After some constructive critism I decided to change a bit of my overall aproach to modding keyboards to try and satisfy a larger array of customers/ fans of my work.. Compared to my last sound test with Oil Kings and the Feker, I decided to not add Memory foam and simply keep the less thick stock foam and lube the switches 20% or so lighter for a more poppy signature.. I'll continue experimenting as the channel and my work progresses. At the moment, I quite like how this board sounds..
All your boards sound great. I’m fine with whatever. Although if I had to give a preference, creamy/poppy/marbly is my favorite. I don’t like a super deep thock all the time, and sometimes the clackier sounds are a nice mixup.
I agree that your other board sounded dead and muted. Having a slight pop allows for more sound frequencies to come in which satisfies my ears more. Thanks for sharing.
Very interesting to here the differences of your changes between the gmk67 oil kings, still like both sound signatures myself, though i can see how this current setup may be more appealing to the general public.
There is a contact link in the shop front page. If you are Phone it’s at the bottom below the listings, if on desktop, it’s to the right below the big poster. Just make a guest account if you don’t have any. 🫡 www.etsy.com/shop/KeyModz?ref=shop-header-name&listing_id=1383079082&from_page=listing

Don't give into the clack nerds, be the foam god you were meant to be
