- Why in the hell did I do this again? Eh, whatever, enjoy anyway.
Believe it or not, this was pretty damn difficult to do 'cuz I never tried anything like this in Vegas before, but I pulled it off in the end. I just wanted to try out something that looped, and this was made.
"Choose your car!"
Still to this day, my dream job
you sounded just like him! 🤣
Speed Demon.
who ever created this song has a beautiful soul!
Its called this was the peak of greatness.
Vince Pontarelli
Love this theme

@@NelsonWilcox22 😂😂😂😂😂🔥🔥🔥
Ah the 90's when I didn't have a care in the world. Thanks for bringing back good memories.
I wanna go back
You didn't have a care in the world, because you were too busy cruisin' it 😎
Back then... It only took a quarter or two... but then... you Got the Speed. You got the power. TO CRUISE THE WORLD!!!!
Every generation of kids have that
I remember going the Cici's Pizza when I was a kid and hearing this play in the arcade while I was eating. I couldn't eat my food fast enough when this song came on lol. Brings back some great memories.
same here lol
damn....i can relate to this 100%. especially the cici's pizza part
Use to play this at my local roundtable
Welcome to Cici's!!!!!!
@@silverbullet2660 still????
I remember racing with 7 total strangers, all of us having fun and after we spent our last coin we talked for a few minutes before everyone going their own way
Miss the arcades man. 😭

@@Nicomanism XD
I listen for the whole 10 minutes, high as hell off the gas
The strength observed in her voice is so unexpectedly world class -so powerful. She’s telling me that I’ve got the speed and the power...to *cruise the world* . Yet I still can’t find her in the credits. You’d think that with such a surprisingly emphatic music intro like that would be handsomely commended or recognized. But dark and devious Midway probably stuffed a couple hundred down her naive esophagus and told her to *STFU* and never call back. I still can’t find her in the credits or anywhere online. She was indeed *ganked* .
That's Josie Falbo! A professional singer.
The 90s were crazy!
Choose your car!
this is my favorite comment on this platform. lmao
I can just hear the 90s in this song. My goodness, it doesn't seem like it was that long ago
Gotta love the 90's
I cruised The USA. I cruised The World. Now, I cruise The Galaxy.
First you cruised the entire USA, coast to coast. (Cruis'n USA)
Then you cruised the most well known cities across the world (Cruis'n World)
Then you cruised around some exotic and weird locations across the globe and other planets (Cruisn't Exotica)
And in the fourth game, we're back to a mix of importan cities and extoic places (Cruis'n Blast)
@@RushStar93 Dude, my Dave and Buster's has Cruis'n Blast arcade machines.
YOU'RE CRUIS'N NOW!
This sounds like it came straight from a 90s car commercial, and I love it 🤩
it sounds like a spiritual successor of Stan Bush's The Touch, which incidentally was from a Transformers film lol
N64...playing with my bro, old times...
Big facts..💯
Everytime i went to the mall i'd always head straight to this game at the arcade.
This song lives rent free on my head
I remember hearing and playing this song when I was about 7 years old. I have a mall that was mostly empty and had a Cruis'n World arcade cabinet. After hearing this theme song, this is pure nostalgia that had made me flashback through playing this as a child.
The thing is I have a mall that is mostly empty too and it has this arcade cabinet as well one day I sank a few quarters into it and had a blast!!
Turn it up my niggas. Got to jam out to this on my 4 15 inch Sundown Audio subs my niggas.
hehe boy 😏
Just played this at my local skating rink. the seat didn't lock and 2 gear was broken, but it was a blast of nastalga from my childhood and worth every quarter I pumped in.
nostalgia*
This song is the most 90s thing ever
Use to play this game all the time with my dad when I was a little kid. Miss those times and my n64 collection
Banzai GTV=Mitsubishi 3000GT
Kamikaze AWD=Toyota Supra
El Niño=Chevrolet Bel Air
Serpent=Dodge Viper RT/10
Stallion P6=Ferrari 456
Scarab=VW Beetle
Exec = BMW M5
Tommy = Mini
Monsta = Ford Explorer Sport Trac
Conductor = AEC Routemaster
NY Taxi = Ford Crown Victoria
Enforcer = Chevrolet Caprice
I may have those last two flipped...
i love my mini
When I was little I went to my grandparents country club every weekend for Sunday brunch. They had a game room in the basement with a few ancient games. I might have played cruis’n world 500 times before we stopped going there. I had the top 5 high scores on the machine and could simply not go there without playing. Never have I seen this game anywhere else so this will always remind me of those times. Nostalgia to the max!
there are very few cabinets left and those that remain are surely in preservation
The memories of working at a movie theater and hearing this play in the lobby all the time!
Such an inspirational song! She's telling y'all you hve the power to go anywhere! ;)
Indeed dude
This song is straight from outta heaven😇
gives me memories of first turning this game on when i got it for my 4th birthday in 2003 in Crescent City, California. man, my sister and i used to bet everything on who could win the championship.
Sometimes when I saw this game sitting in an arcade, I'd just stand by the machine and listen to this song.
I remember when this was at my local cici’s pizza hearing this now brings back memories of when I played it every time I went to cici’s sadly we no longer have one here anymore
driving wit the steering wheel in the laundromat #throwback
Be cool to see them remake this game for the arcades in rl.
It deserves it but it would no longer be profitable for midway
you got the speed you got the power you got house music!!!
I'm here in 2021 guys.
"You got the bean, you got the power"
the best times of my life, man. 90s-00s was the sweet spot of growing up. 2010 took everything and never gave anything back.
Still here, still cruis'n the world.
This game as a kid got me into racing games.
one of the first songs I ever listened to! peace and love, bring the music!
This game and Daytona USA were the national anthem of arcades.
Of course!!! 🤩
I'd do anything to go back to the 90's
😢😢😢😢
Ahhh this brings back so many memories of hitting the mall and telling my mom I'm heading right to the arcade. This is so 90s I love it. Has so much Eurodance pumping through it its sick. Culture beat, Gina G, Le Click, Captain Hollywood Project, etc. Thanks for posting this!
I remember when I was a kid when I would go rollerblading and when I would take a break, I would go to the arcade games and I would always play this game. I wish I can go back.
In the Chesterfield mall in Chesterfield Missouri there is a place called Neutral zone its $20 per person to enter the back area where there is a retro arcade I played this game all the way to the end.
Reminds me of my brothers. We used to play this a lot on our N64. Lol. Game was a lot of fun but hard. Good times!
Sounds of my childhood love it 😍
Ahhhhh, this is bringing back some great memories 😌! I miss the 90s ♥️😭!
TO CRUISE THE WORLD
Classic. They used to have this in a theater I used to go to before people ruined going to theaters. I used to get first place each time and kept getting free plays because of it so they eventually removed the game and replaced it with a sub par race game lol
They should remastered this game and bring it back to life
Check out cruisin blast on the switch. It's pretty dang close!
i used to love playing the cruis'n games. altho i have never heard or even KNEW about cruis'n exotica. o.o
as much as i love this musical piece: it's kind of sad that the N64 got the downgraded version of this song, whereas the arcade version has the extra sound effect in the song
+SlySonic101 Exotica sucked compared to this game. This had the courses, music, and the cars that you'll never forget.
My childhood
Mad props to you! Absolutely love the energy, melody and (limited) lyrics. Now. . .Choose your car!
I needed this in my life.
Used to always drive to Florida with my parents and older cousin , and whenever we would stop by the Maryland house we would play this game!!! Haha!!! GOOD TIMES man. I miss the 90s haha
thanks I was looking for this, going to use it as a screen saver, Keep um coming man
We didn't have an arcade where I grew up. Luckily I got to play this on the N64. Going to play the new one today. I didn't even know it existed until yesterday. I just had an itch to play it again.
DUH NUH NUHHH
Gay club music?
This magic with only 64 megabits of memory
You not a arcade gamer if you don't know this song this song will always be legendary
Seriously.
Ahhhh my childhood
I often sing/scream the beginning of this song out in the world lol
back when the world still made some kind of sense and optimism and hope still existed and were prevelant and fairly widespread this game and song were really popular. :) back when the only concerns were spending time with family and friends and sometimes finding quarters and an arcade and good games like this etcetera.
back when i thought i could still believe my parents when they used to tell me work was like school just go there for a few hours do the best you can and come back home and enjoy life after the day is done, and when they said eventually school/work would go away and we could back to living together as a family and having time together like we did before i had to start school.
turns out adults lie, governments suck, jobs somehow suck the life out of you unlike school so instead of going home to do things around the house and play and having to stop and wind down to be able to sleep at the end of the day you are instead too tired to even contemplate doing anything and just want to come home and rest 6 hours into an 8 hour shift and job doesnt even pay enough to have close to the lifestyle you grew up with or you or your parents wanted you to have or even in most cases enough to properly support yourself without outside/family help...
turns out dreams are just that dreams...and no matter how smart people say you are it doesnt help or make a difference, working hard doesnt help, good grades don't help, having 2 college degrees on top of a high school diploma on top of a state career readiness certificate doesn't even help, being debt free doesnt even help much just some, staying with family to reduce number of bills only helps somewhat, it's just so frustrating...
i've been told i nearly totally lack ambition, but i've never cared, ambition and money aren't important to me, as long as i have enough i feel fine, never felt the drive for more and more and more i've seen so many people get trapped/fall into, but it would have been nice to have a place to call home a family someday friends nearby or at least be able to stay near my parents and still be able to have done things with them while they were able to still get around well enough.
instead someone like me who doesn't give a bleep about money has been stuck my entire life stressing and worrying about money and if there will be enough when its needed or not
all my dreams flew out the window back in 2010 or so.. being able to actually live and be happy and have a stable supportive life is apparently mostly out of the cards for me..
my parents income to support the entire household was never more then 2000/month usually closer to 1000/month for my two parents and myself and until 1999 my sister b4 she passed away...we never truly lacked for anything we always had enough..sometimes in my opinion too much..i'd rather have one meaningful present at christmas then a small stack of clothes and other gifts/presents covering part of the couch..but we always had enough no matter how bad things were...a nice comfortable place to live, heat and air, always plenty of food even if sometimes we were down to canned soup/vegetable stock piles occasionally for brief periods.. i was loved and more then happy...everyone always would ask how i could be so happy they never understood why i was almost always happy and smiling even when things were going wrong from some perspectives... i had everything i possibly could have wanted/needed..only thing i ever somewhat lacked in was friendship but i was actually friends with my parents so it was okay.
now i make about 1400/month after taxes just my own income from work and it never seems to go far enough/be enough...i can barely afford the rent to stay with one of my sisters much less ever be able to even consider having a place of my own. i work 40 hours a week and often have to sleep so much on my 2 days off that i basically have half a day to a day off b4 i'm back at work again i'm somehow so tired sometimes for seemingly no reason. i havent been able to afford to go back home to pennsylvania since once in 2008 my first year i was here in north carolina, only time since i was able to go back my sister took me back to see my mom just b4 she died in 2017 for a few days while she was stuck in a hospital in pittsburgh...i promised my mom i'd help dad get through everything and help take care of him the best i could but i still can't even properly take care of myself yet so no idea how to keep my promise when i can't even afford to go back to visit still really and last time i got to see my dad was in 2018 when he came here for one last visit.
my sister doesnt want to ever see dad again and doesn't like him coming here to see me and tries to limit my contact with dad as much as possible and always has since i moved here after she talked dad into sending me here at the last minute a month b4 i graduated college back home in pa.
at least songs like this remind me that once there was a time where at least dreams might have been possible and i might have still had a good life.
This isn't a therapy session man, we're just cruis'n the world
Don’t know why, but I just get this
My local Fiesta Market had one Cruis'n World arcade, along a Neo Geo Arcade Cabinet, Marvel Vs Capcom cabinet, and a Point Blank arcade cabinet.
Everytime I played this there, the intro theme would be blasting through the roof. Good times.
Childhood activated
At 0:19 there wasn't any race start though lol
Things only got much better after this with Gran Turismo and Forza.
Loco me hiciste regresar en el tiempo con este tema.
Gracias amigo
I’m convinced Everybody who played this game either grew up gamblers are have speeding tickets now.
Heard this cause of General Sam lol
So much fire in those windpipes!
saudades dessa época ...
Running to extract with your first graphics card of the wipe.
"choose your car"
cant be the only person who like the whirring sound the game made as u scrolled through the cars
I remember on the actual machine it would say "ready, checkpoint" and then you'd hear all the engines from the race starting just for it to loop back to the beginning of the song
I think they may have sampled or at least been heavily inspired by Marky Mark & the Funky Bunch's "Good Vibrations" as they share a very similar melody and vocal style.
“press start”
i remember playing the arcade version and some random german kid stood beside me and looked how i play
One time when I went to the arcade, I hope the other people enjoyed this song because I recall I put in coins for a credit and on the car select screen, the game locked up except for playing the music. :D
YOU GOT THE SPEED

You've got tha POWAHHH
@@darknight3050 to CRUUUUUUUUISE the WORRRRRRRRRLD!!

I play this game way too much at Grandma's when I was younger

The only song I can think that can rival this is the *"Ridge Racer Type-4 (R4)"* theme.
