That's thanks to the X pipe. The X pipe mixes the exhaust pipes and makes it sound like 8 cylinders instead of 4 (stock and non X pipe custom exhaust sound a bit like a Subaru.. (same with F10 M5 stock exhaust sound)

The technology and ability of these cars make me impressed they cost $90k even and not like $200k... Pagani doesn't even do this or have this performance man....

As an old school car lover who built a 1970 428SCJ Mustang, I long for that beautiful exhaust note for my 2023 BMW M5 - no snap, no tinny sounding pipes. Why does the Shelby GT500 sound better? Or Mopars?
@@Stroh0000 most of this video was filmed with the exhaust button pressed and the car in sport plus. If you just drive in sport or normal mode with the exhaust files open, you get all that muscle car sound with none of the pops and cracks or anything. This exhaust set up is still the way to go but just drive the car slightly differently

This is close, the best and pure V8 sounding f90M5 belongs to a channel called Carguy, check his red M5, he is happy to share the set-up and exhaust designer, its the only f90 M5 that has a V8 purr @Carguy
I got 2 questions 1 is this catless or just exhaust and 2 I have a f90 with a flame tune will I be at risk of damaging the valves and will I be able to also get the feature to go this quiet when I need to
Finally someone who sees what I see. What is with those thin walled exhaust tips (why)? They look so cheezy cheap and you barely can see them if your directly behind the car. All that concentration on the sound and no attention on the tips just makes no sense to me!
