I think it should be investigated if the state now and then is legislated with the Bible written as a story. Many of the negative posters in this comment section may not have even watched the entire video. While Newsom isn't perfect (and no one is), at least this video illustrates real problems and then shows some of the efforts being made to address them. Some of these absolutely seem worth pursuing. You can see and hear this in the very people in this video who are either implementing the programs or benefiting from them. All positive change starts with reversing an existing destructive course and taking small steps in a new direction, and each effort becomes more successful as more people invest in helping it to succeed, scaling up what works and being willing to change course on what doesn't. But if you never try, nothing will change. Positive change can never happen in the US unless a larger portion of our population is willing to consider our common good...in the long term, we all will clearly benefit.

I love my home state of California, but I am deeply ashamed to call this place my home and to raise my family here. Newsom’s “California Model” aims to continue making California prisons look more like communities, while making our communities feel more like prison. Newsom refuses and shunts personal accountability as he continues to dump billions in tax dollars into the homeless industrial complex that HE has directly contributed to through short sighted and self-centered political agendas since his time as Mayor of San Francisco.

I think it should be investigated if the state now and then is legislated with the Bible written as a story. Many of the negative posters in this comment section may not have even watched the entire video. While Newsom isn't perfect (and no one is), at least this video illustrates real problems and then shows some of the efforts being made to address them. Some of these absolutely seem worth pursuing. You can see and hear this in the very people in this video who are either implementing the programs or benefiting from them. All positive change starts with reversing an existing destructive course and taking small steps in a new direction, and each effort becomes more successful as more people invest in helping it to succeed, scaling up what works and being willing to change course on what doesn't. But if you never try, nothing will change. Positive change can never happen in the US unless a larger portion of our population is willing to consider our common good...in the long term, we all will clearly benefit.
Even the worst of people do something well. This man is not good for our country.

2 Ideas though that Im here to say needs some attention.
1. The so called "Water Wars". Pretty self explanatory and currently its leading to some bad ecologics. Sure you know but the Bays being posioned by the influx of Salt Water as fresh water leaves it.
2. Getting rid of At-Will Employment. It prevents unionization and henceforth workers have less of a voice within their workplace.

But European states, in defiance of the sanctions regime, accepted many rich Russians connected with the Kremlin, gave them citizenship and allowed them to settle in European states without restrictions on movement and bank transfers. The US has the right to fine such European states a lot of money, because the EU and Britain did not even prohibit these Russians with European citizenship from leaving European states due to the sanctions regime! It is time for the Biden administration and other ruling American Democrats to think about this for the benefit of the American economy. The United States must not forget the interests of the American economy and the American military lobby! For example, after the annexation of Western Ukraine to Poland, the US can forever receive additional income if the Polish Ukrainians will forever fight for independence. The US may not formally support the Ukrainian rebels in Poland, the CIA or the Soros Foundation may secretly support the Ukrainian Insurgent Army there! Moreover, the United States may designate armed Ukrainian rebel groups as terrorist organizations in order to formally dissociate itself from involvement in supporting the rebellious Ukrainians. If Ukrainian rebels sometimes destroy Polish warehouses with purchased American weapons and ammunition - then Poland will have to additionally (more) buy these American military goods! (Furthermore, if the new Ukrainian terrorists occasionally destroy American weapons depots in other EU states, this will further increase the sale of American weapons to European states!) But the CIA or the Soros Foundation should take care of the possibility of Ukrainian terrorists to successfully steal American weapons and ammunition from Polish depots in order to continue the insurgent struggle "against the Polish occupiers." (Ukrainian Insurgent Army in Poland must have secret reinforcements of Ukrainian volunteers from all over the world!) The interests of the American economy are more important than the interests of Poland! There will be opportunities for starting a conflict between Ukrainians and Poles in Poland if Poland occupies at least a small piece of Western Ukraine. Western Ukrainians have more than a hundred years of experience in the national liberation struggle, partisan banditry and terrorist attacks against Poland! This experience should serve American economic interests. (The more ferocious and intense the confrontation between Poles and Ukrainians in Poland, the more benefits will be received by the American media, banks and arms exporters!) The Europeans should support the US with money, because it is the most powerful ally of the Europeans! It is time for the EU and Britain to legally confiscate all treasures, real estate, company shares and bank deposits of foreign criminals who arrived in their states from the former Soviet republics. Any student outed to a parent by a school for being LGBTQ are at higher risk of being kicked out of their home by Christian and far right parents. This endangers the child's education, well being, security, mental health, and put them at risk for suicide and to be trafficked in the sex trade for survival.
So. thank you for standing up for the LGBTQ children of your state from a Iowa mother and grandmother with a child who has questioned his sexuality and a Beautiful 14 year old neighbor boy who was bullied and committed suicide right across the street from me after his bullies told him to kill himself or his bullies would kill him when he came out as gay.
