed.
As soon as i got more news, i'll let you know. I'll drop a message here in about 10 hours from now on. I'm at work right now and will be done in 8.5 hours plus 1 hour traffic most likely if not more.

@@MrCantRays Thanks a lot. I am connecting the T818 to my Drivehub, and my PS4 and official PS4 controller. This worked perfectly with my Thrustmaster TS-XW. But now with the T818 nothing is working, the wheel isn't recognized by the Drivehub (I get that spinning infinity symbol, and not the 0, after it detects my handbrake and shifter, but doesn't detect the wheel). I've updated the T818 to frimware v6, and Drivehub to the beta 28, but I can't get this to work.
@@ryanblumenow That's weird, what i think, is maybe it's not in racemode. So normaly when you press the Right button before you connect it to the PC to update the firmware, try the left and that should put it in Racemode and recognise the wheel.
How do you connect this all up to get it working?

2.1. Beta 28 is the version right now, this was Version 3 when i just released the video 4 + months ago.

I know right xD But the issue has been solved. We got BetaFirmware 2.1. 14 now if there isn't a new 1 already. And that pretty much solved the steering wheel from going all nuts xD

That i don't know yet. But as far as i'm concerned, i'm fine with it now until the Console Direct Drive comes.

It's working fine. The thing is, it's running on BetaFirmware right now. So it's testing + trial and error.
