'she'll be coming 'round the mountain' had me rolling. I have not heard that in 15 years at least. I came here from Jazza's recommendation. I honestly probably won't tuft anything ever, but I am fascinated by the process and enjoy watching things that are created by real talented people. This video in itself is one of those creations. The quality of editing, the dialog, the music, the humor, the actual content - I mean top notch video production. Very impressive! Actually, maybe I will give it a go. Great content!
oh wow i appreciate all of you and Jazza so much! it means the world!!! thank you for watching ❤️ got plenty more and updated rug content coming verrrrrry soon so stick around 🫶🏼
As a former manager in Carpet Tufting, I find your technique highly commendable. The procedural steps demonstrated in the video closely align with the carpet manufacturing process. My only recommendation is to prioritize safety by wearing protective glasses while operating the tufting gun and utilizing gloves during the tuft shearing phase. Apart from that, the video is notably concise and methodical in outlining the tufting process. Excellent work!
I just started tufting like 2 weeks ago and have been getting discouraged so thank you for all of these tips, organizational ideas and tufting itself, THANK YOU
A real Step by Step video for beginners like me. Very informative, patient, entertaining personality, soothing music ,wonderful since of humor , showing the great care and personalization you do for your clients over and above the call of duty. Great quality rugs. Shout out to your dad for his great support helping you make your frame. Great work. Don't change the good work you are presenting.
I've been tufting for about 2 1/2 months now. Your video has the most useful instructions of any of the other videos I've seen. You've helped me so much in this one video. I wish I had seen this first. Things would have gone a lot smooth for me 😊. Thank you very much! Girl you rock!
Thank you for updating the description!. I watched this video about 6--7 months ago and the Aus Tufting Supplies store was still up but very empty and sold out... I returned to watch it again; a new Australian supplier had been listed!
you’re so welcome!! I can not recommend All Things Effy enough! And they just opened up an Australian store too so shipping is so much cheaper for us 🤩 it’s allthingseffy.au 💜
Thank you for this video. You are so informative on the process of making a rug. You highlight things that others have not. You explain the working of the gun and how to maintain it properly. Just a whole lot of tips to make the process more enjoyable. I am inspired to give this a try. Patrick, Texas
Absolutely love every minute of this video ❤ thanks for sharing your tips and tricks 👍keep being you and keep shining brightly coz your amazing 👍I'll be following you on TikTok to ❤
I'm fairly new to tufting, with only a couple of rugs completed, but I just discovered your videos and they're really motivating to get more into it and make it very unique to me and how I want to sell things. Wishing you all the best and hope to see more of your rugs and your journey soon
Thanks for the great video. I ordered a rug tufting gun yesterday and have been bingeing tufting vids all day. I'm feeling less and less nervous the more I watch. I've done hand embroidery since I was little and have latch hooked a few decent sized rugs in the past but have never used a machine. That's the part that makes me nervous. Thanks for easing my mind a bit more.
you're really awesome, you actually answered so many questions i had by just watching, it was a thorough and great guide, also love the vibe, thank you! subscribed :)
Thank you for the video, I definitely appreciate the safety tips because I don’t think I’ve seen anybody recommend them. It was in deep details as well which i like so I don’t have to find more answers in the comment section or through other videos.
Really thank you for deatils i have been watching videos for a month or even more before starting and this is the most deatiled video i have ever i got ❤❤❤
Great video Crystal, really covers it all!! Could you please explain why you tuft horizontally at 23:55, instead of vertically as you did for the other part of the jacket?
Thanks for watching!! No real reason but if the horizontal line is longer than the vertical i’d rather tuft whatever is longer. It doesn’t really matter if you go horizontal or vertical as long as it’s nice and straight it will fill the same :)
Awesome How To Video!!! You had mentioned that it was long but I didn't even notice...you made the tutorial fun! & informative! Could you pass along what you use to create the photo designs...or perhaps what programs you recommend or don't care for... where to locate already designed rugs...I am just starting to research Tuffting. If you wouldn't mind adding limks to the equipment that you have purchased and enjoy using that to would be amazing..like the projector..I know that a viewer will probably mention for me to let my fingers do the investigating (which I am looking forward to) BUT a person has better insite from using the products and equipment..I much rather hear the do's and don'ts that way then to only reading charts of reviews. Once again you are AMAZING at providing UA-cam Tutorials!!! I look forward to your future presentations!!
Awesome Christie. Even when I have never done this, you have me schooled really good and your work looks as amazing as you do. Gosh, wanna take you on a dinner.
Thank you a million times for this video. I just started rug tufting and I’m going through it but this video has help with a lot of the issues I’m having tremendously. ♥️
I am here because of the butterfly effect... :D I fell asleep watching a SHORT about tufting, and the next day the algorithm recommended a video by Martyna and Hansi about a super big and cool Ghibli-style rug, which was followed by Jazza’s video, who shouted you out at the end.
thank you SO much for making this video! i’m thinking about getting into tufting and i wanted to make sure I knew what i was getting into first. this was super helpful (:
I have to say I love your enthusiasm. I can tell you would make an AMAZING car saleswoman or just a saleswoman in general. Apparently I need to go to Jazzas channel because everyone in these comments seem to have come from there 😂 I’m guessing he tried rug tufting recently
This is the beat step by step video so far. I have some questions 1. I’m in Nigeria and i am confused on how to get the tufting fabric, can you list any other stuff they use the fabric for so i can find it in my local market easily? 2. Can the same wool used in crocheting be used too? 3. I’m planning on getting the manual tufting pin tool, do i still need to shave when I’m done? Thank you 🙏
thank you for watching! 1) you can also use Burlap or Monks Cloth, may be easier to source in a local market but sometimes it may rip. If you use a manual tufting tool it should be okay! 2) yes you can use any wool that is minimum 8ply. acrylic, wool and cotton yarn work best 3) shaving is up to you! you don’t have to at all 😁
Amazing video, i have been looking into getting to making custom rugs, and this video is the one that finally pushed me to invest in a tufting gun, by the way, if you know someone with a 3d printer you can contact him/her so you can make a custom part for the winding machine so the paper roll tubes fit as you wish without cutting them, if in need of some cones that are more durable you can think of a cone design and the friend helping with a 3d printer can help to print them. If i was loceted near you i wold help with the printing and design of cones, but sadly for me i am located in lating america and shipping costs are far too much for my budget. Agai i really love your video, quite entertaining and great tips useful for beginners
Hi! I love your guide through tufting ❤ I just started my adventure and when I tuft big loops appears at both sides of rug, can you tell me what am I doing wrong?😢
