Amen! Yankee! I was saved at 6 years old . After a salvation message , I got up in the middle of the night and asked my dad how to be saved. I received the free gift of salvation because I knew I was a sinner and I believed Jesus paid for my sins in full.
My parents saved and sacrificedI to enroll me in Tennessee Temple elementary school. In the 4th grade I lead a classmate named Tim to the Lord in a ditch playing, a few weeks later he was hit by a car and killed. It was the first funeral I ever attended.
My father died the day before I turned 15 and my life was altered. I thought I was called to be a preacher but I wandered into the world and praise of the world became my pursuit. It was slow and I didn’t realize where I was headed.
After college I went back to church and got re baptized and had strong desire to serve the Lord, but wandered back into sin pursuing women thinking it was love. After getting into divorce, I felt unusable to the Lord and went deeper into sin.
Finally I hit rock bottom and came back to the Lord. I sought to find my fulfillment in Him and after a time met my wife and gave has given me 5 kids and now 5 grandsons.
There is a lot more to my story but I shared it because if I had only know the truth I knew as a kid that was taught out of me that salvation is a free gift you don’t earn. You study to show yourself approved and to be used of God. God deals with his kids on the earth , you reap what you so but salvation is separate issue.
My life really changed when I read the KJV bible for myself cover to cover and believed what it said . I gave up tv and media and most world entertainment to clean my mind with truth of a Gods Word .
God changed my desires as He reprogrammed my mind. Your thoughts lead to emotions and actions. Godly thinking will lead to a Godly living but I was saved at 6 . I accepted the free gift that I could not ever be good enough or earn but a Jesus paid it all and al, to Him I owe. Amen ! God Bless!

YES! I was one of those. When I finally understood the true gospel of Jesus Christ I was absolutely blown away and overwhelmed with gratitude and amazement. I experienced joy and peace I had never experienced prior. I went from serving God out of fear to serving Him out of love. I fell _deeply_ in love with the Lord. God is SO good!

@@jasonc0065 I was in a somewhat similar position to yours I think. I was having my mind filled with so many doubts, heresies, me blasphemies. I know and I knew they were wrong. If you believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your personal sins, was buried and rose again on the third day and trust in Him alone you are saved. You either know what’s right or what’s wrong. Think through this clearly. Pray to God to open your mind. I was there before and He helped me. I’ll be praying for you

Nobody needs a licence to sin, we all do it without one unless you want to lie and claim you have perfect obedience but nobody will believe that... I do not advocate living in sin I JUST KEEP IT ALL THE WAY REAL when I say I don't obey God perfectly or even close for that matter and if you think your obeying better makes you more saved then me then your wrong... You may get less chastisement and more rewards sure but nobody is entering heaving by anything other than faith in the person and finished work of Jesus Christ alone...

TO COMMIT A SIN UNINTENTIONALLY IS NOT THE SAME AS CONTINUAL WILFUL SIN ,SHOWING NO CHANGE .
I am shocked at how many Christians there are who cannot see the simple truth in this.
Me too, but for some Christians, it's harder to believe that we don't have to do anything for salvation. Everyone wants some kind of credit for it.
Years ago when I dwelt in confusion, it indeed was hard to understand because so many other pieces were missing for proper interpretation. Now, after the fact, in a sense it is hard to understand how people don't get it... only because the answers were, as it turned out, so simple. But if you don't know, ya don't know... when you're trained to see scripture one way, it's pretty easy to resist anything that sounds different. But don't give up on these folks; pray for them and continue to minister to them. there's folks out there that just might one day start being honest with themselves, or connect the dots, or get slapped with the perspective that could lead them to the truth. I estimate 98% of the "church" isn't teaching correct doctrine to one extent or another, so there's very few of us out there who hold the truth.

He *quoted what he OPENED to* ...Think about what that means and why there would be NO addition to what he said.
I listened to Calvinist preachers since my salvation in 2018. I doubted my salvation daily. I found Yankee last month. I haven't doubted one day since. God bless you, Mr. Arnold.
Going to church, I heard a "turn from your sins or you're not saved" message on the radio, and when I got to church, I heard another "turn from your sins or you're not saved" message. Preaching that garbage is a sin they need to turn from! I hate false religion, and it's works for salvation false gospel. Dear God, help us to preach your truth faithfully in charity by reading your Word, taught and guided by your Spirit. I thank God for BBN's faithfulness to God's Word, particularly the gospel!

A lot of people are questioning their salvation because there are a lot of preachers "inspecting" the saints, doing what the accuser does: making Christians question their salvation.

Before I was miraculously pulled from the lordship salvation heresy, I thought the true gospel of Jesus Christ (simple faith) was too easy because I was afraid, not because I felt I was better than anyone else. I just desperately wanted to make sure I was saved, whatever the right way was. Lordship salvation caused me to develop OCD and OCPD which goes hand-in-hand with an overwhelming, life-controlling thing called Scrupulosity. I desperately wanted to know I was saved or have assurance of salvation but I had none as I grew up. In my upper teenage and college years, I defended a false gospel out of ignorance, not willful, hard-hearted rejection. I _knew_ I was a sinner and needed a Savior. I just didn't understand the clear gospel because no one taught it, and that's really sad because I know I'm not the only one who suffers from the damnable heresy of lordship salvation (which is works repackaged) at the hands of false teachers. I think millions suffer from it. It's heart-breaking. I'm so, _so_ incredibly thankful that my eyes were opened. The joy and peace I experienced were amazing, something I never experienced before.
I _do_ think I was saved as a child at age 6 because all I knew to do was believe but, because of the heresies taught in the churches I attended throughout my life, I didn't grow in the Lord. When I kept hearing falsities, it would cause me to think, "But I believed! Isn't that enough??" Eventually it developed into a nightmare that controlled me for years. Sometimes I still have to remind myself that I belong to God through faith alone in Christ alone when I hear a false teacher spewing lies.

Do It Like The Bereans WOW. This sounds so much like my life!!!! Pretty sure I was suffering from a mixture of scrupulosity and spiritual attack this spring when it all came to a head, right before God broke through my fear and confusion and showed me the light of the Gospel of grace! I was previously in Torah observance for awhile, and then lordship salvation. I wasnt purposefully believing anything against the Gospel, I just never knew what the true gospel even was! I never knew what to believe. So much deception out there

Ralph Yankee Arnold has helped me more than ALL other preachers to understand what it means to have my sin debt paid in full and owe nothing. Jesus does not save anyone only halfway to heaven and leaves the rest for us to handle. He paid all my debt not just part of it.

This is my favorite sermon of yours and if I'm not mistaken, one of the first ones I watched. I found myself nodding and "amen"ing and overwhelming joy, knowing that I was saved, not by my behavior, but by Jesus's sacrifice!
And another title that caused me to click so fast. I knew this had to be good.

God blessed me with the assurance and peace when one evening i knelt down in prayers and confess him my sins and that i believe in Him. I asked for peace and assurance and He answered my prayer. This was almost a decade ago. I have fallen many times and got chastised as many since and yet here i am in His grace because He is faithful.

The thief on the cross had no time to repent. If he was taken off the cross to live another day, Jesus made it clear that if he failed to repent of his wicked ways and believe the gospel, he would surely perish.

Repentance is " Change of Mine" , if Repent really is repent your sins , does God repenting from sin when he said He'll repent in book of Jonah ?

When It was mentioned that God repented, it meant he decided not to do what he had previously planned to do. At least 11 times the Bible states God repented or would repent of something he was about to do in the future.
It’s the same as when a person planned to sin and then decides to abstain from sinning...that’s repentance.

Leo Boyz Being filled with the Holy Spirit doesn’t necessarily mean that a person is saved. I believe salvation occurs after death, and until then, we are still in the race. With that being said, I plan on jumping up and down with joy when I hear Jesus say, “Well done, faithful servant.” And when he says that, I will be finally, ‘once saved always saved.’

Amen Yankee, It is either all grace, or it is all works. They can not mix. Romans 11:6, If you add one thing a person has to do to receive the free gift of salvation by grace, then it is a perverted gospel of works salvation and no sinner has ever worked his way to heaven. Lordship salvation is a counterfeit gospel of works salvation. Matthew 7:21--23. They have not done the will of His Father. John 6:40.
So many are deceived. I can not imagine the Horror of these people when they come before the Lord and find their good works and keeping the law could not save them. Like you, I want people to receive the free gift and go to heaven. John 3:18 Believers are no longer condemned, but unbelievers are condemned already because they have not BELIEVED ON THE NAME OF THE SON OF GOD.
This is a false dichotomy. You do have to do one thing to receive salvation by grace. You have to believe. It's not salvation by grace. It's salvation by grace through faith. Receiving something is itself an action. If I give you a sandwich as a free gift but you don't open your hand to receive it, it is no benefit to you.

If salvation was not a free gift, no one could be saved. Because a condemned man can not redeem himself.

How you can get obey out of Believe is beyond me, They are not synonyms. They mean completely different things. Obey is a work. Believe is not a work. If salvation is a free gift, then why would you have to obey something to get the free gift.
First John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that BELEIVE on the name of the Son of God, that ye may KNOW YE HAVE ETERNAL LIFE. If we had to obey to get eternal life, then we would not know we have it now. John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the children of God, even to them that believe on His name.

Amen! What a great sermon message, sir. Indeed, you are a blessing, Mr. Yankee Arnold. And your messages are a help and blessing unto the Body of Christ! And I also enjoyed your teaching on 1 John 3:9. Where you showed how the New Birth cannot sin (1 John 3:9) since it is born of God and also born of the Holy Scripture (1 Peter 1:23). For God and the Holy Scripture Are perfect and completely without sin. They have no Sin, and no Darkness in them at all. Absolutely powerful!
And how that it is the Old Man (First Birth) which sinneth, since it is of the devil (1 John 3:8).

Well preached Brother. Its the simple truth and so many are deceived by stupid pastors and prideful self righteous Sunday Christians that why its a narrow path and few be there upon. It will surprise a lot of so called saved Christians about just who are really saved or not.
To earn salvation by works is the scheme of the devil to confound believers. Saving faith is not simply being convinced that what God says is true. True salvation is the decision to trust what God accomplished for us, NOT a commitment to serve. It does not include a personal commitment. You don't dedicate your live to be saved -- but to serve God for rewards for your labor.

When I look at the comments I see brother and sisters fighting over who's right and who's wrong. This is Jesus Christ gift to us, itsyas if some want one to be saved and not the other. Also all of us forget how unworthy we all are or when we came to Christ. The fighting and arguing over who knows the scripture better is complete PRIDE. Here we have a world decaying, and the body wants to fight over who has worked harder for their salvation or who has more bragging rights. God help us. Thank you Jesus for your free gift of salvation.

After reading Romans 6, Paul admonished the readers to not let sin reign in our mortal bodies...But in chapter 7, he summed up the battle of Spirit vs flesh, "How do we escape the body of this death? Praise be to God, through Jesus Christ our Lord...." We face a war for our minds and our souls. But God still keeps us...Thank you dear Lord!

I could listen to you all day everyday. They just dont understand that the Gospel is Gods Gospel and you dont change or twist or try to improve on it because they think someone will abuse Gods grace. A person will pay for how they responded to His amazing gift dont be fooled. But that is up to God and we dont alter the Gospel cause we cant control them. They also dont trust the Holy Spirit to do His job.

If you have to do anything to prove or keep it it's a reward and not a gift
In order for God to save us, He had to do 2 things: Die, and while doing it, take the FULL (I mean the whole box and dice) wrath of the law upon Himself. That means both a physical and spiritual death. When we believe in our works, we act as if the Cross only worked to a level less than 100%, so God merely started the ball rolling and we pick up the rest of the load ourselves. This is where the heresy lies. We should limit sin to continue in fellowship, but we do not limit God when we continue in sin for God cannot be limited. He has done it all - 100% for those who believe He has done it. Hebrews 10:14.
Am late to the party by 2 years, brother, but let me say, " well said ". Yes indeed. Jesus paid the " whole nine yards ". " IT IS finished " (John 19:30) -- " tetelestai ", ie, paid in FULL. The ransom price PAID. Once, for ALL and forever (Hebrews 10:10-14).

The parable of the prodigal son comes to mind here. The Lordship salvation crowd believe that salvation should be based on fairness, when it is actually based on justice. Our sins need to be justly punished, and they were, on the cross. Remember at the end of the story the Father still pleads with the older son to come in. But, he won't, he believes it's not fair. He doesn't want to go in and celebrate with a "sinner."
He believes its not fair because he cant see his sin within himself so many lordship salvationist believe they dont sin

...i accepted Jesus and then spent the next 30 years as a cursing filthy sexually perverse rock n roll drug addict. I got "saved" but no one told me i was lost! 10 years ago i came to the cross with a repentant heart understanding my condition and UNDERSTANDING what Christ did on the cross, then i became a child of God. A true heartfelt sorrow for the sins of my life, the sins that put Jesus on the cross, gave me the understanding for WHY he went to the cross. We MUST know Who He is and Why it cost Him SO much. Even JW's "believe". I have met many people that state a "belief" in Jesus, that walk away using His name as a curse word. Attitude toward Him and contrition are vital to motive.

Obeying and been faithful to God are NOT works!. The Angels of God respect, obey God and are faithful because they love Jehovah God and not because they want to earn salvation , they don't need to because they ARE NOT lost sinners like us.
Are the Angels of God doing WORKS by obeying and doing what God commands them to do to earn something back from God?.No, the Angels obey and do what God commands them to do because they LOVE God and because they aknowledge that God is their LORD and worthy of Praise, All Glory and Worship!.

I obey what God (The Holy Spirit) has commanded in the Bible for the body of Christ to do (Paul, Peter, James and John epistles) not because I want God's approval, to be saved, or as gratitute for what He has done at the cross for me.
I obey Jehovah God (same as God's Angels) out of respect, love and as to aknowledge that God is LORD and worthy of ALL GLORY, PRAISE and WORSHIP.We must love God with all our heart, mind and soul but TO LOVE GOD IS TO OBEY HIM

This is all very interesting to me….I wrestle with the belief of “once saved always saved” I lean more towards believing it. But the particular, potential problem I have with what this sermon is teaching is that salvation is easy. That seems to contradict the passage of scripture that says, narrow is the path that leads to eternal life and FEW find it, and broad is the pathway that lead to destruction and MANY go that way. This verse to me means that few people find salvation and many don’t. I would think that if only a few find it, then how is it easy. You would think that it would be the opposite of that verse that many will be saved and few won’t if it were easy. I’d love same clarification regarding this passage.
A good question! From reading the word, I see salvation is simple, but not easy. We are required to believe that Jesus, who lived over 2000 years ago is God the son, who died by shedding his blood to save us. Added to this is our need to see ourselves as sinners who have nothing of value to help save us. Now how many people believe this? Have you noticed how people reject these truths and see it as insulting to admit they’re sinners needing a savior? As Jesus said, ‘The work of God is this, to believe in the one he has sent.’ John 6:28-29. Paul must have also seen this struggle when he wrote that ‘the preaching of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing.’1 Cor 1:18. Dr. Dave Anderson has another interesting perspective: eternal life can be seen as a quality of life that we can enjoy when we strive to make this happen by following God’s will in our lives. Luke 13 does not say salvation is hard or difficult. It says the way is NARROW. Why is it narrow? Because there is only one way. Thus, narrow. What is that one way? Jesus IS the only way. Jesus IS the narrow gate. You must enter THROUGH HIM. That's why it's narrow. John chapter 10 explains this. God bless.
Few find it because many will trust in their works and will measure their flesh's performance to determine their assurance of salvation instead of looking to the cross of Jesus for that assurance. People can't help but think they have to earn or are entitled to something. But the fact is, salvation is the only true free gift through faith in Jesus.

Thank goodness there are still pastors preaching the true gospel! You’ve come so close to saying all are saved. They are. Everyone was saved at the cross before they believed. God told us the future: every knee will bow and swear allegiance to him. Paul told us each in their own time. (1 Corinthians 15:20-28) Revelation 22 shows two groups, the bond servants and the nations but all of humanity is there. All souls belong to God and God even gave the heathen to Jesus as an inheritance. Jesus said he will have two groups of sheep in his kingdom. Peace to all of you
no, that's universalism. if all are saved then who are getting thrown into the lake of fire in revelation? all the dead being judged by their works? they aren't saved
Mike Harrison you should cross reference the Lake of Fire with the old testament to see what it really is. It’s the battle of Armageddon. I take God at his word. When he says he saved all mankind I believe him not try and explain it away.
@@teagan75 he never said he saved all of mankind. it says he is not willing that any should perish and that all should come to repentance. just because he wants everyone to be saved doesn't make it so.

Many will not be able to enter in.
Matthew 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Those people did not get saved.
