Just give her swordcore ultimate from the final fantasy event and make her tactical her portal but reduce it to 50m and give it a 30 second cooldown

I've been saying this for seasons now. All you gotta to to "fix" ash as she is is to,
1) make her passive more active. 9/10 times the death boxes I come upon are there because of me.
2) give her ultimate an additional charge and make it an omnidirectional cast. Her ultimate wouldn't have so many issues if it wasn't magnetized to the floor, making me nip a box 2 feet in front of me rather than the escape that I planned for. Also, imagine the flexibility of 2 charges of a one direction portal.
Please NO! Ash is fine the way she is now, her ult just needs a bit more accuracy.
I main ash and I welcome changes or if it stays I don't mind

all the ult needs is instant momentum when you come out of it. Let it shoot you out like a water slide you have momentum enough for a slide jump instantly once you go through. It would be very strong, being able to port on someone and not just be a sitting duck for a moment once you come out but if they are happy with allowing horizon to remain busted for over two years no reason ash cant get a strong buff.

Ash is fine the way she is. Maybe rework the way her Ult indicates/picks where the cursor is so it's smoother, but keep th abilities the same!
Lifeline doesn't need a rework either. Just add a jump tower or respawn becon to her Ult and boom
Ash is underrated and her kit doesn't need to go. All her changes so far have been great, and her ult can be really usefull in certain situations. I just don't want her worse.

No she is just bad. It’s not a matter of her kit not being used well even when her kit is used to its best potential a average player will destroy her if they use a meta character

When half the pros who play her acknowledge she’s bad and still play her for fun is it because they can’t use her or mechanically the character is bad. Ash mechanically is a bad character in the current state of the game.

The fact that there is a notification from her passive is SO dumb. As the enemy you know how often ill get that notification and now i know exactly where they are and just turn back around and go kill them
Ash only needs buff NO rework. Make her tether stun a second or two longer and have a bit stronger pull and she’s perfect. REWORK her passive cause most of the time “the attackers” are already dead or at least make it live pings like CoD advance UAV

I agree with this. I've been an ash main since she came out and ever since her tac buffs, her passive is the most unreliable part of her kit.
I actually feel like I make an impact with her tac and ult, but never her passive
I'd say all her passive needs is to have the animation sped up significantly and remove the notification that you're scanned by ash. Tact doesn't need any major buffs any more it just needs to work in close range.
I do like the idea of live ping but it needs to be done carefully.

honestly! i mean the snares are okay but she’s pretty much a skirmisher already. i feel we’d have way too many skirmishers that way though. it would be nice if her passive was reworked

I like it, give her a nerfed version of the buster sword ult as her ult 👍🏼 I would miss her snare, but I miss Rev's moveset as well so oh well 😔
I definitely think you could make it so the legends have different movesets they can choose from. I've been saying it for a while. If you can give different abilities based on leveling up then you can just give different movesets as well. The readability is already kind of gone with the upgraded abilities. So may as well lean into it.

I love ashes snare. My favorite ability in the game. Love running teams down with the double snare. Then the last guy who ain’t snared runs away. Then You kill him too😂
Making her arc snare lock people in a smaller radius and slow their movement will just make it so much better. Also longer ult range.

I am scared of what the Ash rework will be as an Ash main. I fell in love her entire kit, and idk if I'll be able to enjoy playing her if her phase breach and snare are completely replaced.

Passive is the one thing that needs to go the most. A passive that’s reliant on something you can’t control that is a diet recon ability is not a good ability.
I just want to be able to scan the deathbox I cause to track down the lifeline that ran away to craft their teammates' banners. That would add some consistency at least.
Man I hope akimbo isn't locked behind a hop up. I don't want to spend 25 minutes looking for a golden chee-zit only to die in the process and the only time I'll ever find one is when I don't have a p20 to put it on.

I think these changes would make Ash viable and very fun/competitive.
1. Give her Ult the same mechanic as Pathfinder for accuracy on placement
2. Make her purple perks her blue
3. Give her new level 3 perks where you choose from an Ult cooldown or an extended Ult distance
* side not wouldn’t be opposed to mixing the perks between levels
If they give ash a cheesy ass buster sword like ult I will uninstall Apex Legends and go back to Duty. No hesitation. I couldn’t wait for the end of that ltm.

My hopes right now. Ash should get a tactical dash ability and sword melee similar to buster sword ltm with blue fire waves like ger Ronin titan. Lifeline old ultimate CP made into a Survival item. I also hope the void weapons are an ammo type that is for arrow/explosive/knife based weapons that regenerate ammo, fixing all floor loot problems
Remember ash is a assault legend. She probably wont be getting a movement based tac. But well we have to wait and see
@@ashura_VFX yeah but vantage is a recon legend and has a movement tac. I agree partly that characters should fit their class and so movement abilities should be attributed to the skirmisher class, but not exclusively. Ash with this dash ability can get in your face and deal damage that way, it will be used as such and less of a movement tool since it will likely only go 20m or so (not able to go through walls - this is alters whole thing). I do think having lots of movement abilities in the game is weird but if that is what the players like then so be it. Plus, her ultimate is very similar to a lot of character abilities which is why giving her a more unique and useful ability tied to the assault playstyle (in combination of using the sword - whether this be with or without added movement with the sword) and would make for a really fun character to play for casual / ranked play but likely not for ALGS
That Lifeline ultimate would make her the #1 meta pick

I really want an octane rework and I’ve been cooking up a Octane Rework idea called
“Octane Re-injected”
Ability concept ideas.
1. Passive: Name. “Just Like Navi”
After getting a knockdown octane will be able to use his tactical with no penalties this also allows Octane to do a crouch jump.
2. Tactical: name. “Stimulate Spine”
Octane has upgraded himself with a bionic spine with built-in stim injectors upgrading his Abilities walk speed increases to 30% and sprint speed increases to 45% and his crouch speed is increased by 1.75 meters per second after using tactical the first healing item used is decreased by 10%.
3. Ultimate: name. “Launch Pad”
Deploy a jump pad that catapults users through the air. Users can press A in midair to double-jump
New Perk:
LVL 3
Rocket Launch:
Gain 10% more movement speed and height on your launch pad rocketing you forward even Faster.
Or
Insane Stunts:
Stick any grenade to your Launch pad making it a land mine for any enemy squad.
Well that’s my octane rework idea!

I didn’t really see the use to change his ultimate because it’s fine the way it is and it matches him so well.
I know this is probably never going to be the actual octane rework, But this was just for a bit of fun. Also, I main the legend so I thought I might as well make a rework for him, I hope someone big out there sees this and shares it to respawn bc that would make me explode with excitement! Anyway enough of my rambling let me know what you think of my rework idea and if it should be implemented into the game or not,
Basically, just give your opinion.
Ballistic buff
Now, his tactical explodes your gun and any grenades you have, and his ultimate gives him and his teammates infinite ammo unlimited guns to choose from, and gives him no cooldown on his tactical. More or less balanced

We need to either be able to craft hop-ups or get enough kills/damage with the weapon and you just level them up and get the hop up as well.
Chasing down hop-ups is a major waste of time in such a fast paced game that Apex has become these days.
Ash main here, her kit is fine as it is but i believe the ult needs to go farther distance, cooldown a little bit faster, and make it easier to use because it’s super unreliable sometimes when deciding where you want to place it.

It's funny how that article about Ash says "but once Valk arrived and did everything better there was no place for Ash" but Valk was added 2 seasons before Ash, so... to sum it up, Ash was never good.

Ashs portal should go in two directions and should only work for the team, or should slow the enemy like when they go through a wattson fence. Her tactical should be a thrown sword that highlights the enemy’s for 5 seconds.
OG Apex will be more fun than what we have now with how overnerfed the current weapons are.

That vantage one is a bug it randomly happens and you don’t have control over it and honestly, I barely noticed the speed

Ash needs a zoom on her Ult the way Pathy and Fuse do.
If they change her though, I'd love her Tac to be instant, short range, directional phasing. 2 or 3Ms in any way you want during a fight would be sick. 2 charges ideally, but not a quick cool down as it could be easily be OP if so.
Just add a feature to ash ult to close portal when hit a button.
I think her ult just needs a slight rework. I’d try to ult out in an emergency situation and half the time it just locks on to the nearest platform. Make it so I can teleport to the air without needing a platform for the end spot and she’d be much more viable. Like if I turn and need to port away but there’s no solid structure to port to this allows me to just port 70m away regardless. Would open up her emergency get away capabilities, make for some unique ambushes, protects ash more when I do port (harder to shoot ash after she ports if she’s in mid air) and could make for some funny ledge plays
I think ashe should get her ult and tact swapped. so she can teleport on her own every 20-30 seconds like loba and her ultimate can stun ppl in the area for a second but keep them tethered, so it can be combined with other ultimates like gibby,bang or caustic
ult range was so crucial for her. the nerf to ~60ish meters made her irrelevant

Ash is the legend that got me hooked on Apex.
She became so underwhelming when perks were introduced.
I always felt like her kit was extremely weak against other legends. I switched to Ballistic for that reason. I'd love to go back to Ash if she's treated properly.
Ash's kit just needs a lot of buffs, ones that help with usability in addition to just power. The snare needs to be launched like its fuse, passive needs to be pinged and highlighted on map, in game, and should give some perks for chasing after them. Maybe let the ult be instacast instead of this pull out sword then swing bs, when i press z it needs to *go*.

Not sure why they changing her, im seeing heaps of Ash in games. Also they fixed the mixtape high ground at Zues station where a pathfinder would sit at the top and noone could get there.
The Q for Ash should either be a longer snare or a tighter snare (enemy has less movement after snare)

Get rid of Ash's ult needing footing to place. Let it be placed with or without footing. Buff her tact for another sec or two and she'd be perfect.
If i was held at gunpoint to rework her then id propose her titan's phase dash as her q (2 charges) and upgrade her ult to stun people like an arc star near the rift exit upon creating the portal. Also make it less obvious where the portal was created.
Passive could be kept same or implement a bullet parrying mechanic when holding right-click with her sword out. Damage reduction in exchange for consuming ult% per instance of damage taken. Ofc needs to have a longer weapon draw time after using the sword to prevent abuse.
Instant rise in pick rate and skill expression.

Ever since respawn got rid of sigma stepping, octane feels a bit stale and boring has a legend. I'm not suggesting a full octane rework but I'm insisting on a perk rework.... I have some cool ideas for them too.
Level 1 = -10 stim damage
Level 1 = 1+ Jump pad w/ a 10% Ult charge on both pads, the extra pad will always be the red jump pad( to get them both a little bit faster)
Level 2 = Passive Healing and Healing speed increase by 10%
Level 2 = When activating your tac, your whole team received a speed boost and his speed will be increased by 5% for every teammate who received the speed boost, Max 10% unless otherwise. ( Teams speed boost is half the duration of octane tac and this passive has a 10sec cool down. For teammate to received the boost they must but in a 15 meter circumference of octane.)
Srry for the last one being to much, I was trying to make it balance while being powerful. Besides that this is probably my ideal Octane, let me know if this is to overpowered or if it's the right amount of powerful....

Considering the Rev rework went SO WELL (😒😒😒😒😒), and they keep ruining Lifeline into the ground over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again, I DEFINITELY have SO MUCH hope on all the future reworks.......... so much hope......... can't wait.........
