Sorry to say it but in your country if those ride operators that night had refused to let him on the ride they would have been called racist or fat phobic. This is how ridiculous your country has become , they are more concerned about not hurting peoples feelings rather than their safety. I live in the UK and there was a multi entertainment complex in Gorton Manchester with a Zoo, Dance Halls, Pubs and Funfair. The Funfair opened in 1925 and closed In 1980 in the 55yrs the Funfair was open there was not one single accident or fatalities. They had no accidents because they made sure if you were overweight, to small, to tall or pregnant you were not allowed on the rollercoasters.
How would they know how much he weighed and that he was over the weight limit? Like the video says, there were no weight check measures in place. Someone tampered with the harness on 2 of those seats to let bigger people ride despite the risk to people's lives. My guess is that the tampering was by either done by someone in that park's upper management or ordered to be done by someone in upper management. To me, it looked like it had to have been done on the 2 seats while the ride was shut down prior to that fateful night. Some greedy upper manager(s) probably didn't want to turn away large passengers from the ride and lose that "prescious money" so decided to take matters into their own hands. Unfortunately, this beautiful boy paid the price for their actions. 😥😥😥
They should have denied him to ride because of his size… but they were probably intimidated that if they did, there would be a scene made accusing the park of racial discrimination…
