That volume is insane 😮
If you do decide to go natural, you can always be a heat trained natural. That might work for you since you enjoy the silk press styles.
And she can start training her new growth while she transitions and by the time she cuts her hair off, it’s going to be trained!
I’d loveeeee to follow her if she became a straight natural!
@@lindafloralmeida6114 yes, she could! I can't wait to see her new journey!
Yes that would be the plan
@@lindafloralmeida6114girl i am a straight natural and her tips have helped me sooooo much, straight and low tension with consistent styling, then a stint in a protective style has done wonders for my density and hair health.
@@NiaraAlexisAre you going natural?
I relaxed my hair after over a year and I'm very happy.
I made the decision to grow out my relaxer….AGAIN
This looked lovely, one tip when you blow dried you did the regrowth the same as the relaxed ends. To get a more seemless blend of regrowth and relaxed you need to properly blow dry the roots straightening them out more that way when you use the flat iron the regrowth will straighten better.
I got a head full of dreads and I'm STILL watching this! Lol very relaxing, no pun intended.
I am also five months post-relaxer but with temporary locks on, and I can't wait to wear my hair out. I am learning to care for my hair from you because we have the same hair length and texture. My damage was from salon visits.
9:09 the protective style season is SOOOO legit! Look how full and heath the hair looooookkkkkksssss
Your hair came out absolutely gorgeous ❤ 5 months I love your routine ❤
You did a great job!
I want to try the Fenty Deep Conditioner!
It's beautiful dear...growing so good..so healthy and thick...kpp sharing dear, be continually blessed...❤❤❤
Loving the hair and volume
Am currently 3month post relaxer, hair looks good and love the volume
Me too.
Yeah ive decided to not get relaxers anymore.(Well maybe lol im still debating )Im now getting the chi enviro smoothing treatments and i notice my hair is much thicker and just as straight as a relaxer. My new growth is actually more manageable too. Im 7 months post relaxer. Best decision I've made so far
If I could flat iron my hair as good as this, then I would stop relaxers … it’s about skill and time
Practice makes perfect! I’m a straight natural and after much trial and error I’ve mastered silk presses at home and only visit a salon for trims!
Looks great
Your hair looks great! Haitian black castor mixed with rosemary oil brought my edges back from the dead.
Gorgeous 😍😍😍
I’ve seen a hairstylist recommend texture release for natural girls.
And I’ve also seen relaxed influencer that hasn’t relaxed her hair in months, what she does now is just flat iron the new growth (like kinda what I straight natural would do. No relaxing and just heat styling)
I love it❤❤❤❤❤
Good afternoon, your hair looks great. I love the curls, love the volume. Have a wonderful day. ❤😊
I went natural during covid. I wore wigs, no glue.
Everything was ok until my hair reached shoulder length. Then every time I shampooed I had to tear a lot of my hair off. The shampoos mat and lock my hair.
I finally gave up and texlaxed my hair using Affirm Relaxer for dry and itchy scalp. I also bought the RevAir to dry my hair. I have fine 4C hair and it looks thin when I flat iron, so I don’t flat iron. I just use the RevAir to stretch it dry
and then do braid outs.
I also temporary colored it.
HOWEVER,
it’s time for a touchup. I am confused about if I should continue to stretch past this 3 months since I will have to texlax retouch myself.
Good morning ☀️ your hair looks beautiful.
Thank you so much 🤗
One of my guesses is that you found out how to maintain your natural hair with that deep conditioner !! You can always be a heat trained natural since technically that's what you are doing post relaxer and it will still loosen your texture. I'm mainly curly in the summer and heat trained or blown out in the winter and fall ... either which way u do with your hair I'm still going to watch I'm a bleached heat trained "natural"? Lol
No I still don’t know how to do my natural hair. A video on my reasons coming soon & it actually has nothing to do with my hair
You did a very beautiful job ❤️
Thank you! 😊
I texlaxed and used temporary color at the end of March. I am trying to stretch as much as possible. I wonder if I should use temporary color during the stretch? Will it cause more trauma at the line of demarcation? It’s so hot and muggy in NYC. I am still contemplating a wig to extend the stretch. Braids always break my hair. I have fine texlaxed 4C hair. It is like cotton candy in that it poofs and frizzes very large, but if you touch it, you can see that it’s an illusion. I don’t flat iron because it looks to thin. So I just blow dry it with my RevAir and then do braid outs.
Your hair is beautiful
Your hair looks amazing!!! 💜
Thank you!!
I’m still debating if I want to relax my hair or not (probably not) but having the routine i currently have (washcloth blow dry hair and flat twist) has been sooo good! My hair doesn’t tangle as much, doesn’t break, my texture is still strong although “softer” (like my coil have opened up just a tad bit). And whenever I feel like my hair doesn’t have the habitual elasticity the L’Oréal pre shampoo bonding treatment or the Philip Kingsley elasticiser extreme, do the job
Do either of those 2 products say on the bottle VEGAN???
Just heat train your hair. It’s easy once you properly educated and figure out what your hair likes. Might be best to go to a trusted stylists who knows what they are doing to stop you from all the cons of trying to figure it out in your own.
@@michelleclark8099honestly I’m not sure
Niara , I'm not gonna lie , you will look great with wolf cut hair
That brush is the truth!!! I am ordering more because I never want to be without it 😂😂😂
I just ordered it. I am hopeful about it.
It’s so good!
I’m so happy that I found you !! My hair is exactly the same as yours so everything u say is good I buy 😂.
I’m 5 months post too and the new growth is intense, I’ll give the Fenty deep conditioner a try because my usual is fighting for its life lol when will you be doing an update on the Nutrafol?
❤❤❤
4:15 natural here! I blow dry with the tangle teezer blow drying brush. Soo good!
Don’t know how it’d work on relaxed hair
I just 10:07 bought the long tangle teaser. It doesn’t work on my hair. I just ordered the brush used in this video. I sure hopes it works. I really need a shampoo with major SLIP! The main problem I have in my texlaxed hair is shampoo. They tangle my hair and I have to tear at it to detangle. Why? I don’t know. Maybe not enough slip.
@@michelleclark8099Joico moisture recovery!! I SWEAR by it. But if you want something even more gentle Camille rose sweet ginger cleansing rinse shampoo (I even detangle my hair with this shampoo)
8:58 the curls will EAT every time!!!!
what is so unique about the unbrush? i see it at 😊😊target and feel it all the time and it seems like a regular vented brush
It detangles the hair easily
Your hair is so pretty. Does your roots revert during the week with the 5 month update?
I only wore this for one day. I don’t even bother wearing my hair like this in the summer
You do a great job styling your hair. What temperature do you use on your flat iron? Ceramic or titanium?
I use the flatirons. They only heat to 365 degrees
I will like to see u baby picture with ur thick hair…🥰
Full beautiful hair. After this process, how long does it take for your roots to puff up
Not sure I only wore this for one day in the house. I don’t wear my hair out like this in the summer
Have you ever thought about using the Revair?
No I havent
You leaving the creamy crack crew? 🥺
Not decided yet!
I do think every time your get a relaxer your edges thin out a little bit because I’ve noticed they get fuller then thinner again or maybe I’m just remembering the corrective one. Is there a way to miss your edges in the relaxer or texlax them, when I used to bleach my hair my edges always burnt off because they’re more fragile.
But it looks good! I’m sure you’d finesse straight natural, it just wouldn’t look as sleek.
Maybe!
Hello From Sweden, how long does it take you to blow dry start to finish?
Maybe 5-10 minutes
Beautiful dear❤❤, so how high did you put the flatiron?
That GHD iron she used only goes up to 365 degrees fahrenheit.
Thanks dear@@MzToya84
How many times did you color after relaxer in February?
I don’t color my hair just use a rinse & I don’t recall exactly how many times
@@NiaraAlexis
I meant rinse.
Consider heat training your natural hair
I am thinking about it
why don’t you just tex lax your hair? And then because you like to put heat on it it will get heat trained
@@prettybrittany_
I have texlaxed hair. It goes poof the minute I go outside. It doesn’t want to be straight like relaxed hair.
I would love relaxed hair. But salons don’t like me and my 4C hair for various reasons.
When people don’t like you, you can NOT allow them to touch your hair. I learned this the hard way.
Anyway, since I am forced to do my own hair, I texlax: To make sure I don’t melt off my hair by overlapping too much and by over processing.
Texlax is still basically relaxer just not processed for as long. Video on my reasons coming soon
I don't know I'm just not seeing the growth. And I even when back to you old video..
There is growth because my roots are very thick. I think you’re thinking of length retention which is different. Would it be nice? Yes but it’s not my focus to be honest.
The thinning edges are not due to the braids? Its strange that you notice it now
Do what is best for you but you just relax twice a year and your hair has flourished, you said being natural didnt work with you in the past… think about it.
Hair looking good as always
I have my reasons why I would consider not relaxer coming soon in a video. And I didn’t just notice the thinning, I just wasn’t going to speak on it until I knew what was causing it
I think you said something about it on tiktok about having children… I understand your concerns but Im sure you can strech your relaxer during pregnancy without problems.
I mean… it is your life but damn, Ii think your own made hair calendar works perfect for you and the results are really nice
Thanks for the video
Why bother relaxing if you're stretching that long? 🤷🏾♀️
I don’t like to wear my hair out in the summer. Do whatever works for you!
