an alto "Serpent" flute in G or A and a tenor "Serpent" flute in D the tenor is a fourth or fifth lower than the alto; both will have extensions to Low G. the alto size will be comparable to the boehm alto flute. the tenor size will be comparable to the boehm bass (tenor) flute like they did with the GUO thing, instead of a flute d’Amore because a flute d’Amore is higher than an alto; therefore the d’Amore is not a true tenor flute. They’ll be innovative as long as they can have comfortable fingering span. They will be held upright and vertically. That’ll be an interesting idea!!!! They’ll look like serpents but with swan neck and flute type embouchure!!!
