New Legend: Jester This is the Leaked Legend Jester who was a Simulacrum character from titanfall 2. He has a very interesting and fun set of abilities.
This only backs up his claim because in Titanfall lore it states that only simulacrums can use stim and phase shift because of their effect on the human body take the fact octanes a junkie and wraiths a looney tune as even more evidence if you wish
as a mirage main this just seems like a better mirage. 3 spectres that can actually shoot are always gonna be a better distraction than 1 decoy. mirages ult is greedy it only does something for himself jesters is great for retreating with you team but i kinda think his passive should be changed and just give mine grenades to fuse i feel like it suits him better
Yeah I mentioned it before. Mirage just being able to summon decoys of only himself that get stuck or die on everything while Jester could possibly summon specters that actually shoot sounds like a much better decoy that actually achieves something before disintegrating from reality lol
I kinda think if u are already good at with mirage stick to him. Jester ult would unlock new a new dimension to bamboozle tech combos. Just wondering who would be good to fill the last spot and have a cool trickery team.

a trio using this guys ult, rev's totem and octanes jump pad could do some serious work without any risk. pop down the totem and the pad, then drop the Jester ult and start or 3rd party an engagement from across the map, plus you could protect your position with rewired grenades
I think his passive needs to have a timer and a warning sound before it goes off. Having it act like an actual mine blowing up instantly you have the best defensive legend in the game who isn’t even a defender. A grenade going off does 100 something damage or arc stars that insta slow and rip all shields would be overpowered plus if you could place multiple in one spot insta kill an entire squad that got cocky and rushed together. No legend defensive wise has that much potential at knocking players out and this is going to be insane. Unless the mine version does less damage and can’t be stacked near other mines then insta exploding would be broken and again he’d be the best defense non defense legend in the game.
Even without insta exploding, it guarantees the enemies won’t be at that location and when/if they are, it detects them and now you know where they are.
I've been wishing for an invsible legend ever since they removed it from mirage, though I wasn't expecting this, I kinda wanted it to be like valk's jetpack or the spy's invis watch from TF2 (2007). completely personal tactical, has a timer and regens when visible, you need to manually go out of cloak in order to shoot/heal/etc. and become blury when you bump into enemies... Tbh, even in this leak, the specter and ult abilities seem switched to me, makes no sense how a drop pod of specters would be a tactical.. surely it's the other way around and maybe the cloak field will be smaller than shown...

Everybody knows about the tracking squad of Bloodhound, Crypto & Seer, like there's literally no escaping them. Now imagine an illusion dream squad, consisting Mirage, Jester and someone else that can trick players or be very stealthy, Wraith unfortunately wouldn't make the cut for thus squad cuz her Phasing tactical is very recognizable & noticeable. What If Jester pops his invisible dome, and when Mirage leaves it he's invisible already, then with perfect timing Mirage uses his Ultimate with 2 seconds left of Jester's invisibility, so when it where's off enemy players around you would see decoys appear out of nowhere throwing them off and wasting their bullets like they usually do. Giving the Illusion squad the window to take out as many enemies in sight. That Dream illusion squad would be OP as hell.
I don’t know about his kit so far, they’re all so different and don’t compliment each other at all, though I guess we already have a few legends with diverse kits. But his passive should be given to fuse or a new defensive legend and his tactical and ultimate sound like they’ll make Mirage pointless.
The enemys only option is to blind fire into his ult to try and hit them as they fly away. Not to mention he can call in the specter's to cover the retreat
With the ult wouldn't it be pretty op with the mirage clones if they become invisible because you hear the footsteps from the mirage clone and they will follow that

I would really like to play as him, so I hope he becomes season 14's legend. And I think there will be spectres in the season 13 map, so he would be perfect for season 14.
The only problem is that the passive could be changed but I hope it can stick on walls but has the noticeable effect with crypto's drone so that they could keep it.
the ultimate is like fades in apex mobile u can throw if everyone is affected with it but u move much faster and can pin the enemy while in the fate chamber

I would love for this to be real, unique passive which will definitely help out in later zones. the spectre drop is probably more akin to mirages ability to cause a lot of chaos. The ultimate is something I've always wanted in apex.
tbh i had made a apex legend oc / concept that that the legend can call specter units to aid him as his ult and his tactical is weapon jam basically throws a thing that jams guns for 3-5 seconds (u can still use nades and abilities)
As a defensive player frags on the side of door frames will be very powerful, not to mention if you're being chased throwing nades at your feet while running away in narrow pathways will definitely slow people down.
I'm guessing the spektres will just be the same kind of ones spawned in the armory when activated with a semi random loudout. 3 aren't too dangerous but definitely enough to at least draw some fire or re-engage after someone has disengaged from the firefight to recover. I really like the concept!
Jester still looks like the actual Phase Shift pilots in Titanfall 2, which I love. Finally something that comes straight from Titanfall. The abilities having nothing to do with an actual phase shift pilot bothers me quite a bit, but it's still pretty cool and if it wasn't for the fact that it's supposed to be a phase shift character, the abilities would be some of the coolest I think we've seen. It's a very all-round type of loadout. Aggressive, defensive, and can sort of be a lockdown character with the passive grenade ability.
Wow that cloak shield paired up with a mirage ult for a hard push on a squad would be terrifying. Spectre drop would be great for getting people out from cover as you can drop it behind them and push from the front.
I love how so many of the apex creators are leaking different legends and some are speaking out about how leaks are bad. Not sure if EA had a hand in this, if this was just coincidence and whatever... either way, it's pretty cool.
I always thought Octane was Jester lol it’s the legs. I knew there was a pilot with the robot legs. Granted at the time I didn’t know he was a full robot. Man old memories! Kinda sucks to see they’re giving him a full invis for 6 seconds while mirages invis got the nerf.
I like it. If you get stuck in a area with no cover alt, disappear then alt out with Valkery. Or mess with people when throwing a heat shield and disappear for safe healing, would interesting to see if u could dup bloodhound with it.

This character seems is extremely powerful in final rings. Throwing a buncha mines in the final circle then dropping a specter pod to help fight the final teams and finally popping ult so enemies can’t hit you. My best teammate for Jester would be Fuse, as Fuse can carry more grenades per slot he can allow jester with a lot more grenades to set mines down without taking sacrificing slot space. Good synergy teams might have Newcastle, Rampart, Caustic, Fuse, Bangalore. Possibly Wattson, Gibby, Loba, Crypto, and Revenant. Jester’s abilities compliment the abilities of these legends well or make up for their weakness. Example Newcastle and rampart creating a fortress to defend from but jester can set mines ahead of the fortress to stop a frontal assault or punish those that still push. They compliment eachother to make a killzone all from the safety of of a fortress of strong barricades and amped cover. However droppin specters go protect crypto, or the death totem from revenant or even on gibby’s dome shield so your don’t have to risk peeking out the shield first to do damage Counters would be pathfinder, bloodhound(if they can scan for the mines), octane if he can outrun the detonation or jump over it, mirage cause he can decoy and area to see if it’s safe, Loba and Ash cause they can teleport past, valk can fly over, wraith can void through My favorite set up ideas so far are Newcastle, Rampart, Jester. To create the killzone/fortress Caustic, Jester, Wattson. They all can make traps and turn any enclosed space into a madhouse Bangalore, Valk, jester. If at any point you need to get away you can pop smoke and drop mines as well. Drop specters and use valk ult to escape. Pretty much pulling a bamboozle on an approaching team they’ll be fighting specters thinking it’s use in the smoke and dealing with mines while you escape during the chaos Lastly is Fuse, Jester, and whoever else. Fuse being able to stack grenades for Jester plus Fuse ult trapping enemies inside fire and Jester able to drop specters on top of them force them to fight the specters while taking damage from your team outside the fire or escape the fire and take damage from the team fully. Jester reading these abilities seems really strong and an honorable mention to invisible revives from lifeline in his ult but tbh the character seems pretty strong and would likely be a balancing nightmare. Either the mines deal less damage than regular throwables so it’s used less aside from in buildings or running from players , specters are too weak in which why take the time to drop them if they don’t help. Only fair thing it seems is the invisibility but I wonder if it’s like a faded cloak or full invisibility. Either way it’s countered by Seer’s ult

Yeah feels a lot more like demo and sticky traps then a mine, only difference is you don’t respawn in apex

However droppin specters go protect crypto, or the death totem from revenant or even on gibby’s dome shield so your don’t have to risk peeking out the shield first to do damage
Counters would be pathfinder, bloodhound(if they can scan for the mines), octane if he can outrun the detonation or jump over it, mirage cause he can decoy and area to see if it’s safe, Loba and Ash cause they can teleport past, valk can fly over, wraith can void through
My favorite set up ideas so far are Newcastle, Rampart, Jester. To create the killzone/fortress
Caustic, Jester, Wattson. They all can make traps and turn any enclosed space into a madhouse
Bangalore, Valk, jester. If at any point you need to get away you can pop smoke and drop mines as well. Drop specters and use valk ult to escape. Pretty much pulling a bamboozle on an approaching team they’ll be fighting specters thinking it’s use in the smoke and dealing with mines while you escape during the chaos
Lastly is Fuse, Jester, and whoever else. Fuse being able to stack grenades for Jester plus Fuse ult trapping enemies inside fire and Jester able to drop specters on top of them force them to fight the specters while taking damage from your team outside the fire or escape the fire and take damage from the team fully.
Jester reading these abilities seems really strong and an honorable mention to invisible revives from lifeline in his ult but tbh the character seems pretty strong and would likely be a balancing nightmare. Either the mines deal less damage than regular throwables so it’s used less aside from in buildings or running from players , specters are too weak in which why take the time to drop them if they don’t help. Only fair thing it seems is the invisibility but I wonder if it’s like a faded cloak or full invisibility. Either way it’s countered by Seer’s ult
