@@keniakenia5348 I would say the arithmetic is not too difficult, however, they do try to trick you. Tricky questions but still easy enough to be done. Calc placement, on the other hand, was very difficult.

You wot mate The way he did it shows you how to do it without a calculator. I also did .65 x 160 but I used my phone. If I wasnt allowed to use a calculator it'd be good to be able to know how to reduce everything down like how you're actually taught in school.
Will Gibbs using a calculator has nothing to do with it. Unless you need to specifically show your work using fractions, it’s pointless to used that method.

I screwed up my schedule from my first semester and now I have to squeeze in all my math classes in one semester. College algebra for eight weeks and then statistics and pre-calc for eight weeks (on top of 3 other normal 16 week classes). If I don't score high enough to get into college algebra I will have all the credits except math to graduate with my AA and transfer...
For number seven you could also break it down into an addition problem because you know that 50 percent of 160 is 80 and you know 10 percent is 16 so that would mean 5 percent is 8 so 80 + 16 + 8 = 104

To make number 7 easier, just make 65% in to a decimal which is .65 and then do .65 times 160. Youll get the same answer.

For number 7, all I did was multiply it out where I did both the top and bottom. Then I counted the decimal places where I got 104 :D.
