Great shave Chris!! We'll be making an announcement soon about the rattle - it's a minor defect in the replaceable cover that we'll be fixing in a few months. I'm currently between purchasing the supply pro razor and a leaf thorn or twig.
Which do you prefer? I feel that being able to split DE blades would be easier in the long run but I like the adjustability on the Supply Pro.
But as far as the shaved which do you prefer?

That's a very tough choice and I'm not sure I can say one is better than the other. The Thorn or Twig has an advantage in that you can use Half DE blades. That means if you already have DE blades, you can leverage though. The Supply Pro is adjustable and is very nice. It's really up to you. If you want an injector razor, go for the Supply. If you like the idea of leveraging your DE blades, go for the Twig or Thorn. The mister is in the links below every video. Just click on any video and look in the description and you can find it.
I like my Supply razor. It's my go to if I shower shave

Fantastic shave my friend. I’ve been curious about that razor, but have not had the best luck with Supply (I find them either to harsh on the three dot, or to mild on the two dot plates).
This one has a pretty nice range on it. I think it will retail for $89.
Another great shave today. I’m a fan of M&M shaving soaps and it’s very good that one does not need to be able to pronounce the names of their soaps to use them! The razor looks nice, but I agree with you about the sleeve, if they saw a need for it, it should be included with their product, especially since they know razors are used with slippery soap and water. Good observation and perhaps they are listening to you and will make that adjustment. I’m not as familiar with Wet the Face products, so good to know they are around. Have a great day!

Morning Chris. Not the razor for me. If I can’t see the indicator number I would not be buying. M&M soaps certainly do a great job. My SE razor of choice is the Vector Ti.

I believe in shave talk I read that the Supply black blade keys do not fix in traditional injectors. That kind of bums me out. You would think they would want to sell as many blades as possible, even if you don’t use them in their razors. Nice shave. I did buy a Supply 2.0 around Black Friday. I thought it was kind of heavy. I like the vintage Schicks.
What you can do is take them out of the supply cartridge and load the blades in an old schick cartridge. This works. It's worth doing IMO because the blades are really good.

I need to try a Supply razor. I love the idea of this adjustable variant, but I think that rattle would drive me crazy. It bothers me in the Flexi.

I don't care for the soaps that are dupes of or inspired by Aventus, but have always been intrigued by the name of Green Irish Tweed.
It's a great classic fragrance I think.
As you know I LOVE my Supply razors. The Black blades are incredible, and I get 10+ full head and face shaves from 1 blade. I agree the numbers should be highlighted in some way. Also I’ve never had an issue with dropping one, so I have no need for the sleeve. Good to see you Chris and best wishes to your family. Peace

Do you mean that the adjustment is continuous rather than clicking from one to the next?
It has a series of adjustments in between the major numbers. I'm not sure how many but there are a few clicks in between the numbers. So it's a lot more than just 6 settings, technically.
I wouldn’t be a customer for those razors I don’t think, I love the rotation I have going. I’m a sucker for software though lol! I did a double splash in your honor today of PAS club guy after I used vintage lapidus soap from master soap creations

Pretty cool! I've wanted a Supply razor for a while and I'm kicking myself that I didn't pick up the 2.0 before they changed things up. I don't know why, but I haven't found any adjustable razor that I'm the least bit interested in. I am interested in the open comb plate and might have to get one to play around with. I've got some ideas for it and maybe a different handle set up altogether. There's a ton of interesting injector designs before all the companies went to this style. I'll definitely have to get on the M&M train and try them out, they sound pretty awesome. I'll have to work on some crazy names for things, so I get to hear you try to pronounce them! Maybe Polish or Japanese names would be fun! Haha!

Hey Chris. We are in agreement that the numbers are tough to read. It’s probably just something I’ll get used to but maybe they will change that as part of a revision in the future. The rattle is the little door and I’m glad yours has it as well or else I might think it was an issue. Otherwise, as someone who loves injector razors, this one is a home run. I think it's down tight idiotic to make an adjustable razor that you can't read the setting scale. Speaking of which today I will use my Tatara Muramasa which I don't think I've touched for a couple of months. It can give a good shave but the negatives make me always reach for my Rex Ambassador instead. Speaking of confusing languages, I wonder which is worse, Celtic or Welsh?
You can read it but it's slightly difficult when you get water on it. It's the same with the Muramasa I think.

I don't know to be honest. I do think it's more efficient on the upper end. When I get home I'll have to try this one side by side against the old.

I just got a Supply, but it was a 2.0, which Maggard has on sale. It's giving me great shaves thus far. The aggression range suits me, and I don't find the Mirror Polish finish to be slippery. From what you say, it sounds like the blades are okay but maybe not amazing enough to justify the price, but do let me know if I misheard you. What's cool about the SE Pro is that it resembles a vintage SE adjustable, except it wasn't an injector razor. It was a GEM, and it had a wheel, just like this one only further down the handle, that rotated up and down to increase or decrease the blade gap.
I'm so glad you like it Warren. I think the blades are very good, they are well worth trying IMO. I was just giving the general prices so people would know what they cost. They aren't really all that expensive for injector blades.

Great question that I don't know the answer to. I use them so infrequently that I usually lose track. It's more than DE blades for sure, a minimum of 5 I'd say.
If only supply could have gone the Twig/ Razor way... Use any blade, just break it in half. Otherwise, great concept on the rotator.

We opted for allowing customer to use any injector blade, which I always thought to give a much smoother shave than DE blades. But as always, YMMV :)

Nice first shave with the Pro, Chris. I got one of the SE’s with the open comb, and I find it quite mild and not overly efficient, but when I want a real smooth shave that I don’t have to think about, I’ll probably reach for that. I think when you reach 10,000 subs, you should try pronouncing that Welsh town with 58 letters in its name: Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch. Just a suggestion 😉
