I am a marshal for the TT and I can tell you, the island does have speed limits. All towns are 30 zones but when you get onto the country roads and get the national speed limit sign you can go as fast as you want. The Manx people are very respectful of the speed limits and accidents are no higher than the UK apart from TT week!

The Downshift celebrates the diversity of cars and car culture. Whether it's extreme off-roading with the editors of Four Wheeler, drifting with the editors of Import Tuner, having the Lowrider guys show you how they roll, or discovering the amazing places where dream cars are created, The Downshift brings you fascinating stories, interesting personalities, and, of course, incredible machinery from beyond the automotive mainstream.

Base price: Stang $22,200 vs BRZ $25,495: Stang 1
    HP +TQ: Stang 305-280 vs BRZ 200-151: Stang 1
    Weight: Stang 3511 vs BRZ 2747:BRZ 1
Willow Springs track times: Stang 1:29.09 vs BRZ 1:30.32: Stang 1
    0-60: Stang 5.3 vs BRZ 6.4: Stang 1
    1/4Mile: 13.9 vs BRZ 14.9: Stang 1
Honestly speakin the stang has a prehistoric live axel an significant body roll, compared to the BRZ which is a lot lighter which gives you the nimble feel an it's just that feel cuz you not goin that faster than any other cars

Stands for "in before", internet slang that has many meanings. "Generally used on internet forums, inb4 refers to a user posting a reply to a message/topic "before" another user posts an obvious response."

To all the Americans here: Everywhere in the world except for the US and maybe Australia, it's more important for a car to be good around corners. Corners are where the fun comes from, not just pure straight-line speed.....

Most driving enthusiasts don't care as much if a car is brand new. If the idea is track use, the appeal of a much more affordable used car will win out over a more reliable new car. With the S2k being around the 11k-20k price point depending on year, many enthusiasts will pick it up and modify to get a better performing car for equal or less than cost of a new BRZ. Other cars like the 350Z, SR20 S13-S14.5s, WRX/STIs, EVO VIII and IX to name a few are at attractive prices w/larger aftermarkets.

No they worked together to make this car. Many cars are based off the same chassis. but branded with a diff body. It makes it cheaper for us while creating a better profit for the manufacturers.

i really do love the Subaru BRZ, but id really love for them to make a newer model of the Subaru BRZ with more power. like making a twin turbo version with upgraded brakes and handling/suspension to balance out the cars extra power. by still keeping it like the orignal Subaru BRZ's handling but with extra power from the twin turbo. i think that would be super kool and make the BRZ even more kool and fun and really help Subaru out making the BRZ more noticeable. :)

There are lots of other cars with similiar performance to the BRZ/FR-S/GT-86. The first that comes to mind is the Honda S2000. It has great suspension, awesome stability, with a potent powerplant. It's 2.0L puts out 200 at the crank, like the BRZ.
