- At a house party fifteen year old Bram is surrounded by friends and draws the attention of many girls. He has no interest in them. He has fallen hopelessly in love with the pretty boy on the dance floor: Florian. Love at first sight. There is only one problem: no one knows that Bram is gay. As the evening progresses and the tension rises between the two boys, Bram realizes that he has to make a choice. When a game of spin the bottle starts, he decides to twist the fate of the evening, and maybe his whole life.

I dont think we would even exist and be so confident with ourselves if not for you guys. I respect the people who participated in those rallies and movements regarding LGBT rights and I owe them big time.
I , being an LGBT person from Gen z, am trying to make people comfortable with themselves and eliminate internalized homophobia and every negative stuff.

@@billycarroll9153 oh, ok, well, thank you. I know the first song, actually, but I don’t know the rest. It was hard googling the lyrics as I heard them. The first song is RAYE and Jax Jones, “You Don’t Know Me.” Interesting, because it goes along with the short film perfectly in that we don’t know if either guy is gay until the end. And do we know anybody, really, on a philosophical level?

Having alliances and friendships is vital to healthy social growth in those teen years, especially if you are LBGTQ and coming out. Its more important that ever for kids to come out earlier rather than later so nobody feels isolated, but its also never more risky . If those allies don't materialize, you are screwed. So please, please be an ally for someone who needs one - early and often.

The lead actor is awesome. He is so sensitive, a super match for any boy or girl. He looks exactly like the young Matthew Modine from the Hollywood film "Birdy" during the 1980s
I was so apprehensive! I kept shouting "to hell with what everyone else thinks. KISS HIM!!" The "Everyone else ...thinks" has caused me to blow more opportunities than I care to remember throughout my life. I was so elated at the wonderful ending! 👨❤👨

The party is actually more casual than a real date. So one doesn't have to be as tense. I'd like to see a continuation of this. How supportive are the friends, how does this LDR thing (assuming, it is a long distance) work out?

They way the music subtly, yet dramatically, changes at 2:55 is brilliant, it makes the whole scene, it happens again later in the short film, each time, it brings home their connection.

It's kind of sweet that a comment that this was so unpredictable has 60 thumbs up and probably a lot more to come. They both wanted this from the moment they saw each other, and then there they were in a game of spin the bottle. What would be the point of the film, if they didn't kiss? Of course, the title of the film, "Turn it Around," is a double-entendre: Turn the bottle around, and turn the social situation around by coming out.

GREAT ACTING. I love it! It reminds me when I hit puberty long ago. Confusing, mysterious, rages, romantic, faze, uncertain, passive-aggressive tomfoolery and sweet, all-in-one! Be yourself. It's the best character you could ever possibly shoot to the 'fullest', for rest of your life 😗 Explore some while you find a way, but never forget why you've been created such. We're full with love.

The shock when I heard my native language...LOL! It's nice to watch once a gay-themed short in Dutch. I'm just in the second scene now, the party scene. The boys' manner of speaking is a bit artificial, but perhaps it'll develop nicely further on. [edit] It was only that blond boy who has a very special voice and manner of speaking, very unlike a boy his age. But the rest of the film is so sweet and cute. I love how they kiss each other right at the party. It's super sweet.

Yeh I'm gay and I'm scared too but I'm not scared of telling them I'm scared of loosing them my real mom died when I was seven and my aunt took me in my father was abusive towards my mom and he said if I ever turned gay he would shoot me but I'm 16 now but still scared even doh I dont see him often so just trust yourself and go with the flow dont rush it and if your very close to someone in your family like really close try to tell them first and get support from them that's my opinion but I dont have any experience when it comes to confession
