Hey Vasy, for franchise mode, would i have to adjust any of the contracts for the rookies? I noticed some of them would be free agents after the first year, would I have to give all created rookies 3 year 2 way contracts? Or I can just keep them unsigned?

Thanks to how European leagues worked, teams like Dinamo Riga, Barys Astana, and Dinamo Minks don't appear because it's based on the 2007-08 season, prior to it being called the KHL.

Personally I miss the star system, maybe it’s just nostalgia but it feels like now every potential rating is so stale. Every single player basically can grow to 90 overall, in nhl 14 even players with high potential could bust or lower ones would break out. Just seems like it’s pretty easy to tell now.

NHL 22 Be a pro, sometimes when you sim between shifts the game glitches and keeps you on the sim page with the events in the game. Sometimes I would forget to save before the games and lose 2 win game weeks of progress

Got to love ea. I'm going though this shit rn. Games played is off. So are points. Definitely weird. Knowing EA. They'll fix it on nhl 26. You got to understand EA don't give a damn about the players. At one time they kinda did. But that's all in the past, and buried. New losers in charge. Eventually this game will tank because of them.

Hey vasy i love your guys roster, im trying to make a custom ahl team for tucson and the game crashes specifically when i add the roadrunners roster to the custom roster. I tried deleting all ur guys custom teams and create a new empty one but it crashes when i add the ahl roster and i try to save it. Any help?

I’m currently going through the roster and making all my little tweaks before I start my franchise mode and I love the roster. If I had to propose 2 improvements though, I’d say give center prospects a higher faceoff rating cause they dont seem to grow as much so I often end up with centers with terrible faceoff ratings. 2nd, there are too many mt6/mt4 prospects for the 2026-2027 and later drafts and it ends up with like 2 rounds of them. So there are way toi many high ovr players when you get later on in the franchise mode. So I’d lower a lot of them to LT6 or HT9 and keep the best of the best at MT6 and higher. Besides that the rosters are amazing thank you guys so much for making these

NHL 21 triple grinder chemistry = +5 fourth line. I actually did a funny thing where I edited every forward in the NHL & AHL into a grinder just to see what would happen & Boone Jenner almost always became a beast.

Missed one Feature, EA Trax The Ability to disable certain songs from playing, just in case you are not a fan of a particular song or artist I still wonder why EA Trax was removed after NHL 16/Legacy Edition but is still present in other EA Sports Games

This series has great potential if you go real old school. Like in NHL 11 or 12 the Calder winner used to get a little glitched. I had Ondrej Pavlec win back to back. Other things like setting practices in NHL 04 and they used to affect your players overall negatively and positively. 06 used to have setting ticket prices and stuff but I don’t know if it ever mattered cause I was always the worst in the league financially no matter what I did. Ironically it Didn’t effect anything at all

8:09 Ah, yes. C. Currie from Poland. Players from countries like Poland, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, France, Slovenia, Hungary, etc. having American names is an issue EA has yet to address. It’s been one since the generation switch that took place… in 2006. Yeah, this has been an issue since NHL 07 on the Xbox 360, and EA has done nothing to change it.
