I’m retired - a lifelong knitter and love fibre and started tufting a while ago. I love it so much and have been toying with the idea of having a bit of extra income. I haven’t had experience with a lot of wool yarn, but when I have used it I’ve gotten it locally made in San Diego. I typically use acrylic yarn from the big name craft stores

It varies depending on how many commissions I get. I’m a student currently so it’s just some nice side money.

I use a felt backing from my local craft store
Do your customers pay full amount when they hire you?
I used to accept payment after, but because of some issues I now either do the payment in full upfront, or a deposit
