I actually think this episode was really important, if only for the sole purpose of establishing the extent and the history of Trish and Jessica's relationship.
I find the "Patsy's gonna save you" comment interesting; it foreshadows Jessica's relationship with Trish. Through all the pain and misery, Trish is the one positive constant in Jessica's life. She saves Jessica from giving up on life altogether.
I really enjoyed this episode, and I don't see it as a filler. This had been building up since Simpson's introduction, and came to the forefront this episode. Up until this point everything with Kilgrave was in the focus, and this episode it takes a backseat to advance another plot thread much further than before, and I liked that. :)
Dudes Jessica has superhuman strength and at least enhanced durability. Prove is her snapping locks. Reason she doesn't always seem that is she is holding back and during fight with Will Simpson she has gotten hit by car and got broken ribs. That's why she could not not stand so much. Also Will is more experienced in combat. In comics she can lift 8 tons. In this show she is around 2-4 tons. Beyond Captain America.
actually that is not true, i dont know how much she can lift but i do know she can lift more that 25 tons because luke cage can lift 25 tons and jessica is stronger that him
Ehh. No. She is at her best equal to Spider-Man in strength. You can check any database: She has shown to be able to lift car with formal ease. As does Spider-Man But nowadays Luke Cage can go up against Rhino who can lift 85 tons and is also bullet proof. Then again so has Spider-Man. But sometimes it is just bad writing. Her strength hasn't been defined as others but she is below Luke Cage. In this show she is clearly weaker than Spidey. She hasn't punched through wall as Luke Cage nor has she stopped car just by standing still. One in very first episodes don't count since she was only lifting a car to stop it from going. Cage clearly held back with Jessica and was pleasently surprised by her strength.
Okay. I do not have knowledge of current Marvel since i stopped reading a long time ago. As you could expect i am best fan of 60-80s and some of 90s. There are few good stories on 2000 as Civil War etc. But me when talking i usually refer to characters as they were created to be.
Ok, now I want to see a fight between the on-screen versions of Nuke and Captain America. Especially if Nuke gets a tattoo of the American Flag on his face just like he does in the comics.
I wonder how many watched this and we're waiting for Trish to be given a Hellcat reference and were let down. I can't wait to see if she becomes Hellcat next season. And if she meets Daimon Hellstrom and marries him. That would be sick
Okay, I don't know if anyone else noticed this, but at 5:37, that shot i think might be of the same street Peter Parker lives on, maybe like a block or so back, see 1:54 of the Spiderman Homecoming trailer.
Most people with super powers heal faster. Spider-Man, Captain America, Iron Fist, Squirrel Girl, Beast, Black Panther, Thor, and many many others like DC characters that for some unknown reason I didn't list and I don't know why...
This episode did lose momentum, but it was sort of meant to bring everyone back down. The title is very much how the episode was. After all the stuff that's happened, the characters needed a small breather and the characters actions come to fruition (stuff with Malclom mainly). The show hit a peak, then it falls a bit and then peaks higher within the next two. It was a pretty good episode. I hope the next season is better, but I'm excited to see how Jessica interacts and what she'll bring to the table in the Defenders. She's strong, but she has no super durability unfortunately.
don't worry guys its only up from here, this was more of a finale set up episode, as for the pills, that's stuff for season 2, also luke cage is getting his own show
To explain the pills that Trish boyfriend takes without spoiling anything is that each pill gives him super power strength so that way he fought Jessica evenly. But when he takes each pills there are negative side effects
Blind wave Jessica does not have strong skin like Cage so can be knocked out more easily, such as a knife will seriously injure her. However I do agree with the support group just randomly attacking Jessica even though she saved most of them.
Brain Trauma is worst than Physical trauma. But Jessica was taking hits from bloodlust Luke Cage, maybe this was just bad writing or PIS or just to get the plot going. But she did get hit twice and tanked the first hit which would probably kill a normal human.
I enjoyed Jessica Jones but I think it would have been better at ten episodes instead of 13. When I was watching the last couple of episodes I felt like the story was dragging on a little too long.
I think it would have been better if it was just the neighbor and Malcolm. Writing seem a bit lazy in that the support group at that point only seemed to be the way Malcolm confessed of the truth of her brother. I feel it would have been better if she would have left the dinner on her own, Malcolm followed her and the rest unfolded as it did but without the other two support group members.
Awesome reactions! By the way, One Punch Man is coming to Toonami with English dubs on July 16th. So I'd love it if you guys reacted to it. Even the trailer would be great! facebook.com/Toonami/videos/vb.1440408039583372/1615457392078435/?type=2&theater

TheCandymusiclover Not anymore. (Season 2 Trish sucked)
@@fusslig7811 I'm here after season 3, and it only got worse, as you probably know Lol.
Dude, young Jessica looks exactly like the bubble/invisibility girl from The Incredibles..
kaakeli laatotus yeah, Violet, I think...
Finally someone said it! Thank you!
@Summer Rose Shut up.
I THOUGHT THAT TOO!!!!

The whole point of this episode is everyone dealing with what happened in the previous one.
That's one of the fundamental points of a show.
The pills are reflexes and strenght enhencer, and the guy is a villain in the comics, maybe he will come back in season 2.

Latitz I'm talking about the current version of her so she is definitely stronger than luke

Latitz oh sorry I didn't know
Ok, now I want to see a fight between the on-screen versions of Nuke and Captain America. Especially if Nuke gets a tattoo of the American Flag on his face just like he does in the comics.
12:02 Your faces say it all. "I cannot fucking believe what I'm seeing. Disgusting."
I wonder how many watched this and we're waiting for Trish to be given a Hellcat reference and were let down. I can't wait to see if she becomes Hellcat next season. And if she meets Daimon Hellstrom and marries him. That would be sick
MVP- they guy who figured out how to save Trish in the ambulance
+BlindWave Simpson is based off a character called Nuke who could stand up to Captain America so he's damn tough
Well guys, here is Trish aka Hellcat now taking an active role.
Okay, I don't know if anyone else noticed this, but at 5:37, that shot i think might be of the same street Peter Parker lives on, maybe like a block or so back, see 1:54 of the Spiderman Homecoming trailer.
Great video guys !
SPOILERS, in terms of comic book origins: simpson is a villain in the comics called nuke, trish is a superhero in the comics who is called hellcat
Not a spoiler
Nooo, no killing Ten! :( (Seriously, though, that Tenth Doctor Pop on the table during JJ amuses me.)
I notice that they have RWBY's Volume 1 and 4 up on the shelf there. I really hope they get around to reacting to all of them

I like the fact you put the tenth Doctor on the table as one of the characters....
Most people with super powers heal faster.

How has someone already disliked?
I really liked this take on Nuke, I just think the change was too quick.
Nice some JJ to end the day !
I'm glad too
don't worry guys its only up from here, this was more of a finale set up episode, as for the pills, that's stuff for season 2, also luke cage is getting his own show
Can you guys many consider lucifer as a new reaction series, anyways you guys are amazing
To explain the pills that Trish boyfriend takes without spoiling anything is that each pill gives him super power strength so that way he fought Jessica evenly. But when he takes each pills there are negative side effects
Nice hair Calvin
Blind wave Jessica does not have strong skin like Cage so can be knocked out more easily, such as a knife will seriously injure her. However I do agree with the support group just randomly attacking Jessica even though she saved most of them.
I hope you do Doctor Who reaction at some point if you haven't see it yet
Lol
Do they know that Patsey Walker is Hellcat in the comics?
lmao that my name is earl reference .
I won't completely spoil it for you and tell you who he is, but I will say that in the comics Simpson goes toe to toe with Captain America often.
ppl already in the comments last episode or do told them he was nuke
I honestly feel bad for Simpsons XD
Trish mom is played by Rebecca Mornay I did not recognize her. She had a lot of plastic surgery
do daredevil season 2
They said they will do it when JJ is done
+Tbc Alex Who the hell is JJ?
+Tbc Alex Nevermind hahaha Jessica Jones got it Jajaja xD
I am waiting for it so bad!!!
nuke was kinda holding back with trish right, it really felt that way
Jessicas friend was a Power Ranger right?
awww...thought you meant tommy lol
Brain Trauma is worst than Physical trauma. But Jessica was taking hits from bloodlust Luke Cage, maybe this was just bad writing or PIS or just to get the plot going.

I just don't get how a board knocks Jessica out but a van going 40moh doesn't
Why so you guys take forever to watch Jessica Jones?
I don't know if some told u guys that he is nuke from the comics
Don't spoil it. They don't want to know. Stop it.
TheGotenza thats not a spoiler
TheGotenza Its not a spoiler its like knowing danny rand is iron fist or luke cage is power man knowing it doesn't ruin the story.
SO CLOSE TO DAREDEVIL
*SPOILER ALERT!*
this comment has no spoilers in it
Simpson dresses like Steve Rogers

How could you cut "worth it"!!!!
the comments are a mine field. Haha...
you guys should do reactions for man seeking woman. its funny as hell
JJ GPS? She's no 007, no Q.
If you ever, if it's even possible anymore, run out of things to react to; I'd recommend Wynonna Earp or iZombie.
Awesome reactions! By the way, One Punch Man is coming to Toonami with English dubs on July 16th. So I'd love it if you guys reacted to it. Even the trailer would be great! facebook.com/Toonami/videos/vb.1440408039583372/1615457392078435/?type=2&theater
