Our SO (School officer) when ever he’s on searching for a missing kid and gets a red shoe call or gets a called to the crash near the high school. To even getting called to a domestic situation he says he knows he’s going to have a bad day. One story was when I was still in high school there was a car crash. It killed the teen driver and the child in the back on the person responsible. The mom wasn’t paying attention and swerved into the on coming lane and hit the teen who was turning. Since the school zone starts on a 55mph road the mom was still going 55. The teens car flipped and rolled.
@8-BitCookies spreading negativity like that won't make it better. it's just our ability to judge, to decide what is right and wrong. that's our problem, we think we know what's right for us until the consequences happen. we aren't evil we just use our skills the wrong way. if we didn't have this ability, we would be living in a routine all our life just like animals. that would be boring.

This is the main reason I can't wait for self-driving cars to become mainstream. While they won't be perfect, much of these accidents could be prevented - less people would be affected. Had it been a self-driving car, the last one could have been prevented.
+Aaron Pollard In the particular case presented in the last ad, simple collision avoidance would have been enough - had there been road markings or not. Self driving cars have the capacity to replace human drivers in simple day-to-day situations such as going to work, going to school, going shopping. It is in these situations that most car accidents happen - people are minding their business one minute and find themselves guilty of murder the next. Almost all roads that people use for such day-to-day tasks have markings - meaning that self driving cars have a place on them. Self driving cars won't be perfect. There will still be accidents. However, by eliminating human error, they will make our roads much safer.
WRONG someone got ran over with the self driving car and killed or you all ready forgot that is why uber STOPPED self driving cars OH btw the person was texting when it crashed The fat man women in the car

Imo his wife knew that he was driving. She was stupid enough to text him 10 times in a minute. And he was stupid enough to check the phone instead of leaving it there.
Honestly scared for people in my generation. I'm one of the few kids that ISN'T attached to their phone, and I feel like the roads will become even worse than they are today in a few years.
I love how your comment is without likes. Nobody wants to hear that the phone is something that they can't live without but it's true. I'm in your generation propably too and i have old nokia wich i have always discharged and most of the time i don't even need it.
exactly, plus why would he suddenly check his phone like that? I'd be more curious as to how that kid got in and out of my car that quick and without opening any doors
Most of these blame it on the driver. Like they always except them to be able to stop. If someone is speeding, not following traffic laws then its understandable. But, if a pedestrian runs out in the middle of the road, I'm not gonna be able to stop.
I was able to stop repeatedly when kids and dogs just rush on the road from behind a car. Because I drive as if a kid or dog was about to rush from any hidden place. A bit paranoid, but excellent mind-awaker.
This is so dumb. People like you are adressed in the ad, where it says "just because i am under the speed limit, doesnt mean, i am not a danger to others". Why are you watching this if you dont even get it?
As a senior I beg to differ. The message as I see it was many don't watch around them as they unreasonably expect that they will be seen. We have a lot of trust in others. At 60 miles per hour on the freeway we expect that all the other drivers will pay attention, be polite, be careful, use signals, not spill the coffee, not put on make-up, not be eating or drinking, and on and on. A couple decades ago when I was teaching my son how to drive I had him work out how many feet he was moving per second at different speeds. I asked the questions at random. A couple years ago I asked again, he answered correctly and thanked me. He told me that because he knew how far he moved per second he was a very cautious driver. As a dad I am so glad.
People are idiots. Look both ways always. Even if there’s no one on the road. Don’t speed ever. Don’t get distracted. Just Know that the laws and all logic and laws of physics apply to everyone no matter their authority.
One reason I would say to speed is if a car is approaching from behind and failing to slow down, there’s a video of a Tesla owner having to accelerate when the car behind him was not slowing down.Luckily electrics have instant torque
Dude, fuck you. I'm entitled to ignoring speed restrictions. I AM ABOVE THE LA- Oh, so I guess it IS possible for me to crash into a pedestrian? ... ... Nvm, going to jail.
Or they sent a local emergency notification which makes a sound even if the phone is set to silent. Only thing pathetic is the finger pointing by the makers of this ad saying:"see, you shouldn't have checked your phone while driving!" to people who are watching a pre-roll add in a cinema 🤦♂️

This is the main reason I can't wait for self-driving cars to become mainstream.
While they won't be perfect, much of these accidents could be prevented - less people would be affected.
Had it been a self-driving car, the last one could have been prevented.
Samovar maker and if there's no road markings?
Car Lover mk2 Lmao what? Why the fuck are you calling other people normies and Still you're here watching this video. Pretty ironic

Omg your hamster is so cute!!

Mein Konto Oh shut up
Then best is you should not drive, a life is more precious than your luxury.
What we can learn this video ads: seniors and kids don't watch around them before they cross the driveway.
Without me...
