I don’t think so, but just to be sure check with the folks at Riva Racing.

Unfortunately no, it really only works with supercharged and intercooled models.
How much faster does it go with this and does it negatively effect the lifetime of the engine or craft?
Our machine went from 69 mph top speed to 77 mph top speed. No negative effect on the engine, as the rev limiter is still intact. It does make you more likely to crash, though …
Does it work with a 2008 yamaha vx 1100?
Not sure. Check with RIVA. They’ll have your answer.
Will something like that void the warranty?
Good question. It shouldn't, as it only removes the speed limiter, not the rev limiter. You would probably want to remove it before bringing it in for a warranty claim, though.

Probably. Contact RIVA racing directly and see if they have an SCOM for your model, and if so what the expected gains are.

Close, but not exact. Check out RIVA racing’s website for more information. The benefits aren’t quite as good as they are for the 300 HP machines, though.

I don’t think it will make any difference, as the speed is not really being limited significantly in those machines. You should contact the RIVA folks though, just to confirm.

I believe they do, but there may be limited performance gains. Gains are highest on the 300 models. I suggest contacting them directly and asking them what they think. Good luck.
Will this work on a 2020 seadoo wake pro 230 ?
I think you can install it, but it will not really improve your speed. Even on the 260 HP machines there’s not a lot of improvement. They work best on the 300 machines.

It would have very little if any effect, because your speed is not limited by the computer, but rather by the power of your engine.
Do you think it worths to try on 2015 GTX 260 ?
You should get a few extra MPH on your machine. Is it worth the $$ for the extra speed? We’ll, it’s a personal preference.
Can this be used on a 2020 gti se 170?
You won’t get any benefit from it. It’s best effects are seen on supercharged and intercooled engines. The 300 HP models show the best results.
What about for a gts 130 2014?
Sorry, it wouldn’t help you at all. If you want to keep your performance up, make sure your impeller is not damaged, and your wear ring clearance is within specs.

It wouldn’t be worth the money, as your machine is not powerful enough to be limited by the computer.
I have a 2014 rxpx, stage 4 Riva..... Can I run 100 octane Aviation fuel ??
These engines were designed to run on automobile fuel, so that’s all I would put in my machine. I also don’t think there’s any benefit using fuel with more than 94 octane. Good luck.

Can you make video how to remove intercooler from rxp x and clean it properly?
We do have an intercooler installation video, if that helps. We don’t have any plans to show how to clean an intercooler, though. You should only have to drain it once a year, anyways.

should but it's look hard to remove it. Anyway intercooler it's probably not that dirty cause seadoo doin 118kph
It's most important to drain/check if you're running in salt water.

After installing mine it won't record high speed or high rpm any resolution to that

I'm not sure what your question is, but the SCOM will not benefit a 2006 GTX.

I doubt it. What machine did you install it on? Did you buy the right unit for your model? Did you get the RIVA Racing SCOM?

Nope. Just no more speed limiter, that’s all.
@@3ftDeepChannel I also have a 2013 RXP which is a 260 And the only mods Is rear exhaust top speed at 65 so would that work for this model as well to get to speed up a little bit

How long do you need to run in when install riva scom?
I’m not sure what you mean. It takes effect right away. As long as your engine is broken in, you can let it rip.
@@3ftDeepChannel Just installed riva scom on my Rxp x 300 that had 105 hours on it. Does riva scom take effect immediately ? I tested this morning and does not show any speed increase. All it showed on the display is Sport mode. Pls advise ? mine is an international model.. does scom work on international model?
Yes, it takes immediate effect. It also works on international models by removing the speed limiter. How fast did you get to? It would normally be limited to 69 mph; with the speed limiter removed it should be able to reach 77 mph under certain conditions.
@@3ftDeepChannel B4 installing scom the speed was 73mph. After installing it ran at 75mph with rpm 7800. My rpm has never max at 8000 and any idea why? I had the intercooler cleaned and still the same 7800. With scomi the speed imcrease is not remarkable
That’s interesting. I can see your RPMs being limited below 8000 before the SCOM because you were reaching the maximum speed, however, that should’ve increased to 7900 RPM. Definitely check your pump and intake system to make sure nothing is impeding or blocking.

Absolutely not, as long as you preserve your rev limiter.

@@3ftDeepChannel All models in Europe has also a different name, Here we have an "RS" added in the model name, for example, RXP-X 300 RS, or RXT-X 300 RS, RS stand for European model, and all RS models are not speed limited, they all do about 77-80mp/h out of the box.
That's fantastic. I'd put up with an extra "RS" in the model name to get that extra speed ...for free!
That is not true. Europe models (RS) have limiter higher but still are limited. U.s. models 68mph, european 72mph and SCOM 75mph, usually Tune 78-80mph (more rpm)
@@JoeTeKraM You can argue if you want, but my RXPX300RS -19 did 77mph after 3hours on the clock. maybe a tune will get you a few hundred rpm, but other than that, a tune from rev limiting perspective, does not much. but a tune also changes the power the ski produces, so it will get faster acceleration.
