As a former Fuse main I can say that Fuses knuckle cluster is also often misused people seem to like to use it up close which is dangerous since it does damage to you too however that doesn’t mean you should never use it up close there is this trick where if you use a knuckle cluster at a door that someone is blocking with their body then you can pre-fire right before the knuckle cluster breaks the door. Thus giving you an opportunity for a quick knock. You can also use knuckle clusters to block entrances. Let’s say you are in a building and need to heal or respawn a teammate then launch a knuckle cluster at a door or any possible entrance or path where an opponent can easily push from. (You can also use his ult to block pathways). Another knuckle cluster tip is when an opponent is behind something whether it’s going for a heal, respawn, or simply taking cover just throw a knuckle cluster because they will most likely retreat this gives you an opportunity to beam them when they do. Also always remember that his ult is always great to carry since you can zoom in and get a good view of things happening far away.
I believe one of the reasons this channel hasn't blown up yet is because most players don't even think they can improve. They think they are at the best of their abilities and we all know we get better every time. Especially if you listen to mango lol been watching since season 11 cuz that's when I started and I appreciate everything during the journey
As a litfeline main can we talk about people yelling at life to rez when there in there in the line of sight. I understand body blocking but can people at least try and move to a little bit of cover.
As a lifeline main at master level, I can add to the lifeline tip that if you have momentum and slide as you tap revive you don't slow down at all, super helpful for not getting beamed on the res, also a care package can be used as makeshift cover for emergencies, spin it so the flat side is facing you so you have cover but anybody advancing doesn't gain anything
Agreed, also just because you get downed does not mean the lifeline drops everything, we still need to judge the situation for ourselves, we know you're down, we just don't want to die saving you. Also sometimes the revive is used solely as a distraction - sound queue to make enemies push. (Lifeline main as well)
@@MrM4rvelous the outline of the package can be seen on the floor, it's a triangle, you can orientate it to block doors with a flat side, the number of people I've bamboozled by trapping them in buildings is way too high
I had a Lifeline random last season. I was confused and pissed that she never did a single rez on me. She just went to la la land and gone believing she's solo queuing. Fuse is the one who rezed me instead.
That happens to me all the time and its so annoying. Even worse i play Lifeline quite a bit so its especially annoying when i was about to take Lifeline but my teammate already took it and then he proceeds to not use his abilities once. Maybe uses the health drone on himself once if i get lucky.
I did just have a game where my two teammates, (one just dced due to lag when being jumpmaster) lifeline was the second and went to jump into a location that's pretty much a hot drop for storm point, considering two or three squads landed there with her being solo there. I landed a 50s trip nearby. She did handle a few enemies herself alone before going down. And since she got downed and I did the "on my way" ping, she actually *waited* for me to come. I did survive coming there and saved her. It was nice that a solo teammate didn't leave immediately after being downed. granted i was close but that's nice of her.
As a lifeline main, when you get knocked and you see us fighting try to crawl to cover and i can prioritize reviving you. Im not gonna revive you out in the open cause they are just gonna thirst you.
I Bangalore main and yes, the smoke is support either for advancing or retreating. If you smoke the enemy is because your team is in a bad position and you need to rotate without being beamed. Same if you are running, use the smoke to help in the running away. You smoke if you are rezzing if you have to do it on an open field. I have also found that smoking an unknown enemy and throwing the ult will most likely hit them all, by the time the smoke dissipates, your team can kill them all without shields and stunned. Also if you have a bloodhound, you can smoke the enemies and then the bloodhound can show you where they are, kill them all and they won't know what hit them. If the bloodhound gets the idea you can breeze through the lobby.

It turns into a battle of endurance for the enemy as they never have time to fully heal if one shadow happens to pop off 3. The timing of the shadow form is short, but the literal totem duration is very long. If you wait, you’re attack becomes more unpredictable 5. I watched a few of your videos today and after applying this advice i've dropped multiple 1k+ damage games in a row. I compounded this info with finally dialing in my sensitivities and it's created a world of difference, and I feel like I can actually battle people now.
I disagree with your first statement. Smoking your enemy after you crack one is smart. It creates a free opening for you to push their defensive position. Unless your plan was to let them heal you would be pushing up anyways, but at the risk of getting beamed by the enemy. If the enemy is planning to fight. They are either A) Healing where you beamed them so you can plan against their cover while they are busy or B) They are repositioning and not ADS because they can't see you , creating opening's to catch them offguard. Not only that, the smoke deals a free 10 damage to their flesh most of the time, and if you hit the other enemies, it will tell you what type of shields they are running. Now where this goes wrong 1. Your enemy was out in the open with no cover, keep beaming them don't smoke them. 2. If you push the enemie's defensive position after smoke, make sure your squad is moving together, it's easy for your team to get disoriented in to fighting the wrong person if you don't move as a unit. When I main Bangalore as IGL and I have a team running close with me, smoking the enemy after creating an opening(cracking someone) has almost always been helpful as we are playing aggressive and receiving no damage on the push, usually overwhelming the enemy team and whipping them fast at close range. People don't normally like to consider the roles of their characters. Bangalore should be out in front, if they smoked inside because something went wrong, that shouldn't be an issue for you as lifeline or other support because you should be playing behind that Bangalore. If you're a recon character chances are you'd be excited when she smokes the enemy anyways, that's your playground. Bangalore smoke seems to be it's biggest pest when everybody on the squad is playing aggro movement characters that don't compliment the smoke, but then you have to be realistic at that point that your squad isn't well balanced.
I must say, Bangalore's passive should go back to what it was at launch due to the game being alot faster now. oh and maybe a great buff but her smoke might be able to extinguish Thermites edit: trust me, it'll make these 200 IQ clutches
as an ex octane main the biggest tip i could give people is the jump pad can be use for more then just pushing. its actually really great for getting downed team mates out of places so u or the other teammate can revive them. if they die in air the box keeps going.
for rev's totem I usually take revenant where I have a push type teammate like octane or ash and I usually tell them I'm planning to use the totem also I would highly advise to put the totem in high ground (hiding it behind cover) so that the enemy will have trouble pushing the teammate after killing you when you're using the totem
The whole point of smoking the enemy during a group engagement is to cut off their LOS and gain ground. Just because you broke somebody across the map doesn't mean you are guaranteed a down, let alone a kill. I see people with high damage complain about how much work they put in compared to the rest of their team yet they have significantly less downs because they don't want to finish their kills and they play way too conservative (scared).
As a valk main I see a lot of players using valkyries jet pack wrong. An example of this is they will fly straight up or fly up to high places which makes you SO EASY to beam. Also using it when you are running from enemy’s by just tapping it once doesn’t help because it also makes you easier to hit. I would recommend using when you need to heal and are in a building just go out the door and fly up to the roof to heal. It’s saved my ass many times but it’s also killed me as well. Not a well known fact but if you crouch you can use valks tactical inside most buildings to surprise your enemies and stun them.
another tip for revenant totem , you can use it when third partied to try and put up a fight or to escape , when third partied run off to the closest cover or hide it on the corner of a room and try to silence your opponents as fast as you can , during a third party no one pays attention to their surroundings as much as in a normal fight so if you silence them , wich already interferes with the enemy HUD and you start shooting at them they are not going to be able to locate the totem so easily , this also means that you have a safe opportunity to try damaging or knocking one of the opponent's teammates so they are forced to either slow down or to reset the fight , during this time you can either flee or heal yourself and try to fight them , also , it's important to have in mind that if one or more of the enemies might try to push you even if they are damaged or one of their teamates is downed , you should always expect a full rush so when placing your totem be sure that you have atleast 1 spot to hide or 1 escape route like a window or a door
Also Revs silence is good to hide a revive. Literally Q yourself and res the team mate inside it, enemies tend to give it a wide berth and usually can't see inside.
one more thing, about bang's smoke, I don't know if it applies to everyone but, when I see my team mates or when I would be reviving my down team mates, or when I was about to be revived (I ran with the perk that allows you to pop smoke while knockdown), I would actually pop smoke at their location or my location so that the enemies that doesn't have a bloodhound will have a hard time seeing us and buy as time to heal or reload

My gameplay has improved out of sight thanks to the videos I watch! Thank you so much for dropping amazing tips and tricks and content. By far my fav content creator.
As a pathfinder main another tip he didn’t mention is clicking crouch to cancel the grap which can help in certain situations where you need to pull your gun out mid air to get some shots in or just simply don’t want to go as far.
As some 1 who plays to win but is in silver and trying for gold. I often get idiotic team mates searching for fights they won't win, when i see them getting owned in a 3vs 1 they created, ill smoke them, so that I might just have a chance of having 3 team mates deep into the final 2 rounds and force them to retreat.
I am a very pushy lifeline main because I used to main Wraith in the past so I guess I would have to change my play style. Who knows? Maybe it might help in some situations.
As someone who likes to play lifeline its not very enjoyable when my friends tell at me to revive them in the middle of the fight while they're in line of sight
New sub from a few weeks ago. I subbed because of this man’s incredibly intelligent and logical analysis. Well done Mangos! Keep up the great work and thought provoking commentary.
i run into bangalores all the time who smoke their enemies to force them to move, provided they don't have a digi threat. bangalores smoking their own teamates feels like they are just doing the same thing and can loose games
For me a revy main I sometime place my totem close or far away you kinda have to be very smart to we’re you place it and you have to be fast now to get to your enemies before the timer run out
What I hate personally is people who play fuse and just throw their ultimate and 10,000 thermite grenades allover and block line of sight completely. Since his ring doesn't really do much damage they just walk out of it the opposite way and run and heal and it's hard to see where they are going because there's just fire everywhere lol
Sometimes its ok to smoke ur enemies if ur in between close to mid-range distance from them and got a good beam because sometimes while ur running at them they can get a beam on you while you're rushing to them if theyre at a spot where only their head is showing. Also, depending on what team ur with, a smoke and rush can clap up a team because if you are a bum you can get your cheeks c alledlped
Bangs smoke is suppose to rush, that’s the whole point of the smoke where If you have a team or hurt someone you can smoke and they don’t know where you’re coming from in the smoke and hurt them even more
1 more tip for path players I seem to notice alot is that people don't know that they can cut their grapple in some situation it's useful and I notice alot of people use his grapple until it's cut naturally
A better tip for lifeline or reviving teammates in general, if there is a nearby deathbox and you are playing lifeline or if your teammate is reviving someone near you, DROP YOUR BODY SHIELD! Then armor swap while theyre being revived so that they don't have to heal at all.
Nobody uses teamwork anymore at all. Everyone wants to be a solo master in pubs for some reason. Octane players are really bad about taking off going down and spamming the pick up or get my banner button after they've ran like 600 or meters away.
also when you smoke what I do fool my enemy's that I am fighting at a place and get them over there and beam them works always they think we are in middle of a fight so they head in.
You should do play by plays and review streamers or pros where you can talk through and analyze what happens in a given situation like sports shows do with sports plays
I sent a clip of the first tip of bangalore to my newbie friend who likes using bang and she said I will throw smoke whenever i want cant tell me what to do then said Ill throw it at you now lol
this isnt necessarily something that people sise wrong but they dont use enough and thats loba ultimate. like when i load up with randoms they only put down 2 or 3 black markets

another tip for revenant totem , you can use it when third partied to try and put up a fight or to escape , when third partied run off to the closest cover or hide it on the corner of a room and try to silence your opponents as fast as you can , during a third party no one pays attention to their surroundings as much as in a normal fight so if you silence them , wich already interferes with the enemy HUD and you start shooting at them they are not going to be able to locate the totem so easily , this also means that you have a safe opportunity to try damaging or knocking one of the opponent's teammates so they are forced to either slow down or to reset the fight , during this time you can either flee or heal yourself and try to fight them , also , it's important to have in mind that if one or more of the enemies might try to push you even if they are damaged or one of their teamates is downed , you should always expect a full rush so when placing your totem be sure that you have atleast 1 spot to hide or 1 escape route like a window or a door
The tips that he offers are so amazing! Every time there is new content I always share it with all my gaming friends and they all agree with me that his content is insane for being free! My gameplay has improved out of sight thanks to the videos I watch! Thank you so much for dropping amazing tips and tricks and content. By far my fav content creator.
I miss the lifeline shield :( it was so fun shotgun crouch peaking with it . GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN
I hope they bring it back
@@TheRedsfan8 I hope so too, she’s kinda bad at the moment so it would be a nice buff since her ultimate Is bad too
As a pathfinder main another tip he didn’t mention is clicking crouch to cancel the grap which can help in certain situations where you need to pull your gun out mid air to get some shots in or just simply don’t want to go as far.
As some 1 who plays to win but is in silver and trying for gold. I often get idiotic team mates searching for fights they won't win, when i see them getting owned in a 3vs 1 they created, ill smoke them, so that I might just have a chance of having 3 team mates deep into the final 2 rounds and force them to retreat.
u can slide while reviving as lifeline to cancel the slowdown while applying it
I sometimes just flat out forget that I'm lifeline and just rush into fights and get downed first, rarely do it in ranked though.
I am a very pushy lifeline main because I used to main Wraith in the past so I guess I would have to change my play style. Who knows? Maybe it might help in some situations.
Thank u for the lifeline tips
from a bang main - when ur tryna push a team smoke in the middle to close gap early, if they have high ground smoke THEM DIRECTLY
Wow this was very helpful. I didn't know that about pathfinders tactical.
Octanes jump pad isn't just for straight line travel, If you hit it right you can fly off it in an curved line kinda like a curveball.
Bangalore tip 4 ya.
If you see a team on the edge of zone you can smoke them and the zone will light the smoke up so you can se them through it
Lol you had a UA-cam worker in your game
i run into bangalores all the time who smoke their enemies to force them to move, provided they don't have a digi threat. bangalores smoking their own teamates feels like they are just doing the same thing and can loose games
For me a revy main I sometime place my totem close or far away you kinda have to be very smart to we’re you place it and you have to be fast now to get to your enemies before the timer run out
No one:

Bangs smoke is suppose to rush, that’s the whole point of the smoke where If you have a team or hurt someone you can smoke and they don’t know where you’re coming from in the smoke and hurt them even more
Elite videos as usual! I'm improving everytime o watch these videos. I still suck but I love playing it
1 more tip for path players I seem to notice alot is that people don't know that they can cut their grapple in some situation it's useful and I notice alot of people use his grapple until it's cut naturally
When digital threat is in the replicator, I run Bang ALL the time! Lol...my team all get digi threats and we push tf out of teams!
What!?! Pathfinders tactical cool down is variable?!?! Been playing since s1 with about 2 seasons off due by that time and didn't know this.
A better tip for lifeline or reviving teammates in general, if there is a nearby deathbox and you are playing lifeline or if your teammate is reviving someone near you, DROP YOUR BODY SHIELD! Then armor swap while theyre being revived so that they don't have to heal at all.
I needed this video for Bangalore cause ever since they nerfed octane I’ve been a Bangalore main thanks man
Dont use the double time passive to dip either ive seen alot of people do that instead use it to out strafe the enemy
3:55 Not the only pathfinder reposition tool. His zip line is a combat utility when used correctly
Nobody uses teamwork anymore at all. Everyone wants to be a solo master in pubs for some reason. Octane players are really bad about taking off going down and spamming the pick up or get my banner button after they've ran like 600 or meters away.
Dang takes me back to my original clip where I used the more as coverage lol
This dude Mangos 🥭 is a legend I’ve been watching you for some time keep it up I’m rooting for your success!
also when you smoke what I do fool my enemy's that I am fighting at a place and get them over there and beam them works always they think we are in middle of a fight so they head in.
Bloodhound tip: Scan shortly before using your ultimate because it cancels the cooldown and will be ready again after ult
You should do play by plays and review streamers or pros where you can talk through and analyze what happens in a given situation like sports shows do with sports plays
Improving in 40FPS! :) More vids pls covering the rest of the legends
There is one exception when smoking an teammate that is when caustic has his gass around him he can still see them but they can't see him
I sent a clip of the first tip of bangalore to my newbie friend who likes using bang and she said I will throw smoke whenever i want cant tell me what to do then said Ill throw it at you now lol
this isnt necessarily something that people sise wrong but they dont use enough and thats loba ultimate. like when i load up with randoms they only put down 2 or 3 black markets
Idk maybe they should bring back lifeline’s shield and if it’s so op then do the old way where you do the revive with the shield idk
9:26 bro really said synchronicity.
Here is a tip on lifeline in open areas in a fight and your teammate is down you can use a termite grenade to make a wall
How do you call in redeploy or heat shield if survival slot is off(for heirloom) and you don’t have extra buttons, asking cause I need help and we play similar. Your uploads help a lot 🙏🏽thank you
My friend is a Lifeline main who plays like Octane after dropping a res drone.
I honestly hate haveing bang on my team especially when I'm pushing and then they smoker
I didn't use Lifeline that much but when I use her I always forget I can ress my teammates
Tip number one Bangalore is so true I hate it when a Bangalore pushes and gets hit for a couple then smokes the whole area, thanks now we’re all blind smh.
Yeah I'm not going to lie I just started playing this game and what you said about the healer is what happened to me
Always good to hear it again, that's a good reminder
My friend (not friends with anymore because he almost booted me offline) taught me how to play lifeline
That transition at the beginning was smooth.
1:34 wait people only found that out recently?
When your listening and say that your never going to make these mistakes again, and the when your in the game: DOES THE MISTAKE
1:44 is why I never pick up gold knock down sheild
bangalore smokes depends on what kind of team you're with though
Thanks for the pointer.
I can't stand most Bangalores because some just smoke no matter what's going on in the fight.
At this point I can't stand to play with a Bangalore. They're always super annoying with the smoke and half the time throws the fight
I'm new to apex I'm level 17 I'm not really that good. I played a game and got 10 kills (I was extremely lucky) and now when I play I'm getting matched with people who are level 200+ and who are a way high skill level than me. Is there any way to fix this or do i just have to deal with getting slammed every game
You have to deal with it. It's a matchmaking that thinks you are good when you get some kills , so it sends you to pred lobbies.
@@pajalixd4016 so it's gonna be like that forever now? Or will it re adjust itself?
@@WhatASausage179 the first game each day would be the easiest game of the day, if you get like 10 kills or a win, then would get matched with pro players, because the game wants to challenge you, and thinks that the lobby you played was easy (hope this helps)
@@reallifeme9333 yeah but thats my problem, ever since my 10 kill game I've only ever bee put with high level players who are way above my skill level. I keep doing bad I always day because they are way more skilled than me and I still don't get put into lobbies that would suit me
@@WhatASausage179 If you perform well you'll get paired against good players if you'll be dying a lot you'll be paired against worse players (You have to die like 20 times to actually get there). But yea most of your time , you'll encounter good players.
The amount of time I have been revived in the middle of a gunfight like no cover or anything I just get killed
You literally don’t need threat at all I’ve been making videos on TickTock since season seven because you’ve literally been able to see through her smokes that way since season zero. Having a bang main on your team means u will always have cover n knowing how to see give u a tactical advantage wither ur team is taking fire or not while enemies try to get out of the smoke u can use it as constant cover n fire from the smoke making repositioning easy when they realize where ur shooting from
The only correct way to use bangalores smoke is as a flare so teams know where you are
amazing tips!! LL main here and especially those were so accurate. people need to stop reviving out in the fuckin open then walk away. biggest pet peeve. ever.

You wanna really learn how to grapple with pathfinder? Play titanfall 2 MP and use the grapple pilot ability to Spiderman around maps.
As a titanfall 2 grapple main pathfinder is really good
Oh man i havent played this game since the month it was launched
I wouldn't care if stem on jump pad did nothing, I would still do it because it just feels right
seer loba and mad maggie next?
