I have both bodies. While i love the a6700 for the batteries and grip and focus functions, the a6000 still does amazing with good lenses. I’ve used it for portraits with the 50mm f/1.2.
The 56mm seems to make the person really pop from the background more, much more 3D looking. How much further back did you have to stand to shoot with the 56mm?

The a6700 is nice but the 6000 saves you a lot of money 😂.

My 16mm sigma got grey on the focus ring like that too but I used some alcohol wipes and cleaned it..I think dust / debris accumulates on it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
