Couldn't agree more. I had been feeling stuck working as a scribe for the last 2 years, and this really effected my self efficacy and didn't allow me to accurately gauge where I was in life. Really left me feeling like an inadequate premed student, and like I wasn't ready, and wouldn't never be ready, to apply to medical school. Took a mental hiatus to explore other aspects of life, and it completely changed my outlook on medicine and what I want to achieve by becoming a physician. So perspective really is everything. Keep up the great work doc!
