  • Third trimester, here we come! Almost there mamas!
For the next several weeks I will be offering practices specifically focused on prepping our bodies and minds for labor and delivery!
So let’s kick it off by addressing that pesky hip, back and groin pain. Now, the pain can be due to a combination of things:
    • the relaxin hormone (which I have discussed before)
•the weight of our growing belly
    •the endless side sleeping position
Whatever the cause, this class will bring you the relief and comfort we all deserve!

“What really is yoga therapy?” I describe yoga therapy as the integration and adaptation of yogic principles and practices to the western medical model. It is the application of yogic techniques to specific and persistent physical, mental, and emotional ailments. Yoga therapy practices are designed specifically for the individual to help reduce symptoms, restore balance, and offer approachable tools to manage health conditions and facilitate healing. Above all, yoga therapy empowers people at any stage of life, to take control of their health.

This practice is safe to do daily. I always recommend to base your practice on how you feel that day. Only you know your body. Enjoy!

Hi Badriya, I believe that any position baby is in at this stage in pregnancy is normal. You are still early enough that baby has plenty of time to turn on its own. This practice should be considered safe but is not focused on changing the baby’s position. Always consult your doctor if this is a concern. ❤️
