Seeing how much Octane and Che talked in the past really is so exhilarating to see, how they've always been there for each other.

Nah the series is focused on Apex Legends battle royale instead of the Legends BackStory.

There they find a recording that Octane's father actually built his empire bcz he wanted his child to have a better future and that he loved his son. Now LL finds even wierder doc that is Oct;s dad;s death certificate meaning he has been dead for year and another masked man has been in his place. LL wants to out his secret but Oct is moved by the news that his real dad loved him and prevents LL from outing his dad by burning the death cert. A quarrel ensues and LL says smthn like she could have saved twice as many ppl without oct and Oct says smthn like she is jealous bcz his dad actually loved him.
I love how when Octane started talking in his streamer voice and showed the camera to Mr. Sylva he just lowered his face in disappointment and embarrassment like "So this is my son..."

Anyone else loved seeing how Octane and Lifeline interacted outside and before both they joined the Apex Games. Seems like Lifeline was always a badass. Really would love a series about everyone time before the games. Edit: Didn't think i would need to explain but I mean we get snippets of their life and why the joined the games I want something to fill the gap. Example: Crypto on the run looking for his sister Wraith exploring this new strange world to Her. Valkyrie time as a bounty hunter Seer underground fights Mirage and his mom stuff like that.

as a lifeline main, when someone pick Octane and we play well and maybe get a dub, I get a warm vibe. :)

For a Netflix show to happens it’s gonna take a lot of paperwork and time possibly a couple of years for them to ground it smoothly into an animated show. But if constructed well it will be like milk and Oreos perfect

I love how Octane doesn't have a plan but also does at the same time, it fits him perfectly.
If there's ever a tv series of Apex, this is what should be used as a reference. It's a bit artistic in the shaders but the characters still look very realistic and alive, with realistic animations (as opposed to overexaggerated disney kind of animation). And the environments look sick. Just a perfect short, love it
Just when I thought I couldn't love Octane more. The way they animate him is amazing, I love how there isn't a single scene where he's sitting still. His energy is fantastic. Amazing short.
Their friendship here is heartwarming. Makes it even more sad to know what happened in the last Short where they kind of fell apart.

I’ve only been playing Apex for over a year and I don’t really understand anything in the lore, but Lifeline was immediately my favorite as a team healer. Looking up information about her character and backstory a year ago made me love her even more. And this story made me love her even MORE! Also Octane!
I love how they gave Lifelines drone so much personality!
This is one of the best looking stories they've put out. And it really tied together the Che - Silva dynamic more than the games had been doing and in less time than the comics have taken to try and do so.

Lifeline is the strongest legend, because she stood against her own family who were getting rich off the blood and land of innocent people in the frontier. She put her principles and morality before everything, and that’s the bravest thing anyone can do.

@@RM-sy4qd the thing attached to his back/on his leg in game is his dialysis machine. Octane literally uses so much stim that he has to remained hooked up to it constantly so he can stay alive and even then there's so much residue that it works constantly. The thing actively filters his blood 24/7, that's why he has the healing passive in game.
Definitely my favorite one so far. I really imagined octane to look completely different with all of his legendary skins. So seeing his face unlocks a lot of potential to imagine what he'll look like next.

I love the direction this company is taking the storytelling aspect of the game world. Its becoming increasingly immersive and you fall for the same old character with new investments. Marvel, Riot and now Respawn. Great stuff you guys!

If the animations actually indicated buffs she'd be getting super powerful. In this animation alone she used the drone to shock enemies, carry supplies, and supercharge a vehicle. Imagine if she could do all that in game.

Apex was supposed to be a fresh start, but no matter how my cinematic I watch, there's always the same ending. Everything falls apart, and I end up with no mirage cinematic.
They seriously need their own animated series, so good!
I always loved the effort Respawn is making to to connect players with their legends, it makes it more than just a character with a picture. I can't wait to see if there are new voice lines between them!

@@Aaronxxi I know myself and a entire group of people I’ve talked to in discord and reddit Apex Legends forums have said they’ve never had the audio issue that a lot of people are experiencing or perhaps it’s a hardware issue?? Idk but i’ve never had the issue
I use to have audio issues before I realized in the audio setting if the sound is set to default instead of your connected headset you won’t get 3d audio, game changer

This was my favorite Stories from the Outlands so far! I've loved them all but it felt really good getting more lore and background on legends we've known since Apex's launch.
These animations single handedly keep me playing apex . Even when I get bored and go months without playing these trailers push me back into the mix

This 8 minute video is higher quality and more entertaining than most movies that are being released in 2022. And this is a battle royale game. I didn’t think it was possible to make movie quality animations and have an amazing game at the same time. Keep it up Apex Legends!

What's cool is that I doubt this had the same deadlines as trailers for new seasons, since it concerns existing characters and a story that's not part of a current or upcoming season. I imagine they had the time needed to just make it look awesome.
