Grace and Peace my Brother. I started off as a sports Photographer back in 2013 using a Canon 7d and 5D Mark II. Switched to video (2017) after getting tired of the Rough Touch Football players would hit me up for “their pictures”. Kept shooting Basketball at various Basketball Tournaments but got a GH4 for church and starting doing video for Rough Touch Football. Now I have C70,R5 and sold out and got a Fx3. Now I only do sports photography in the Summer.
Good stuff my man. I have recently fallen in love with the canon system. ( wife found a receipt the other day and that'll cost me but it is what it is). I grew up in the 80s / 90s. Every once in a while I'll find an old shoe box from one of those disposable cameras from back in the day. Overwhelmed with nostalgia each time. I Have been blessed to be able to travel to places I never dreamed of visiting. I want my little girl to open up her own "shoe box" one day and remember the fun she had. Memories with family that cant be felt in a video. Time frozen in a still. Giving you enough times to smile and cry without it just passing by to the next frame. Appreciating the moment and letting it linger. Photography isnt dead. Tough to knock it down if the roots are deep.
agree I had the Eos RP TRADED FOR A CANON 90d and Canon 80d. Then I traded my 80ds for one canon Eos R. The Moral of the story is now I’m shooting on the canon 90d again 😂😂😂😂
Did you start with photography? I’m excited to take more photos this year!
I actually started with videography.
Got an MFT Panasonic mirrorless for that reason but also ended up discovering a love for photography.
@@TerraThink that’s awesome! They both definitely have their place!

Nice!!
I agree with you 100%. There's something about taking photos that you can't get with video. Good work!
Thanks!!

Beautifully said. Thanks for sharing & the kind words. I 100% agree!
There's a reason it's "a PICTURE is worth a thousand words"
Facts! Lol
As a fellow Raleigh native also and someone who is striving to make photography a full time job. I’m rooting for you 🫡
Thanks!!

Appreciate it!
Yes, social medias has killed it
Social media definitely hasn’t helped!
