Very well done tutorial. Very clear and easy to understand! One thing. You mentioned that if you have a white wire in the box (neutral) it should be connected to green wire (sleeve removed) and that you would discuss later in the video. I don't think you did?
I made the following wire connections between the switch and the switch box but for some reason i could see live voltage on the switch Body (with the non contact voltage tester) after i made the wire connections. Any inputs as to why this has happened? 1) connected the first Black wire of the switch to the Black wire of the Switch box. 2) connected the second Black wire of the switch to the second Black wire of the Switch box. 3) Tied the Bare wire and. the green wire of the switch together and connected to. the bare wire of the switch box.
If both the black and white wires were connected to the previous light switch, it could be a case where the white wire was used improperly. In that case, you can use these two wires to connect to the new switch.
Hello! It’s possible that you’ve somehow bypassed the switch during wiring or you have a faulty switch. If you still need assistance, please tell me more about the types of wires you’re working with.
@@Modus.OperAndymine does the same. The lights come on when the breaker is switched on but pressing the motion sensor button does not turn off the lights. I only have on white, one black and one bare copper coming out of the switch box.
If a light switch only has one black wire and one white wire, it could be because the outlet is the last fixture on the circuit, or because of a switch loop. Connect the white wire from the box to one of the black wires from the Lutron switch. Treat the silver and the green sleeved wire as ground wires.

What size yellow wire nuts are you using?
You didn't explain what wires to connect
Does it matter which of the 2 black wires on the motion are connected to the 2 black wires coming out of the romex from the circuit breaker?
For this switch the line and load black wires do not matter.
Great, thank you Deltaris1
My house from 1940’s only has one hot black wire n one white wire on every outlet without no ground. Can I still install this ?

You sped up the actual wire connections so it was not demonstrated or explained fully.
Thank you so much
It worked
Thanks
Mine turns on, but will not turn off. :( manually pressing the button still can’t turn it off.
