This is what I enjoy about UA-cam. All the excitement, nostalgia, thrill and joy of playing these games again, with none of the frustration of actually playing them.
That intro brings back memories. Walking into the arcade and hearing it in the background. Not to mention the Aerosmith and terminator side shooting games. Then the crowd around mortal kombat street fighter and the xmen arcade. Oh the 90s.
My favourite racing game for the N64 by far. Not just because of the driving you could do but also, this game has some of my all-time favourite video game music.
so on the Safari track, the n64 version is different than the arcade version. In the arcade version you can actually plow through animals and they blow into meat chunks. Nintendo probably forced that out of the game.
Gaming Palooza Empire yeah i remember that, i was used to the n64 version where that didnt happen and i played the arcade game for the first time when i was like 8 and i was like mortified lol
Wow wow wow for some reason this song came into my head. Lol! Havent heard this in probably over 10 years. My cousin and I grew up on this game among many other N64 games. We were so close, too. He passed away 2018 at 24 years young. Now I'm starting to think it was a sign that hes with me. Good memories huh Chris. Miss you ❤
I love this game! It's so fun to go around the world in a car! You can race or just cruise! There is nothing wrong with it. And the cars are fantastic!!!!
I love this game so much so much Nostaglia! always tryna win compete against friends but having fun was always the main course that double tap on the A button to go faster and seeing those flames this game was my funnest game i had & happiest moments to rely after coming home to have fun & relax. i still have this game & my N64 got this back when it first came out & seeing this on youtube wow good times. the games we had coming out back for our N64 NES Sega etc etc. wont compare to the games we get now yes there fun & all but not that same feeling
For a nintendo 64 game this is very impressive. The way the fog hides loading stuff makes it more mysterious and a bit more reaction time based. This could go as far as to reach low dreamcast games. Good job!
I loved playing this game back in late 2001. Around that time, I also played Crash Bandicoot 2, Crash Bandicoot 3, Evil Zone, Nightmare Creatures, Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare, Final Fantasy IX, Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX Maximum Remix, Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2, and etc. I had the N64, PS1 and PS2 back then.
I got this game along with my N64 for my 8th birthday in 1998. My imagination was so vivid. I could have sworn I used to pass under giraffes' legs in the Africa stage, and the Hawaii stage's aquarium was full of colorful tropical fish! 😢
I played this game so much as a kid and not once did I look at the stats, I just picked the red supra every time 😅 Timestamps: Intro: 0:16 Germany: 2:07 Egypt: 7:05 Hawaii: 9:22 New York: 13:57 England: 17:23 Kenya: 23:44 Italy: 27:09 China: 32:23 Australia: 34:27 Mexico: 37:10 Credits: 40:00
I played this more than any n64 racing game, including Mario Kart and DKR. I remember liking the first race (Germany) the best because of the music and the flips.
While I think Cruis'n Exotica is better as an actual game, this one's always been my favorite in terms of aesthetics. This is arguably the best selection of cars, locations, and music of the original trilogy. It just screams late 90s/early 2000s.
*@ANYONE I don't remember the game having this many vehicles!? Did the uploader have to "unlock" all of these vehicles or something?* Because I was almost certain when I used to play this with my best friend many years ago (Must have been mid to late 90's I'm guessing) we didn't have anywhere near this many vehicles to choose from, I really dont remember the "trucks" & especially don't remember that 3 wheeled car. Am I just remembering wrong or did they need to be unlocked or was there a different version of the game? is this the N64 version? TKS! Also, WTF is with that VW Beetle clone? It has a Supercharged V12!!! lol!
Greetings from Indonesia🇮🇩, Southeast Asian. I have this Cruis'n World on My Laptop ASUS. Awesome this Game, one of the BEST 90s Arcade Game/Console Game and also one of the BEST Nintendo 64 Game. Very Nostalgic Game 90s❤😁👍👍👍
Jonathan Sensei BumBleBee in the area. I only playing Cruis'n Usa in my Nintendo 64, but now in this time, i hear about Cruis'n World, and i can try play this amazing sequence.
That intro!!!!! We had a great childhood
Gnik4144 damn the 90s was the best! I miss it!
Gnik4144 yes we did.
We sure did. I used to have cruise n' USA. That was tons of fun.
@@marcdortch9174 The best era ever.
🤘🏾

Novaura Autism the best!
This and Goldeneye 007, Zelda Gold, Star Fox 64. N64 game soundtracks delivered!
Edit to fix goldeneye
same
There is something to be said about the music in games from that era. Truly art.
That theme song time traveled me back to the World of Nostaglia! 😭😭😭
so much fucking nostalgia from that intro
I never hesitate to say this was the best of the three Cruis'n games.
This game gives me so many good memories...I played it back when I was about 3 years old back in 1998. Good game.
I was 4 in 98 and it’s amazing how I remember everything about this game like it was yesterday. I played up until the first Xbox came out.
this always pops in my head from time to time lmaooooo
Hell yeaaaa
same xD lmao
Hell yeah!
Always!
aw man, remember seeing this game in so many pizza places and arcades. for good reason too
Omfg I feel so old. Lmaooo "CHECKPOINT!"

That and the insects popping like zits on the windshield.
Iirc, on some tracks you could also plow people down. On the NYC track. Lmao
I’d only play the arcade version 1) cause I didn’t have 64 and 2) to plow through those animals and see the bloody pieces through the screen 😹😂
That's because they're trying to avoid a Rated T for Teen rating if they used that from the arcade version
Intro song might be the best intro song for any video game ever
Wow wow wow for some reason this song came into my head. Lol! Havent heard this in probably over 10 years. My cousin and I grew up on this game among many other N64 games. We were so close, too. Beautiful man.... much love. May he RIP. 🌹
RIP man. This game is a huge part of my childhood too.
I would like to see this game remastered.
Yes
That's up to Nintendo to decide
WB sits on their ass when it comes to like 95% of the Midway library.
This game was awesome, it was such a leap over the USA, the soundtrack was great, the frame rate was stable.
Good times!
I love that the frame rate was even smoother than the arcade version, but there was a price- the draw distance is only a couple hundred feet lol.
My grandparents bought this for me and my brother back in 2000 or 2001 game was addicting to us for years
nostalgia e felicidade total de lembrar dos games antigos !!!!! e que jogo até hoje e sempre jogarei.
This appeared to miss Florida, Russia, Japan, and the Moon tracks.
Wasn’t there a Egyptian track too?
I’m so honored that I have older siblings who still had a N64 once I was born (2000) I used to love playing this😭 I had to be about 5,6 omg
0:18 why we're all here - THEME TUNE!!!
I loved this game.
Me toooo :( lived these times
I wish I lived inside all of my old video games. This slapped, but halo 2 was life.
@SpAzZzZz_ yea it was but nothing like halo 3
I love this game! It's so fun to go around the world in a car! You can race or just cruise! There is nothing wrong with it. And the cars are fantastic!!!!
This including Rush 2049 were my favorite racing games. Oh the nostalgia. Kamikaze was my go to always.
THIS BROUGHT ME BACK THANK YOU
one of my favorite car racing games. I always played this in the arcades
Back when being a kid was fun miss these old days when this first came out
I love this game so much so much Nostaglia! always tryna win compete against friends but having fun was always the main course that double tap on the A button to go faster and seeing those flames this game was my funnest game i had & happiest moments to rely after coming home to have fun & relax. i still have this game & my N64 got this back when it first came out & seeing this on youtube wow good times. the games we had coming out back for our N64 NES Sega etc etc. wont compare to the games we get now yes there fun & all but not that same feeling
i miss my childhood :(
THAT INTRO, HOLY FUCK. PEAK 90'S MUSIC RIGHT THERE. This was one of the very few games that my dad loved playing.
I used to go to this little arcade from time to time. I don't go there anymore, but it did have the arcade version of this game.
Very good port for Nintendo 64!
'90s video games at its finest!!
The theme seemed so awesome as a kid, now it seems kindof cheesy. Only kindof, because I still remember the excitement driving it.
Love the music!
This brings back some memories.
amaba este juego
A me gustaba ir a las "maquinitas" y subirme a (intentar) manejar. Todo esto cuando tenia pesos de más.
I get sad as hell man 😔 everytime we really grew up way to fast to the point time flew
For a nintendo 64 game this is very impressive. The way the fog hides loading stuff makes it more mysterious and a bit more reaction time based. This could go as far as to reach low dreamcast games. Good job!
Man I miss the 90's.
Classic throwback and soundtrack..had it on 64 but played in wal mart while my mom shopped lol
Toyota Supra = "Kamikaze AWD"
Wow.
Lol I thought the same !
"AWD"
Actually Toyota Supra is RWD, lol
And it’s a 3.0L twin turbo not 3.3 lol
Twin teriyaki choo choo bois
what about zombie
I would always feel a realistic sensation going over those hills lol
Ugh, miss this game so much ! Take me back.😢😢😢
That intro slaps harder in my adult life
The draw distance on this game was something else!
Man 98 nostalgia! High School Days!
I may have been born in 2003 but man… 90’s and 80’s nintendo and namco arcade and console games are BANGERS! EVEN THE MUSIC!❤️
I played these game when I was a kid I played it a lot
I loved playing this game back in late 2001. Around that time, I also played Crash Bandicoot 2, Crash Bandicoot 3, Evil Zone, Nightmare Creatures, Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare, Final Fantasy IX, Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX Maximum Remix, Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2, and etc. I had the N64, PS1 and PS2 back then.
I use to love all the cars in this game but the serpent being a viper always hold dear to my heart.
Ohhhh yes! My childhood memories and moments has been restored!! And what a childhood I had!
I wore this game out when I was younger. It was one of my favorites.
The intro is so good... We lived the best childhood 💪💪
Outside of popping this game has pretty decent graphics. Goid cars and framerate
I got this game along with my N64 for my 8th birthday in 1998. My imagination was so vivid. I could have sworn I used to pass under giraffes' legs in the Africa stage, and the Hawaii stage's aquarium was full of colorful tropical fish! 😢
Reminds me of that one summer, I'd go out all day, then come home and play some N64. Nostalgic !!!!
I haven't heard that intro in over 20 years nostalgia overload right now
I'm old......
I played this game so much as a kid and not once did I look at the stats, I just picked the red supra every time 😅

top speed of 145 on the sardine extreme sounds absolutely terrifying.
old graphics are so cool !
I played this more than any n64 racing game, including Mario Kart and DKR.
I remember liking the first race (Germany) the best because of the music and the flips.
Does anyone know why it skips through some of the vehicles when he is selecting his car
+World of Longplays (cubex55) Stupid question, stupid answer
*deleted comment*
Camilo Montolio
You right! He was asking about the skipped cars! My bad! :)
Well, no idea...
Wow 😮 my childhood. I remember sitting in front of the tv playing with my brothers and cousins
Man playing this and James Bond on my little 8 inch crt block tv with built in vcr, it was a lit time
God Save The King
Mexico is the hardest and last track (excluding bonus or unlockable tracks such as "Moon") of all before ending credits...
The Arcade's Final Was Florida.
this game has the best music
Played this about 3 weeks ago with my Son , he’s 12 and Loved it 🎮 i need to Clean & Connect my Original Commodore 64c 🕹 these games are Timeless 🍷
This game was life!!!!❤️❤️❤️
I used to be ass at this game, but I always had fun.
The intro just randomly came to your mind and here you are! 💃🕺
When I got my first vehicle about 9 years ago. This music started playing in my head lol good stuff
Holy shit memories come rushing back with that intro. God damn that’s crazy I forgot all about this game.
Golden years of a good childhood
That singer put in a lot of soul in this song.
This is the best race ever.
While I think Cruis'n Exotica is better as an actual game, this one's always been my favorite in terms of aesthetics. This is arguably the best selection of cars, locations, and music of the original trilogy. It just screams late 90s/early 2000s.
5:04 I always liked hearing that scream before a big jump in this game
Thanks general Sam
Man I wish I could go back to to these days lord how mercy make me want to break down man 💯
Bring back memories 😭😭😭
