- Maybe a world record in mini sloping ;) 50 cm (2 feet) low slope.
Flying my 2,5 meter Arthobby Termic at the beach.
11 M/sek (22 knots) wind, and realy cold -2 degree C.(28.4ºF)
Loads of fun playing with the wind..
10 min. full length video of the flight here:

That is some fantastic action. Excellent technique and sweet design
"I can't find a slope near me" *SpeedsterDen: Hold my beer*
I used to fly my THL Zagi off Mt. Baldy in Michigan when winds were favorable, I had a blast! But I had 178' of vertical to work with! You Sir have merely a meeter or two! You have take me to school! Thank you, and I subscribed!
Excellent flying technique ! I love that a Glider can do in good hands and without any type of motor. Really good!!! Thanks for show us.
Your passion for RC gliding is awesome! Keep the vids coming :-)
I remember the first time I saw birds do this and was mesmerized by it
That is what you call skill. Nice flying!!
Thank you :)
You are an artist sir ..
+Jose Manuel Martinez,, Thank you Jose :)
Awesome ....I always think that rc glider have to fly on mountain or high slope only ,but you breaking that
Volar cerca de ti en una pequeña ladera es maravilloso ..estupendo video
Nice brings back some good memories.
Your videos are my Inspiration...
Flies like my old F2A free flight glider ;-) Nice.
Had a standing wave in Hawaii where you couldn't feel the onshore air movement but the glider (home made 100in polyhedral 2 axis design) stayed up over the lift band. Dogs went nuts as if they knew without the wind something must be going on. Some of that lift is likely from the heat coming off the sand cold as it was. Looks like fun!
You have great flying skills!
It is annoying that you make something that difficult look so easy, now I will have to go and practice some more. Hi from Australia.
Very cool!
That's really cool.
Impressive!
Very nice!
You make it look so easy! Nice plane!
Thank you sir :) It's not that hard with a good glider. ;)
Whatever, you're really good too!
Good flying....
So nice and easy looking, makes me want to get back into it 😄
I also had a 20 years model flying brake and started again, it's much cheaper and way easier now compared to then :)
Meget smuk lille video. Super 👍👍
fabuloso vuelo ok
i gotta try this
Twenty two knots is a good strong wind especially at a coastal site where it is garinteed to be laminar.
Awesome fun and mad skills!
I hate electric powered models why have a whiny motor i rather fly a glider with just the basics you need need all this shit to run a glider all you need is a rx tx rx lipo and servos thats all you need lol
And wind, thermals or a good throwing arm.
1:34 matrix move! ;P
Albatros Den!
That was cool
Pent flydd :)
Gjorde det samme på sola, like ved flyplassen, men jeg hadde større hang hehe, alle de små tussene der.. Moro plass å fly ;)
Real coolm, dude
the best
You have no idea how much money you have saved me. Maybe I'll try boot making.
The seagull nearby is saying......eh!!!!
I know this video is old.
Can you tell me the set up you're using to fly. Radio. Servos. Receiver. Battery.
Nice flying.... Thanks
I don't have it at home right now buy as I recall there is HXT900 on elevator and rudder and towcoupling, grey Hobbyking wing servos for flaps and ailerons, 2 cell 850 mha lipo and a 5 amp ubec. and a Lemon LM0052 receiver. Spektrum DX9 tx
@@SpeedsterDEN Thanks.. ✌
wonderful.....what model is it? thanks
Its a Arthobby Termic 2,5 Res model but equiped with ailerons and flaps 😃
She’s Beautiful
Weight ?
Around 1200 gram
So literally the only thing that makes this thing fly is how light it is. Ok
The thing that makes is flying is the small lift from the wind going up over the coast line, together with the low sink rate of the glider.
