Fun fact: my grandma is actually featured heavily in the episode where they work at a dentist office. She’s the main worker the girls worked with there. She said Paris off camera is so sweet and intelligent surprisingly but said Nicole is as awful as you’d think
That's sad that Paris has lived essentially as a walking caricature. It makes you wonder what she could have become if she weren't just wealthy for a living.
@@zarasbazaar Considering she was sent away to those wilderness schools that are basically just using multiple forms of abuse, I think she's done well for herself. A lot of people who were forced into those schools have come out with such severe PTSD and trauma that they struggle in life. She's using her name and fame to help shed light on these "schools" and I think that's a great thing.
You left out the best part of Paris’ line when she cluelessly asks, “What is Walmart? Do they sell walls?” 😹😹😹 I used to love this show back in the day!
She reminds me of a girl I used to work with. Maureen. One day, Maureen asked me, "how many is a dozen?." This was a restaurant kitchen. Another time, she was going to make mashed potatoes. She put raw potatoes in a giant hobart mixer and turned it on.
Simple Life was such a wild ride. Paris and Nicole really played up the dumb blonde thing but my understanding is that it was an incredibly effective exaggeration. They did ICONIC jobs lmao.
They did the play on quiet well cuz remember Paris and Niki as well I know Paris did went thru Provo canyon. And seeing her story I am like I love her so much more now
Whats hilarious is Paris is actually a very intelligent, well spoken person! People actually believed she was that stupid. But she was actually a damn genius with how she went about her character!
I worked on a movie with Paris years ago and nobody used to believe me when I would say how kind and genuinely intelligent she was. I normally skip past the in video commercials, but out of respect that you went through all that traffic and braved leaving your house. I watched this one. In all seriousness. It is actually a well done commercial.
My favorite bits of the videos are when Ken and Dane reminisce and tell funny stories from their past. Like the one where Dane sold his car on the street and watched the guy pull off and then get flagged by the police. Or how Dane would freak out about a spider in Ken’s old house. Those stories have me cackling and I just love it. ❤
Ken jump scaring me with being out in the real world, my god. Go home Ken, stay home ❤ I felt like when you see your teacher at the grocery store: “what do you mean you don’t exist solely at school and have a life, home, and family outside of your job and the people you serve every day?!?”
As someone who grew up in the south and has moved away, this video was so interesting. Ken recognizing the T shaped clothes line, Ken talking about the bugs and leaving the door open. Also, who the truck caught a tick and put it on their bed?! Ticks are immediately giving a death by fire! This video made me homesick. :') I hope you guys do more videos :) Thank you.
CHEVY ASTRO VAN ARE AWESOME!! lol. They the most comfortable vans. We had 2 in my house years apart from each other that had the TVs in them for the people in the back! Man I loved those days.
@@Stefaniemarieb Our first one had the United Airlines colors, back in those days used to be Continental Airlines, and funny enough we used to drop people at the airport all the time to that airline. lol. The last one we had was burgundy red.
The fact that we could use T9word (old text style) as a code now is wild to me. There are just 2 maybe 3 generations of people who just have that random knowledge😅 And texting while not looking in class back in the day was hilarious, dead silence and then just intense clicking
@eggystax4681 it's literally just a bad joke no harm intended lol all good humor lolol its just cause there's this whole bit with Mary (Ken's wife) and the chair and other UA-camrs saying Ken is soliciting Mary by not giving her a chair, lol just keep going you'll see
3:30 I'm not a millennial, I'm gen z, but I had hand me down phones from my nana or brothers so I know EXACTLY what the phones were like 😭 I got a modern phone when I was 12, before then it was button phones. I had a blackberry that had an actual mini keyboard and touchscreen as my last phone before switching to Samsungs
I was bought a literal flip phone as a kid😂 didn’t get a real one till I was like 12 or 13. That fucking flip phone was unbreakable tho, we had a well but it would sometimes dry up so we’d have like a 3,000 gallon water truck come out and refill it. One time I dropped it outside at night when it was raining, couldn’t find it, the next day my dad found it IN THE MUD, RAN OVER BY THE WATER TRUCK and that hoe still worked PERFECTLY barely any scratches
Fr I was the same. I dropped my phone off the roof of a 2 story house on to the drive way! I went down and picked up my phone that was in Lego pieces and just put it back together and it worked fine😂
Exploring the woods with your siblings and having an adventure as a kid is the best thing ever, I have such fond memories of that time of my life. Maybe I’ll have to go have another adventure one day! Kinda forgot how magical it can be and could definitely use some of that in my life these days.
I loved the Simple Life. What I really enjoy about your videos is you guys have lived in some of those areas and have known some colorful people. So your commentary isn't rude or unfounded, cause you grew up in the south. Another great video, with lots of laughs!!! 😂
This was my favorite show when I was little. I had it on double sided DVD, I probably still have it somewhere since I was like 8. I think I begged for it.
The fact that Ken said something about killing a bug & leaving it there for its friends to see so they know not to be there or they too will die, actually made laugh so hard cause 1) Dane said YEP, like he totally understand & 2) because I completely understood.
I remember seeing in a small documentary or something about the show (behind the scenes) Paris had a helicopter fly in Chinese food from a place she liked from New York...LOL

Well there’s actual work that can get done round them hours
Imean they ain’t fixed to do it but I can get done
Ken describing button phones like all of us ain't old enough
You should cover pimp my ride too!!!!
Gotta love the clapped out cars with $10,000 of TVs and speakers.
i loved that show
As someone who grew up in the south and has moved away, this video was so interesting.
Man I loved those days.
my grandpa had a baby blue one 😂
@@Stefaniemarieb Our first one had the United Airlines colors, back in those days used to be Continental Airlines, and funny enough we used to drop people at the airport all the time to that airline. lol. The last one we had was burgundy red.
The fact that we could use T9word (old text style) as a code now is wild to me. There are just 2 maybe 3 generations of people who just have that random knowledge😅 And texting while not looking in class back in the day was hilarious, dead silence and then just intense clicking
Binging this man’s videos all at once because I’m down bad for cute internet dads.
Excuse me maam, I know you're new here but we don't disrespect the mother Mary that way
That is such an odd thing to say
@eggystax4681 it's literally just a bad joke no harm intended lol all good humor lolol its just cause there's this whole bit with Mary (Ken's wife) and the chair and other UA-camrs saying Ken is soliciting Mary by not giving her a chair, lol just keep going you'll see
@@ms.fortunate I'm not new here ik that? I was talking about the hot dad's comment
Paris is a really smart person, she basically fooled the world playing dumb. shes dropped the baby voice, & is a DJ now. shes really talented.
And became a Mom. I saw the video of her Mom meeting her grandbaby 💙
Yessss
The “mc Lauren” gets me every time 😆
My favorite thing is how Paris played the whole world. She's genuinely so smart... She's admitted to it in recent years and it's spectacular.
Same lol
I had red Solo cups with a string attached…
_before that we just hit trees with sticks and hoped the sound carried._
LOL actually was used before T9 texting was really a thing. It was used in chat rooms and instant messenger back in the AOL days of dialup.😂😂
“You can’t use the phone now damnit, I’m online!”
*Sh!t needs interpreting*
😂😂😂😂 When I was a kid, my mom had that same brown Astro van
Exploring the woods with your siblings and having an adventure as a kid is the best thing ever, I have such fond memories of that time of my life. Maybe I’ll have to go have another adventure one day! Kinda forgot how magical it can be and could definitely use some of that in my life these days.
A good example. Why Santa is known the way he is. Media influence.
You mean like from the 20's and 30's when there was literally no media? Santa was basically made up by Parents so their kids would behave all year.
@10:55 😮😮😮😮😮HOLY SHIT KEN HAD LEGS?????
Im dying, and they bought Ken a brand new shirt to do this commercial. Nice pants on them legs Ken!!!
They completely plaid it up, creating what an influencer even was. Props to them
ITS THE BLIND VOICE ACTOR OMGGGG I HEAR HIM
I loved the Simple Life. What I really enjoy about your videos is you guys have lived in some of those areas and have known some colorful people. So your commentary isn't rude or unfounded, cause you grew up in the south. Another great video, with lots of laughs!!! 😂
I use to watch this just to laugh and imagine myself not having twin babies and rich.
This was my favorite show when I was little. I had it on double sided DVD, I probably still have it somewhere since I was like 8. I think I begged for it.
Ken making me feel my age wen talking bout texting on phone short had not use to many characters
Also only had so many texts also calling at certain hours in the evening was cheaper. XD
The fact that Ken said something about killing a bug & leaving it there for its friends to see so they know not to be there or they too will die, actually made laugh so hard cause 1) Dane said YEP, like he totally understand & 2) because I completely understood.
perfect time i literally just sat down to eat my lunch😭
Yes! Loved this show. People made fun of Paris, but she knew what she was doing. Brilliant.
Yes more please! 21:53
Nicole is the BEST
And the worst
The ‘Sonic’ episode of ‘The Simple Life’ was a tv masterpiece. No one will ever change my mind on that!
Low rise jeans are the female equivalent of sagging 😂😂
Not Ken explaining how texting used to work when even some of gen z grew up with it lmfaoooo 😂
I remember seeing in a small documentary or something about the show (behind the scenes) Paris had a helicopter fly in Chinese food from a place she liked from New York...LOL
I still use this face "xD" when I find something funny and I was told it was cringe....good.
XD
Yes, forget them, they don't know sh*t xD
Okok Ken! The sponsor was one I actually sat through! So exciting to see you out there!!!
I thought I left Paris Hilton in my past 😭
UA-cam hasn't been pushing her new vinyl on you? BBS lmao
I loved the show and Mary had a great rec. I hope they do more simple life reactions
