Hi Jude. Do you alternate the types of thread that you use? For example, do you use regular weight sewing thread for sewing together blocks and then use embroider floss/thread for doing the applique and top stitching? Thank you for all the videos!
I am new to quilting. Took me forever to find what I was doing was "hand piecing". a friend taught me to cut a shape with 1/4" seam allowance and then do a running stitch ON THE LINE. This is so hard for me for some rason. My question is....can i do this over cast stitch IF I DONT WANT THE STITCHES to show. I am also doing a patience corner quilt. Can I still use the method u did here?

yes you can, just use matching thread and small stitches.
