Hello everyone and Jeremy thank you very very much for sharing your knowledge.. only a small comment. You gave a very very nice example but I think people mostly don’t understand if you don’t have the ability for this kind of compression you never going to play up there… I can only encourage all the trumpet colleagues Which are looking for better high notes and collective better Embouchure to check out the difference between more compression instead of more air not even faster air… thank you all..
Hi, Siegfried! Thanks for your thoughtful comment. I agree with you, and you remind me that I should create videos playing in the middle register, too! 95% of my trumpet routine, and trumpet playing, is in the low to middle register. I wouldn’t be able to play in the high register if it weren’t for spending so much time in the middle register!
I've been trying to play high notes more easily for over 30 years. At first my lips were too far apart. I played for 15 years in this way and I have changed and I continue to make small adjustments every day... and now I feel better. I think you have to find the way your lips vibrate for the high notes. when you find that, you can play easier.
Doc had the same concept for young players, “ play it loud”. Blow that little em brochure into place and they will be able to play louder when older. 🎺

It's a process for all of us, for sure!

Hey Deone! That’s right, I remember him saying that! Look forward to seeing you on the zoom routine in the morning…
@@jeremymilos I’m ready. Great job on the tutorials 🎺
@@deonejohnson7351 thanks! See you shortly.
If I could play those notes I wouldn't be watching this video....
I appreciate you watching my video, Stephen!
