Never heard of this movie until I saw of Barry’s recent passing. RIP Kowalski. They list this on his acting credits. Saw the chase scene. Excellent. Ford Torino GT. Not the Challenger. When stunts and car chases were real
This trailer is kind of misleading. The film starts off with a bang and the first 10-15 minutes are filled with quick-paced action and a brilliant car chase. The remaining three-quarters is a slow-burning drama about a man setting up several people so he can take revenge upon them. The film really has no climax. Of course, what's interesting is that this was the film Barry Newman was making when he got a call from his agent telling him they've edited "Vanishing Point" down so much it's nothing more than a B-movie about some hop-head in a stolen car.
R.I.P Barry Newman. ALSO -- One thing in the movie is not explained. Why would an UNDERWATER SALVAGE EXPERT -- operate an AIR CARGO CHARTER business in the first place?
Barry Newman, a brilliant and underrated actor. Right up there with Steve McQueen as far as I’m concerned
EVEN better than McQueen
The car chase was epic he Totally bent the car in half but It didn't kil it

Fantastic trailer!!
A very good trailer for a great film.
Kowalski is on the run Again...
He uses speed to get himself up… to get himself…. Gone….
Based on Alistair MacLean's novel.
Looks pretty good.
Just watched the red car chase he actually smashed the camera lense with stones coming off the tyres
A perfect example of where the trailer reveals the whole plot of the movie, leaving nothing to the audience's imagination.
