Something that I freaking love and have me smiling throughout this entire video is how not even that long ago, you made a video about not being motivated to do anything or having a hobby or nothing! But here you are, a couple months later, being nervous and giddy about doing something that you really look to be having fun with! 😍 I love it! Great video and a solid first attempt! I'm looking to get into tufting too and you've given me more than a few pointers, so thanks! From a very selfish perspective, I kinda wish you'd gone with an ever-so-slightly lighter shade of brown for the skintone, just to let it pop a little more and redone the lips, just so I could have seen someone redo something mid-tuft! :)

😂😂I done scrolled the entire page thirsty looking for more rugs! What happen please don't tell me you over it already. You did a good job on that 1st one. I bought a vintage tuft gun I lucked up on at my local goodwill so I came home and start looking up vids and found yours because it said 1st time, so I figured that would definitely be me. I definitely enjoyed it hope you get into it.

OMG! I have thrown away 4 brand new rugs bc they smell so toxic. Even gave me breathing issues and headaches.I am literally traumatized and scared to buy rugs so this is so cool to learn! This is freaky as hell cause I’m wearing my Aaliyah shirt with my tufting gun in hand while watching this
7 months late to this video but if you see this Candice, well...I don't mean to be this person because what i'm about to say might be "racist" to some but i dont mean for it to be that way, but for the skin color, you don't want it to be too dark where it looks like the same as the black from a distance. I haven't done this but it is something to keep in mind. If the goal is to have each bit stand out, try not to have skin blend in toooo much with the black but if your goal is to have be as close to the original images, then it could be okay or you're going to be looking at it close up a lot. Again, please don't this the wrong way, I'm just giving criticism for you/Candice to keep in mind for future rugs. It loks good close up but when at a distance it might be harder to tell that you used 2 colors.
It could just be the camera isn't picking it up but it is something to consider. Yarn will come out a lot darker in a rug than what you think so if you want a light color get a lighter shade than what you want or you can just deal with getting the same exact shade of yarn and have it be darker in the final rug
