I got a week ago my Bizey with 2 middle joints, and i am really so happy about, i am a recorder player and i am still in the learning process of the traverso, but i am enjoying it a lot, and i would like to thank you for you videos… they tell me what i will be able to get from this instrument :)
@@faridrahmeh8479 Thanks Farid - traverso is not an instrument that people get good at quickly, even very fine modern flutists have to work very hard to play traverso really well, so take your time and enjoy it.
it is a type of plastic material for 3d printing which contains a percentage of redwood dust - as I understand it. I just help with the design but don't actually make them.
@@MichaelLynnFlute so a PLA with wood particles most likely. I've printed off one in PLA and the result wasn't great because they fine layer lines in the bore deaden the sound and also lead to some high frequency whistling around the embouchure. I applied a hard resin to the bore and polished it and now it sounds much better. I'm going to try some different materials like ASA and increasing the infill density as I suspect that PLA probably isn't the best choice.
perhaps it has to do with the resolution you are printing at - I think this materials sounds as good or better than the resin instruments being produced. It does require some amount of hand finishing as well.@@azw409

What material are they printed in? It looks like a nice wood effect?
