      "We called him Big Tic because he was our ticket out of Saint Louis".. wow, the mother has no problem admitting to using her son for money? Turns out she was right, his death is there "big ticket" out of the ghetto! She'll win the lawsuit lotto.. if she cared about her sons life or health she wouldn't have allowed her child to eat himself to death. His death was a direct result of his obesity!
      The park is 100% liable in this case only because they didn't have the courage to refuse the "gentle giant" from riding. Witnesses have said that this "gentle giant" was going around the park trying to bully ride operators into letting him ride, he was refused at two different rides previous to this ride because of his size. According to witnesses, he was using his size and claims of "racism" to intimidate the ride operators. A posted sign with the weight limits would NOT have saved her son, her son was told multiple times that he was to big for the ride and he wanted to ride anyways!
      Like I said, the park is still responsible for allowing themselves to be bullied into letting him ride. They should have refused him and thrown him out of the park for harassing ride operators! I understand they were afraid of being called "racist" but they still had a responsibility to refuse him.

There are rules, regulations, guidelines, and procedures that every company should teach their staff to adhere to and follow. And if they are in dereliction to their responsibilities, why wouldn’t it be theirs or the company’s fault. Now, with that being said, the fault of the child, unfortunately, was death that should not have occurred had that company adhered to their policies and procedures, rules and regulations.😭

    I'm sorry but I'm only 2 minutes in. Would the $22 seat belt had saved his life even if he was over the weight restriction for the ride??? I feel for the family's tragic loss of their son but I think them suing the manufacturer even though they are not negligent. They would probably do better just suing the park and the operators of the ride for allowing him on even though he was over the weight limit. No amount of money will ever bring him back but I think on certain case the attorneys and families see dollar signs more than anything.
    Also, the mom and the dad are doing separate interviews. I get they may not be together as a couple but they should have a united front for the lawsuit and she be as one as parents. Not just the mother filing a lawsuit on her own. He was also the dad's son as well

    • @faithleonard1537
      @faithleonard1537 2 роки тому +2

      @SQ would the seat belt have even buckled with him being over the weight limit. I guess that is something we will never know but seat belt or not he was over the weight limit and should not have been permitted on the ride but that's what you get when you have 16 year olds operating the rides with very limited training for a summer job opportunity. What is even more concerning I'd that according to reports he was turned away from other rides because of the weight restriction but not this particular ride. What training/experience did the other ride operators have to turn him away that this ride operator did not have and still allowed him to get on. That's what me as a parent could not be able to wrap my mind around but again the seat belt thing will be something left up to a jury to decide

May justice prevail, there’s no doubt she will be awarded, but it will never bring back her dear son. It’s so sad, yet she will save lives in his name. May he forever Rest In Peace.

      She's thinking about the big pay day!
      "We called him Big Tic because he was our ticket out of Saint Louis".. the mother has no problem admitting to using her son for money?

    I'm so sorry for her loss and honestly there needs to be awareness spread because I would of never thought a big person would be in danger getting on a ride like that, and my reason for thinking that is because you see these big metal ride that looks like it could hold alot of weight and yes it's messed up and stupid of the company not to put seat belts I wonder what is behind that possible lawsuits of getting hit with the metal buckle or it getting torn of and causing harm to someone in the bottom , I'm sorry guys I hurt so bad for this boy because I lost my son tragically and I feel so guilty he was a good boy I took him for granted I saw him so positive with his self didn't sneak out or do drugs I let my guard down and now I have to live with this guilt I know it'll get better because I love God and I pray to him alot and I try to forgive myself because I was going thru depression and stress but I wish I would of gotten help the happy memories are what keep me going but I hate that I got sick 3 months after my twins started middle school my depression got so bad I couldn't drive I would get so much anxiety and so they started staying with my sister during the week I wish I could go back in time but I can't I want my boy back too people please talk to your kids get yourself help seek God for peace and strength you need to be healthy in your mind cus depression is like cancer if left untreated it could be turminal try to teach your kids resiliency pray for them alot and tell them that you love them and ask how they are doing and self defense my son lost his battle with mental illness last June and he hanged himself my son was not a coward my son was brave he fought hard he worked out everyday and ate avacado and toast and chicken with lemon till his last day he played piano and all kinds of guitars his favorite group was the band and he was so loving that even in my depression he bought me a white and pink cake I remember I felt so bad like I didn't deserve it he also cooked duck for me before he passed I just wish for one more chance I've caused so much pain to everyone that loved him and I hurt for my other son although I feel God has really helped him and me cus even tho life will be bittersweet till I go see my kid in heaven I know God will help us heal and he comforts our soul and I pray Mathew 5 over everyone that has lost someone which says blessed are those that mourn for they will be comforted father please heal our pain and I ask that you use us to help others by spreading awareness that suicide is at an all time high and that there are alot of people around the world committing suicide they say every 40 seconds someone dies of suicide but I think with this pandemic who knows please guys talk with your family see how they are doing be kind and spread awareness to the boys mom I say get a settlement cus what if they file for bankruptcy or the jury decides to favor the companies because they had already alot of rides he was turned away and they have proof in those other rides that they told her son he was to tall or heavy for rides

Where I was thinking how in the world is she able to do that after losing a child. When anyone say they will give they really dont have too or obligated but I got from it since she didnt get the money when she thought it should have already been giving she cuss the person bad. I thought just because he hadnt gave it when she thought it didnt have to mean that he wasnt going to give her the money . I guess person who said he give money is some singer. Every since I heard her talking and way she was talking it made me look at her different. Im not surprise she not suing its crazy she said big ticket I told someone I bet she was waiting, counting on him to help get her out the hood and look she said it, wow.
