2:11:25 When my mom was in labor with me, she ended up saying something like "I don't care, you can keep him. Just get him out of me!" They immediately starting taking me into another room and she goes "Um, I wasn't being serious." They say "We know, we just need to check him out."
Her blood pressure was high during labor, so they had to do some additional tests on me to make sure nothing was wrong.
Oh and I think for my brother, they gave her the anesthesia and was telling her symptoms of a potential overdose that she should tell them about immediately. She says "I smell bacon." This is not a side effect, but my dad was eating a breakfast sandwich from McDonalds.

    The addicted baby story
When a baby is born, paper work is usually done really fast, like the next day, how did his name not end up in the birth certificate? He wouldn't have had to adopt the baby as, legally it would've been his

My mother was one of 7 siblings. She has one brother who looks extremely different from the rest of the family. He has dusky lips, am olive complexion and very dark brown hair. He dropped by to visit me in military housing many years ago, and we lived on a court of row houses. Everybody wanted to know who the (slur for someone born in Pakistan) was who came to visit me. The family story is that we have "Black Irish" in our heritage. I dug back eight generations in my family history on both sides of my Mother's ancestry, and there were no such people in the line on either side. Interesting!

This happened to my friend. She had horrible headaches all the time. She went to the doctors many times and they kept sending her home saying it was nothing, she was fine. Turns out they were mini strokes. Didn’t find out till she almost died from a big stroke. Less then a year later she died from a stroke. 😥. It’s been almost a year...

Was in the military. It took them 11 months to diagnose me with a labral tear in my right hip (6 months to do the MRI, 5 months to go over the results of the MRI with the hip specialist). This was in 2018. The tear happened in 2016. Now here I am over 5 years later and I finally have an appointment with orthopedics in a week to see about surgery. I'm no longer in the military. It took a year for the VA to assign me to a medical clinic and give me a provider. Within 10 minutes of talking to my new doc, she put in a referral for a MRI. Less than a month later and we had the follow up and she referred me straight to orthopedics because the MRI showed the same thing as the one I'd had 3 years prior. I love my new doctor because she actually listens to me. (I'm 23. Five years of dealing with a labral tear is hell. Can't do stairs, can't even walk half a mile. Glad to finally be getting somewhere.)

It may help to get shoes that are prescribed/low impact. Some people don’t think that a shoe’s fit matters but it does have an effect on the feet, ankles and legs over time. The bottom of shoes are like fingerprints cause where weight is distributed is where the tread is worn out at.

I was a c section baby. My mom was in pain for hours because my head got stuck in her pelvis. Our blood pressure kept going up and down for hours but the doctors refused to do the c section. It took my father taking the doctor aside and threatening legal action if they let us ( My mother and I) both die/get critically injured. Thankfully both me and my mother came out of surgery fine, much to my father's relief.

Had whooping cough and pneumonia at the same time. Caused scarring and a severe lung infection when I was 16. They misdiagnosed me to the point I was on oxygen and they had to clean my lungs out - it looked like road tar. I am 29 now and still have medical issues. Interestingly, all of my doctors who screwed up... *retired immediately after I got properly diagnosed.* 👀 I should have sued.

My aunt works at Nationwide Children's in Cincinnati, and she met a woman who wanted to name her baby Meconio, because she thought the name was "very unique". My aunt tried to talk her out of it, but the woman insisted. So now there's a baby somewhere in Cincinnati who's named after in-utero shit.

I remember when I was accused of being the father... they were reeeeally grasping at straws. I'm white, the girl was white. But the baby? Black as the star football quarterback. Funny part was I got death threat letters... with complimentary finger prints with the help of the resource officer and baby powder! I got a test result and A: sent it to all dah students and B: most of the students (given what they wrote) a warrent to appear in court. They got sentenced with community service. Was never touched in my seinor year and screwed up a lot of schalorships.
Then some did it again as adults and then they got jail time after grad. Because then they were old enough.

I was super sick with sever abdominal pain, unable to eat for over a month, dehydrated ect. Er sent me home and treated me like a drug seeker.. I was back 2 days later and they said they did test and I was fine just a crohn's flare. No one was listening to me and I told my surgeon who did my colon resection and other surgeries years before and he opened me up and I had scar tissue blocking the blood supply to my intestines.. he said if I went much longer I would have gone septic... I was diagnosed with "dehydration and constipation" after going to the hospital with horrible stomach cramping and an inability to eat. I had projectile vomited multiple occasions, coughed up blood, couldn't pass stool, couldn't eat, had stomach cramps, and excessive amounts of gas. They gave me an enema and sent me home, only for me to wake up early the next day feeling heart attack level pain and like my insides were being stabbed. Turned out I had a stomach ulcer which led to a perforation and I wound up having to be put on insane amounts of morphine as well as a laparoscopy. There was a congealing brown fluid in my stomach as well as blood. That was really fucking awful and I'm pretty salty that they didn't catch the ulcer at the first hospital.

When I was pregnant with my twins, I met a woman pregnant with triplets. She was having a hard time because she was deeply religious, and her husband didn't believe the babies were his because of his vasectomy. The doctors kept telling him to reserve judgement because vasectomies are not 100% He was going around town bad-mouthing her to anyone who would listen and the things said were very hurtful. Turned out that we were both on the same type of birth control, and it had been recalled due to a high incidence of multiple birth pregnancies. She was able to forgive him and stay with him.

A few months ago i cut my hand with a scissor, so i ended up to ER, because it was pretty deep and i knew i needed stitches. In comes the nurse and because the way it happened was so weird i don't think she believed me, so she keeps asking me weird questions until i figured she thought someone did that to me, so i told her to not worry i don't need someone to abuse me, i just do a great job on doing stuff like that to myself and i started to tell her all the other crazy "accidents" i got myself in to. Worst tripping and braking an arm.
But i am glad they actually do that this days, it shows some of them do care and some just like to jump to conclusions i guess.

Ghhhgngngnhh that allergic to the antibiotic one pisses me off so much. I had the same thing happen-my primary care kept giving me an antibiotic for frequent ear infections and cases of strep throat (I don’t share drinks, I’m just a carrier for the bacteria and get it all the damn time). My first two days on the antibiotic are usually fine, but day three and onward after it’s built up in my system I start having a severe reaction and can’t even get water to stay longer than 15 minutes in my system. I kept bringing this up to my primary care, but she kept telling me that it wasn’t an allergy, it was just a side effect and that “undesirable side effects aren’t the same thing as allergies.”
After I wound up in the ER for the third time due to severe dehydration from vomiting so much the ER Doctor was absolutely appalled that they kept giving me this antibiotic after I had a history of having such a severe reaction to it. He put in my chart that I should never be given this antibiotic ever again because I am in fact allergic to it.
It’s not even like it’s a specialized antibiotic. It’s a broad spectrum antibiotic that treats a wide range of things and those things have about a dozen other antibiotics that also work.

    The six finger one...
(Yes I know the mother then admitted to cheating)
But both parents can have normal five finger hands and can still have children born with extra digits.
It happened to both my older and younger brothers on their hands and feet.
It was due to a genetic condition that both my father and mother carried the recessive genes for.
It is more common in males than females which is why it skipped over me.
But I do carry the recessive gene so if I have kids I can pass it on to them.

If you don't know your blood type and you have a doctor that you go see and they draw your blood ask them out right hey what is my blood type and memorize it that way if something happens for example let's say you're in a bad car wreck let's say you flip your car several times your cell phone is God knows where there goes calling your family you're on conscious by the grace of God or fading in and out of consciousness because you wore your seatbelt and your airbag went off and paramedics are on the same you can at least tell them hey my blood type is this!
And try to keep a medication list in your wallet / purseas well knowing your blood type could save your life by itself and having a medication list and updated one updated each time you get a new medication or come off of a medication could also save your life!
Also keep a spare medication list or two of them one of the extra ones in your glove box of your vehicle the second one under your spare tire in the trunk and let your friends and family know the ones you can trust anyway that way if you are ever found unconscious they're not going to be frantically tearing your house apart looking for your medication / medications , and the reason why you would want two copies of your medication list in your vehicle besides the one in your wallet and or purse is just in case like the cell phone got only knows where it is you can tell whomever on the accident scene there's a medication list in the glove box and one in the trunk under the spare tire. Now sometimes in a rollover crash the glove box flies open and all its contents gets scattered however if you have a medication list under your spare tire and put your spare tire back how it's supposed to be locked down that medication list is going to be right where it's supposed to be under your spare tire, while you are still fading in and out of consciousness but now they know who you are and what medications you are on and most importantly your blood type, and now they can start treating you immediately and get in contact with your family especially if you put your family's contact information on the back of your medication list. As an example in the event something happens to me please contact my mom dad or so and so at xxx-xxx-xxxx number and below that I have a list of what you are allergic to so that way they don't accidentally give you something that will throw you into anaphylactic shock which is in some cases is fatal! Having all this information is crucial, instead of you coming in as a John Doe or a Jane Doe because I know a few people who does not like to have their wallet in their pocket and once again in a rollover vehicle it'll go flying and only God knows where it's at!
And if you know a few of the local officers in your area and if you are on good terms with said officers tell them where your medication list is show them said medication list with all the information that's on it and let them know that you have two of them and where they are so if you are ever unconscious and they happen to roll up on your accident scene they know who you are they know where to look to get the information that's going to save your life!
I have a good rappor with the local offices they know who I am and where the spare key's are to my house (3) and where the spare key is to my truck (1)
I have a lot of medical issues I'm also gearing up for surgery soon to remove a larg tumor out of my back and a 15cm Mass out of my left bicep ( yes I am scared, but it is what it is.)
Also keep a copy of your medication list in your freezer it's one of the only things that will survive a house fire the fire department told me about that!
And if you're one of these people who accidentally locked yourself out of your vehicle do yourself a favor go get you one of these door keys a cheapo Copy and get a zip tie it to the bottom of your radiator hose of your vehicle and each time you use it immediately put it back it only takes 30 seconds to put it back it's better than spending $150 for a service call to get you back in your vehicle! And don't use those damn magnetic key holders because you hit a big bump guess what your keys laying somewhere God knows where on the side of the road when you need it needless to say it's out of your reach!
And you can do the same thing with your door key to your house! Or you can secure it under the hood of your vehicle with another zip tie I mean who's going to look for your house key under your hood of your car truck SUV whatever! I truly hope that this helps you and someone you know save money on the key and getting back in to what ever you need, and the other medical stuff I hope that it saves your life and or the life of someone that you love/ but I truly hope that you will never ever have to use it but will have it for just in case purposes!
Also tell your friends and family how much they mean to you, how important they are and how much you love them even if it's to just to say HI it could be the mental health boost that they really need, because you never know what is going on in someone's head and if they are just putting on a brave face around everyone but are extremely depressed. Be the one who reaches out and say hey I'm thinking about you ☺️!

There's a reddit story where a white couple has a black baby, the mother has no idea wtf is happening and swears she didn't cheat the husband goes home, destroys the nursery and bad mouths her to everyone and in social media. Well, they get a DNA test or a cousin gets a 23 and me or something, turns out the husband is the father, and that both of them have black in them. Someone grandma had an affair with a black man but the baby was white passing and the wife was adopted or something.
Anyways, the husband apologizes, tries to make her come home, but she won't, she doesn't even let him be unsupervised with their baby because I'm his social media, he went on a racist rant, calling their baby an n word and a welfare queen and things like that.
He asked the wife what she wanted in the nursery and she said she already had what she wanted in there and some thing we're irreplaceable.
Anyways, she goes back home, makes him leave and she files for a divorce ash she now hates him, she doesn't love him anymore.
Anyways, all I could think was, this is crazy because it means our babies can look like anyone in our genetic background and not look like either parent and I wonder how many times crazy things like this happened before DNA testing, or even now?

Anyway i would look after him while she worked so he was basically with me 24/7 occasionally i would stop in and see my husband at work everyone knew he was our god son but a new woman who happened to have taken a real liking to my husband decided she was going tell him he was not the baby's father. And he should get rid of me and look for a good woman. He the ever prankster decided to play it up. Everyone jumped in and then busted out laughing. The next day she was transferred. That was 10yrs ago and we still laugh at it. Ladies becareful of making judgment you can end up with egg on your face.

" Removed accidental slur, sorry! " I am guessing they said " tranny " instead of transgender. Unless they said transgender and somebody flew off the handle and called that a slur, because that's not even a slur... that's a term defined from the very latin root words the whole procedure derives it's name from. Trans, to change. Gender, your sexual identity both physically and mentally in the case of the procedure. Soooo... I'unno. Hopefully Reddit isn't turning into second Twitter. I don't want it to turn into yet another Twitter echo chamber. I don't use Reddit, but the last thing we need is more Twitter zombies.

I have never heard of a first-time mother pushing 10 to 30 minutes. First time mothers can always expect 2 to 3 hours. Maybe the second one if you're lucky.
And most first births are going to be near 24 hours
