Same. This one and the smoking one. I was young enough that they felt like fever dreams, that I wasn't sure actually existed, or I somehow manufactured a false memory of, until they finally popped up online.

I hear this version of "Memory" in my wildest nightmares
This cast was from the Los Angeles production that ran at the Shubert Theater. I saw them before they closed in 1987. I had a friend who was major friends with the whole cast. He gave me lots of cool stories about their time in LA. Calvin Remsberg was one of my most favorite Old D's. After Ken Page, of course!
That's so awesome. This is actually from the first national tour. Charlotte d'Amboise as Cassandra and Kelli Ann McNally as Rumple, not sure of the others.

Thank you for scratching the itch in my brain that would not rest until I saw this again! This used to come on while I was watching cartoons in the afternoon. Saw it so many times that I can still recite it 35 yrs later!

I was 6 when this came out, must have played for a few years because I remember it so vividly. For years I had no idea why these people were dressed like cats.

Okay, I’m old.
A little morbid but you have to realize that this was when the baby boomers were becoming parents and they grew up in a time when many cars didn't have seat belts let alone car seats so reminding parents to use car seats was a good idea as it was still a relatively new concept at the time.
They played it in theaters, as well...I distinctly remember my local one showing it during the late 80s.
Imagine seeing it on TV when you were a child...stupid commercial gave me nightmares in the 80s when I was a kid...they aired it a lot in Connecticut...didn't have cable it came over our big a** antenna...imagine watching Mr. Rogers then BAM this hits ya
