In this video I compare the tinted sunscreens from the Heliocare range. I compare the new Heliocare 360 oil free colorgel cream VS the Heliocare Gelcream from the base range. I have combination skin type and was recommended by my dermatologist to use the oil free version bc of the acne in my t-zone. The problem I had with the oil free version is that my skin feels extremely tight at the places where it’s not oily.
Mmm… okay. Let me see. I want to ask a random question… do you shake the product really well before application? Some of my viewers found this simple trick to have made a huge difference in the texture on their skin overall… try it and let me know.

Thank you for your video. It was very informative. I've been using the 360 since 2019, but I was looking at the gel range, and this video helped! I'm also pretty fair and was considering the pearl color, but most people say stick with the beige!
You are so welcome! I absolutely love both of these. Yup totally agree - stick to the beige. And remember always to shake the bottle / mix or rub the tube really well when using it the first time and with every use, it affects the colour quite a bit if you don’t do it. Enjoy!

I have been using Heliocare for years, its amazing even for dark skin, leaves no white cast, will not make you break out and gives you a nice dewy look. I want to venture into their tinted suncreens now so I can wear less make up

Definitely want to try Heliocare 360. I have been using the tinted gel cream for years and love it but it does tend to burn my eyes so I usually just use my foundation for my eye area. Would be interesting to see if the oil-free one also burns my eyes. Thanks for the great review 💛
Melissa Deklerk sorry to hear that! Hopefull the 360 won’t burn your eyes and yes- in general one should be very gentle around the eye area when applying sunscreens. Let me know how it goes!
How can you figure out your shade since we cannot try
I am wheatish dusky so cannot figure out which shade would be perfect for me. It would be great if you could help. Also cannot figure which one is better for oily acne prone skin like which do you recommend the regular or the 360 range. It would really helpful if you could revert

Wilma I am happy to hear that you enjoyed the video! You know, I found, the 360 definitely doesn’t need a lot of touching up. However, I have done “touch-ups” for those EXTRA long days, and it really doesn’t feel like a heavy “built-up” layer on your face. The cream definitely needs a touch-up if you are out and about, but still only provide hydration and a healthy glow if you do a complete second layer. So I use the 360 for work days and the cream for weekends. Hope this helps!

Hi Maurine, I am glad you asked. I took the time to make a quick video for you that showcase their darkest shade - the BRONZE shade. (See the video here ua-cam.com/video/flYykbbFaek/v-deo.html, I just released it. :-) The Bronze is really not that dark, however I have given a tip on how to make a minor adjustment to obtain a more suitable match for each individual skin tone. are these water resistant?
Hey Emily, yes they are. Just a note: personally I prefer the 360 at the beach, or when training outdoors or just on a very hot summer’s day, as the gelcream doesn’t hold as well as the 360 in my opinion.
