‘Have we seen the best of frank in this tournament Harry?’ ‘ no not yet in this tournament’ That just about sums up Frank Lampards England career, he went missing every time he put on an England shirt in a major tournament. He had a quite pitiful England career in truth.
I think after Capello the FA must have thought we might as well lose with an English manager. Same result, just with an Englishman in charge. This is the problem with our mentality: “we are due a win v Germany.” Eh? Since when? Just sheer entitlement!
