Do you have any regrets about going into medical school instead of NP or PA? I'm 30 now, I've been preparing for med school for the last couple of years and now Im about to apply, and I'm conflicted between PA or med school. I'm pretty set on OBGYN but I just don't know how those lives differ.
That’s a good question and also I’m not sure if I’m the best person to answer that question because I never looked into PA school/responsibilities. I think generally in terms of regret I don’t regret medical school at all. Has it been an incredibly challenging experience? 100% yes. But I do know that I’m learning skills that will make me very valuable in the long run and for me that is enough to keep going. Hope that helps and I’m wishing you the best of luck!!
Are you working in medical school and is it possible? Also Med school with kids and old age(I’m 34)? Doable? How old are the oldest students in your class?
