Is it possible to upgrade a fresh drafted CHL backup low goalie with 65 rating to a higher potential ? For example to Fringe Starter, Starter or Elite goalie ? Better for growing to sign him after the draft or let him stay without a contract ? Someone has experience how to do this ? My last NHL game was NHL 23. Did they change something in growing low potential players a bit faster ? I remember that in NHL 23 low potential players grow only minimum or sometimes never.
I'd say if it was possible this would be the game it would happen. Thats just due to the conversation system seemingly being pretty OP for player development I honestly don't know how high you could get a guy with example low back up but I'm pretty sure you could get that potential higher
