- Follow along as we install the Vector Off Road highland cargo platform for the Jeep Wrangler 2 Door. It's an easy installation requiring no permanent modifications to your rig. Made in the USA and built to last, this is a great solution for overlanders, campers, and off-roaders.
Just installed this on my JL! Can't wait to test it out this weekend on the trails with the Jeep loaded down. Thank you guys for releasing this! I have been DIEING for this exact product to come out for the two door.
I love these shelves. You can put your fridge on a slide and your gear below, and place your tent, sleep gear and other soft articles up top. They're tied down and won't take your head off in an accident like if they were just stacked.
Before you order this product make note that it fits 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler 2 door Hard Top or No Top only. That is right off of the website. I made a mistake but blame myself for not reading more carefully before I placed my order.
The soft top and support brackets for the Vector Offroad Highland Platform both use the roll cage and need the same mounting location bracket holes.
NOTE: Keith does not mention this through the installation demonstration. When I called in to make and then verify my order (they were on back-order), I asked if this would work with the soft top. I was told yes. However, they failed to mention you can't use both at the same time.
So, you will be limited to managing trips. Or, you will need a hardtop.

Very nice setup, but it doesn't really "double" your cargo capacity, it just makes it easier to organize what's being loaded back there. That is, unless you totally remove the top and keep it off.

Will this work with the soft top as the soft top has hardware brackets mounted to the sport bar? Have been waiting for this -hope it's compatable.
and i can put my hardtop back on ? it comes only in silver?

How does that double your storage space...🤷regardless if you have a shelf in the back or not.. You can stack stuff the the roof without it... Waste of money!!!
And when you stop suddenly and your untied cargo takes your f'kin head off, what then?
